Hey, another chapter, seems there's not much editing needed. But grrr, my disk with my lemon on it was erased, uber grrr! But, not to worry, it shall be re-written and uploaded by next weekened hopefully.

I know that it seems fast and right after the new moon, but, time + me + stories = chaos. So, this is really two weeks after Jou attended school, yup, again, sorry I never stated, DON'T OWN!!!!!!!

Jou closed his books, finishing his homework he sat back with a sigh, it'd been nearly two weeks since he had started attending Domino Highschool, two weeks since he realized that some humans, and one vampire could accept a Hanyou like him. He sat back sighing, knowing tomorrow would be the first day of the month that he'd transform into his full ningen form. He fingered the prayer beads that hung around his neck and rolled his eyes as he heard a low moaning from the room and then stood, figuring Inu and Roku needed some alone time and opened the door to his room and exited it just as the moans grew louder. He glanced at his watch, nearly ten, but he wasn't even close to tired, two more hours 'till his transformation, he headed towards the shrine. Opening the side doors of the main building he slid them shut softly behind him and then headed towards the smaller building and then up the small steps he slid off his shoes then slid the rice paper door aside and entered the confines of the room, the inscence tickling his nose and he bowed his head and clapped twice and then entered the main room and lit a stick of inscence watched the small flame then waved the flicker out and set it into the holder and folded his knees and sat on his heels and bowed his head. Murmuring his prayers softly he prayed for guidence, clarity and strength to get through the day. After a few minutes he extinguished the inscence and then exited the shrine, placed his shoes back on and then after re-entering the orphanage slid them off and Kyami smiled, "finished your prayers for tonight?"

Jou smiled, then nodded, "yes Kyami-san." He entered the kitchen and then opened the fridge and pulled out some milk, poured himself a glass, then took out some cookies and took his time with the before bed snack. Kyami sat down with a tea, "why so late going to bed?"

"Homework and my two neighbours." She chuckled softly,

"well, you should be used to it by now." Jou smiled,

"I am, but don't forget, I dated Roku too, I know what he can do with that sinful mouth of his." She lowered her mug,

"oh really?" Jou nodded,

"uh-huh, ever see him with a popsicle?"

"No." Jou lowered his glass,

"I bet he can put some to shame, it scares me sometimes." Kyami chuckled, Jou finished off his cookies and milk, and his ears swivled slightly and he sniffed, "hello Sesshoumaru." The Youkai sat down and nodded,

"Katsuya, can't sleep?" Jou smiled,

"I just need to ask, does the fact that Inu's a screamer run in the family?" The elder boy raised a brow, then his lips twitched and he chuckled,

"that's something that remains private and in the family." Jou stood, smiling,

"that answered my question." He placed the glass in the sink and bowed to Kyami, "goodnight

Kyami-san." She nodded,

"sleep well Katsuya, I'll send Chelle in at six-thirty." Jou smiled,

"as long as she doesn't bite me, you know I get grouchy." She nodded,

"she won't." Jou faced Sess and smirked,

"rest well see you in the morning." He nodded and Jou faced Kyami, "can you get me earplugs some time soon?" He exited the room and entered his own, slipping out of his clothes he slid into satin pajamas, leaving the shirt off for he knew his shoulders broaded when he changed. He slid into his bed and sighed, at least they were finished for tonight. At least that's what he thought. But, he was proven wrong as he heard dual moans. With a groan Jou pulled his pillow over his head, at times like these he regretted the fact he had chosen a room beside his best friend, when he heard another moan he pounded the wall and there was chuckling, before there was another, louder moan. He groaned once more, forcing his eyes shut and trying to block out the sounds that aroused him, he finally fell into a deep sleep.

The next thing Jou knew was he was being shaking, "wake up Katsuya!" Jou cracked open an green eye and glared at Miroku,

"you're fault I'm tired!" The boy smiled,

"I must apologize, but it's nearly seven, you still need to bathe." Jou nodded and sat up, then stood, catching a glance of himself of in the mirror and sighed, his once blonde, now black hair flowed down his back, to mid back,

"it's getting longer each time." It was was spiked slightly and slightly more wild, he pulled his hair back a bit and sighed, his ears were now human, and his honey eyes were a deep green. He ran his fingers through his hair and then grabbed his clothes and walked into the baths and stripped down then dove gracefully into the water and then sat up and flicked his head back the excess water pooling back and splashing into the warm water he swam over to the edge and then washed his hair and then after a few minutes he exited the pool and dressed into wide legged black pants and a green silk shirt. He grabbed a tie and pulled his damp hair into a ponytail and exited the room nearly bumping into another kid, "oh, sorry Kouga."

