Chapter 1: Evicted! Movie Night! On The Kitchen Floor! The...doorbell?

~Maxine's P.o.V.~

I stared at the bill of notice in my hands, I was standing in the crappy kitchen of mine and InuYasha's apartment. My checkered, safety-pinned backpack and black pullover still on. It was spring in my junoir year of high school. "Fuck..." I muttered, letting myself collapse on a cluttered chair around the buried table. "Hey baby...I'm home..." I heard InuYasha call from the front door. "Did you know about this?!" I yelled, standing up and shoving it into his hands before he could kiss me or eat anything. He stared at the bill I handed him. "Um..." he mumbled, his eyes scanning it. "It's a bill of eviction, InuYasha! It says we haven't fucking paid the last three months of rent!" I yelled, slamming my backpack down on the table. One of the legs finally snapped and the table gave out onto the floor completely. He swallowed, glancing at the table nervously,"Listen...Maxine...I was going to tell you...I was going to take care of it..." he said. "You said you had already paid them!" I yelled,"Do you realize...we will be homeless?!" I was breathing heavy and my hands were shaking slightly.

Ever since we had gotten married, my attitude had changed, I had become more responsible. Too responsible, Meg, Kim and Sarah were saying. I was 16 years old and married though. I had to be mature, but being mature doesn't mean you don't have a bad temper. I still looked the same, on the outside, or at least people saw me the same. The punk chick with the weird t-shirts, wristbands, bracelets and the short, flared hair that was always a different color. I still hadn't changed it from red and green though for the Christmas holidays, we were pretty low on money. InuYasha looked the same too, his hair had grown out again and he was still wearing the skater look. "Maxine...look...I will take care of it..." he said calmly. "We could get fucking kicked out! We owe four months of the damn rent to this shitty place, InuYasha!" I screamed. "Listen...my work place offered me the job of store manager...if I drop out from school I can work full time...it will be alright, I promise," he replied, calm again, I couldn't stand how fucking calm he was staying. "If you drop out...if you fucking drop out huh? Okay, tell me, you work full time and I go to school...we won't even have time to spend together here just so paying the rent will be worth it!" I said. Okay...I was over-reacting a bit. But it was a big deal...getting evicted. Hell, I didn't even have my full license yet! I sighed and leaned against the wall, sliding down to the ground with my head in my hands. InuYasha sat down beside me, don't ask me why we were sitting on the floor when the chairs were right there...we just...were. He pulled me closely and kissed me on the forehead,"I promise...we will be able to hang out a lot more and everything, Max..." he whispered. "Between our shit jobs now and school we barely see each other...just because we're in the same classes...but I want to just..sit around with you sometimes..." I said, leaning my head on his shoulder. He nodded slightly,"It'll work out..." I sighed, taking his hand and stroking his palm with my thumb. Sure, I could be a bitch and be mad, but we were still madly in love.