"No problem, water still hot?"

"Yeah."

Jou bit into his toast and then glanced at the clock and his eyes widened, "oh shit!" Kyami glared at him,

"Jounouchi, language!" He bowed slightly,

"I gotta run, a car would take to long, bye, oh, Roku, I'll kill you later." He smirked and finished the toast and hefted up his bag and Sesshomaru who had just entered the room did a double take and Jou exited the building and then after a moment began running. He weaved in and out of large crowds, then glanced at his watch and muttered beneath his breath, he had promised Yugi a duel before school, he told him he'd meet him at 8:00, and Jounouchi Katsuya never broke a promise, he leapt onto the fence climbing effortlessly to the top, the leapt in the air and then landed in the school yard, skidding to a stop on the gravel, pushing some up and nearly sliding and falling. He regained his balance and then took off in a straight line towards the football arena and leapt over rocks as he went, picking up speed, he wished for his full strength as he would be able to run faster, but, never the less ran just the same.

Yugi glanced at his watch, then looked around, everyone had gathered, Jou was good at dueling as he had proved in a duel against some punk, but he had yet to duel Yugi and he hadn't dueled Kaiba. The day he was supposed to the disks had glitched so they were unable to progress. Bakura looked at his watch, "hmph, typical, he backed out, it's two minutes after eight, he's not coming, come on Ryou, let's go home." Ryou shot his dark a look and faced Yugi,

"maybe he isn't coming." Seto, who'd over the course of the two weeks became a friend perked up and his head whipped around,

"he's coming, I can smell it." Mai's nose wrinkled,

"gross, ewww, I didn't need to hear that!" Yugi frowned,

"where, I don't see him." There was a clanging from the metal fence and then after a few moments Jou skidded to a stop, billowing a cloud of dust, Mai coughed and fanned the cloud away, Jou smiled apologetically,

"sorry I'm late, I slept in, damn Miroku, so, where's ma dueling disk?" He caught it from Seto and slid it on with a firm nod, then produced his deck. Yugi smiled,

"okay, deploy holoprojectors!" He took his cards, "it's time to duel!"

Jou was soon to learn that Yugi wasn't just good, he was very much deserving of his Duelist Kindom Champion title, Yugi had his Dark Magician on the field as well his Celtic Guardian, he had two magic or trap cards down and Jou drew, then glanced at his hand, then at the card he had just drew and gave a smirk, time to end this duel, he smirked, "I play polymerization!" He placed the card down and smiled, "to fuse my Red Eyes Black Dragon and my Summoned Skull for Black Skull Dragon, then I'll place Copy Cat on the field and use it's effect to make another Black Skull and lastly I'll play the magic card Doppelganger, to make a third Black Skull, now, because Copy Cat and the Orginal Black Skull are as a result of a polymerization, I cannot attack with them, but, my third one can, Black Skull attack Celtic Guardian!" With a screech the monster lunged forwards, Yugi's life points lowered to 6000 and he grunted, Jou smirked, "to end my turn I'll place this card face down and that's all for now." Yugi frowned, then drew, he knew an attack from all three would finish him off, he smiled,

"you should have killed me when you had the chance Jou!" He smiled, "I'll equip my Dark Magician with Horn of the Unicorn, rasing it's attack by 700 to match your monters' attack, next, I'll equip it with Sword of Deep Seated increasing it by another 500, and lastly I'll play the magic card Yami!" Yugi grinned,

"now my monster's attack is 3900, now my Dark Magician, attack Jou's Black Skull Dragon, Dark Magic Attack!" The scepter swung forward but Jou reamined passive and calm as the black fluidic blast headed his way and merely chuckled,

"reveal Hakooni Whip Chains!" Yugi's eyes shot wide,

"no, a trap card!"