We just sat there for awhile kissing until we heard Meg,"I brought chicken wings!" I groaned lightly, fakely fainting in InuYasha's lap. It was movie night, Kim didn't come as often because nights were when the twins were asleep and Kaiba and her were alone, they usually said they were going to come but they tended to get...distracted easy. InuYasha chuckled and playfully tugged my hair. All hard feelings and the arguement gone from our minds. Jack peeked into the kitchen while Meg wiped off our coffee table, which was just as cluttered as the rest of our surfaces. Sarah and Will were carrying in grocery bags filled with chips, dip and lots of soda and...rum! "Why are ye sitting on the floor you two?" Jack asked. InuYasha shrugged and looked down at me, my head in his lap. I smiled,"Because Jack...we...got carried away?" I said. Jack laughed,"Well...nothing wrong with that then..." We walked into the living room and sat down on one of the armchairs together, I was in InuYasha's lap...but...yea who cares. "So! Movie night! Let's see...we have...Wayne's World which rocks...Moulin Rouge which...is just damn good and...Finding Nemo?" Meg said, holding up the selections. Sarah turned a bit red,"It's Finding Nemo!" she said, as if that changed something. Me and Meg smirked and started singing,"Come what mayyyy...." then Sarah joined in. InuYasha, Jack and Will all groaned,"Chick flick!" they said. Meg tackled Jack onto the couch, which gave a creak but withstood it again,"Ye bloody pirate...you live in a chick flick, so deal with it!" she said. He kissed her to get her to shush. She definately didn't complain. So...we ended up watching Moulin Rouge anyway with me and InuYasha in the arm chair, Jack and Meg sprawled out on the floor and Sarah with Will on the couch. Like we watched it but the movie finally ended and I yawned, stretching slightly and hopping off of InuYasha's lap,"Come on let's clean up the mess and leave the lovebirds alone..." I said, gesturing to the kissing couples, he groaned but stood up and helped me clean up the mess that we made in the living room and cleaning the dishes in the kitchen. He washed and I dried but I ended up getting wet anyway,"Cut it out, you little brat!" I said, laughing, drenched pretty much. "Stop getting kinky in there, we're still here!" Meg yelled, headbanging to Cradle of Filth which she had decided to blare on the stereo. I threw a towel at her, hitting her square in the head and she did a fake death and Jack caught her before she hit the ground and 'kissed her back to life'. Sarah and Will were whispering to each other and...giggling. I rolled my eyes,"When did our apartment become party central for these freaks?" I said, smirking. Meg stuck out her tongue,"You know you love us..." she said. "And I still wonder why!" I replied. InuYasha grabbed me around my waist,"Come on woman, help with the dishes!" he said, carrying me into the kitchen and splashing me with water. I laughed and kissed him on the lips,"Cut it out..." I whispered, my dripping nose almost touching his. He perked a brow and smirked, sticking his hand in my back pocket,"Or what?" he whispered, wiping my nose. I smiled, hopping up on the counter top so I could look straight in his eyes. He moved his hands on my waist,"Hmmm...or what?" he whispered into my ear, kissing me on the neck. I chuckled and turned his chin towards me, kissing him deeply square on the lips, my fingers rubbing his ear gently,"You know what..." I whispered, smiling at him, stroking his ear. He turned a bit red,"Max...they're just right there..." I laughed and kissed him again,"Then we'll go to the back room!" He widened his eyes and I jumped off the counter, whipping a towel at him,"But now...get to work, slave!" I said. He shook his head, laughing and tackled me gently to the ground so I was stuck underneath him...

~Meg's P.o.V.~

I went into the kitchen and there were Max and InuYasha on the floor, making out. "Now...what did I tell you two? No kinky!" I yelled. I was smirking slightly, with my hands on my hips. InuYasha kissed her again and waved his hand at me, I guess it meant for me to go away...but pffft...like I would! "I think...this calls for a dog pile!" I said, and heard Jack go,"Aye!" I chuckled as Jack sat himself on top of InuYasha like a sumo wrestler or something,"Gah! Get off old man!" he yelled. "Nope..." Jack said, smiling and pulling me down on top of him. "Ha! Finally I get to be on top of you, love!" I said triumphantly, kissing him. Sarah and Will looked into the kitchen, looking sort of...weirded out. Max groaned,"Okay...TOO much weight on little me here!" she said. Sarah smirked and sat down on InuYasha's and Max's legs,"Mwaha...finally revenge!" she said. Will smiled and sat on top of Sarah, and then they kissed. "There is a make-out session on top of me! Ugh..." Max said, trying to get free, but...she wasn't successful. InuYasha smiled,"Then shall we join them?" he said, winking, I think anyway. I was too busy kissing Jack. So we were a dog-pile make out session on top of Maxine. Okay, we were freaks, but we didn't give a fuck. W00t! Then...we were interrupted by the door bell which made all of us jump slightly. "Who the hell..." InuYasha muttered. "No...who the fuck could that be?" Max finished. Only me and Kim had keys to the apartment. No one ever rang the bell, not because InuYasha and Max were un-popular! They were just...married...so it kinda kept them from getting bell ringers. But here was the bell...ringing..."Okay, everyone off!" Maxine said. I got off Jack and whispered,"I can get on top later..." which made him smile and kiss me before getting off the poor couple underneath...Sarah and Will were still kissing quite a bit so we whipped them with towels and they moved onto the couch instead. Me and Jack went into the living room and sat down on the floor while InuYasha got off of Max and they went to the door, all I heard was a guy's voice, Max say,"Oh...my...God...", a guy's voice again, InuYasha whispering to Max softly, Max stuttering,"Y-yea...C-come in...I...I guess?" and then they walked into the living room with...