Jou nodded, smiling, "yes, Hakooni allows me to increase a monsters attack by 700 points, so, my Black Skull's attack is now 3900, same as your Magician's, but Yugi, you seem to have forgotten, Yami increases fiends as well, so it's attack is now 4100." Yugi frowned deeply, Jou smirked, "sorry Yugi, but, Black Skull Dragon, attack his Magician!" Jou watched as the monster scattered then vanished, he nodded, "and my other two Black Skull's attack Yugi's Life Points!" Yugi grinned,

"thank you Jounouchi!" Jou frowned, Yugi smiled, "Mirror Force!" Jou's eyes widened,

"no!" The attacks boomeranged and as his Life Points hit zero from their mark at 5000, the holograms vanished and Yugi gathered his cards,

"you almost had me, congradulations Jou." The blonde nodded and Seto took both duel disks and Jou glanced at his watch, then looked around, with no one in sight he stretched and Yugi sat down on the grass, "gonna take off that hood?" Jou smiled taking the hooded vest off and laying it on the ground to sit upon, Otogi raised a brow,

"your hair grows too?" Jou took the tie out and sighed,

"just lately it's been getting longer each time, why?" Otogi merely reached up and released his hair, it flowed down his shoulders stopping just before his hips, Jou nodded and after a moment and a struggle Otogi's hair was back up.

Mai sat down, "so, what sort of pro's come with this thing?" Jou shrugged and pulled out a granola bar,

"not much, I get more emtional, and I look normal." Jou frowned, then took a bite of his bar, Yugi looked at him,

"what?" Jou smiled,

"nothing." Seto sighed,

"what's up pup?" Jou rolled his eyes,

"just, this one time, about four years back, when I was still with my foster father, the asshole." He scowled, "anyways, this one day, I still had no idea I was a demon, you gotta know that, I was just sitting outside, reading, when my older adoptive brother comes out and starts giving me all hell for eating his pocky. Which was very good by the way, it was blueberry. Back to the point, I was trying to keep calm and reason with him, because I know my temper's not the best, so, I lost it completely, I blacked out, the next thing I knew I was in the house watching as Yuki's getting hauled in an ambulance, I tore into him, litterally. He suffered severe blood loss, there was reconstructive surgery needed I flattened his nose and knocked out four teeth, plus he had cuts and gnashes all over his body." Jou sighed as he finished the snack, "it's happened once and only once afterwards, about a year and a half ago, but, I was contained, one of my best friends had died, the night after my transformation was rough, I was put in a spare room, everything was barracaded, Kyami watched as I tore apart every piece of furniature then tried pounding the wall down and nearly succeeded too. From what she tells me as a warning to others, if I start dwelling and taking pleasure in pain or hurting something or someone, if I relish in the taste of blood, more than usual, plus there's other stuff, like, my voice changes, it goes monotone and deeper, just slightly, plus my eyes kinda go firey, not in colour, but in emotions, she says the only way to stop me if that happens is to subdue me." Yugi frowned,

"wow, that sucks, is it, is it a defensive thing?" Seto answered,

"it's possible, but all demons have a switch, like, a control mechanism, and sometimes emotions well up, anger, hate, sadness, even joy, they brew up and the demon snaps, like floodgates open and they just let everything loose." Everyone faced him, he pushed the sunglasses to the top of his head and smiled, "what, I have videos of myself, I nearly killed two of my servants because of a petty thousand Yen, but that week had been stressful, I had four meetings, so, bang, I exploded, I sure it's the same for Jou, like blood lust." Jou nodded,

"mmm-hmm."

Jou yawned as he emerged from the school glad for the half day, Yugi walked over, "hey Jou, wanna do something tonight, considering it's a Saturday?" Jou smiled,

"not right away Yug, I have some stuff I need to do first, say, tell ya what, why don't you and the gang swing by the orphanage later today, Kyami-san wouldn't mind in the least, we've got some great movies and she'll order out and everything, we can have a sleepover." Yugi beamed,

"that's great, I'm pretty sure everyone can join us, we'll come over later, 'cause I have some homework and stuff, should we bring anything?"

"Nah, clothes, pjs, what ever else ya need." There was a horn honk and Jou glanced over at the blue mustang, damn, did the orpanage have money, Kyami waved and Jou jogged over, she smiled,

"yes they can come over, I already set up everything." Jou smiled,

"I hate you for that." She sighed,

"well, it's gonna be an uneventful weekend, why not have some friends over, ne?"

"Hai."

See, Kyami can see the future, cool! And when writing this chapter, I had no clue that the 'I can smell him coming'

'Eeww that's really gross' thing sounded so damned kinky! Geez, Seto's a horny bugger, ne?
