Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ A kiss means koi ❯ Chapter I ( Chapter 1 )
Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh, I own "Truth of the Insane" but nothing else.
This came up while thinking of Truth of the Insane, but it has nothing to do with the story. It's an AU, and cute. Seto is smart, but he is childish innocence as a kid.
More info:
Contains said child abuse. Rape, lies, insults, and Anzu bashing, hope you enjoy!
Arigato to all those that have reviewed me, and I'm aware of the grammar mistakes, but I didn't plan on seeing any since I always have my grammar check set on formal.

A Kiss means Koi

Sixteen year old, Seto Kaiba pulled himself out of bed. He growled at all the scars that formed over his body from his adoptive father Gozaburo. Sitting, lazily, up, feet dangling, Seto yawned. The first day of school, he didn't want to go, but he had to. Completely getting out of bed, Seto walked into his personal bathroom.
Turning on the warm shower, Seto leaned back against the wall, his eyes on the drain. He never felt this lazy before, he didn't even feel like getting out of the tub, he really wanted to let his feet give away and fall back asleep on the bathroom floor (a/n; I DO this all the time, ain't a morning person).
Reaching over, he pulled out his Caudalie Gentle Conditioning Shampoo, he lathered up his hair, grumbling under his breath.
They always said `you can't do more than one thing at once'; he HAD to be the exception to the rule, he could yell at Mokuba's teachers, do his own homework, deal with a bunch of whining employees, and sign his will all at once. Smiling at the thought of a will, Seto rinsed his hair out, ignoring the directions `rinse and repeat'.
Getting out of the shower, Seto pulled a towel around himself, drying his body off, staring at the fogged mirror. His once cerulean eyes had become cold and life less, his smile never showed, his past forgotten. Nothing was like when he was a kid, not even Mokuba.
He dressed himself in silence, his face still as he reached towards his old jewelry box, the one Mokuba had given to him, pulling out his dual monster picture frame that held Mokuba in it, putting that on, and a heart shaped friendship necklace with the marred letter `K' in the middle.
There was no clue where he got it, he couldn't remember where he'd got it, but it made him feel comforted. Mokuba had guessed the `K' stood for `Kaiba' and was given by one of Seto's many fans.
Walking down the many corridors of their home, Seto stopped by the kitchen to grab himself a bagel and stared at his brother.
"Hey Seto." Mokuba smiled, staring at his brother as the older teen ate. "Are you just going to eat that plan?"
"Yes."
"You're boring." Mokuba muttered. "You've gotta take chances, like put cream in your coffee." He smiled as Seto grumbled at that thought.
"Too complex, I don't need to think about all those blends they have." Seto finished his bagel before standing up and grabbing his briefcase and waited for his brother to hurry up with his breakfast.

The alarm clock was ringing, but Katsuya didn't care, he knocked the digital off his bedside table, pulling the covers over his head with a grunt.
In truth, he hadn't slept in on school days like this always, it was happening since that accident, a long time ago.
"Get the hell up brat, I won't have the police at my door again because you're skippin' school." He father threw the door in as Katsuya jerked up.
"I-I was awake, just…resting my eyes." Katsuya yawned, pulling himself fully out of bed. He ignored the shower; he took one that night, and would take one after gym. He put on his ragged uniform, which seemed to be getting a little smaller on him, his crotch being tightened around the hem. He sighed, grabbing his dog tags and friendship necklace.
He wished he remembered the point of the necklace that had the `S' marred in it, but when he was ten, his father had thrown him down stairs. The boy had a concussion and lost most of his memory at that impact. Smiling at himself in the mirror, he bushed his hair down.
"Katsuya! Get your fucking ass out of my house!" His dad yelled once more. Katsuya pulled his backpack on, running out the door, a Pop-Tart at hand. He smiled as Honda ran up to him, out of breath.
"Hey, Katsuya!" He smiled. "Are you SURE you're not signing up from track!" He did all but whispered, gasping his chest.
"Sorry man, dad kicked me out in a rush this morning, Pop-Tart?" He held out the package.
"Don't mind if I do." Honda snatched one, eating it. He stared into Katsuya's honey eyes smiling brightly. "New year, any plans on a boyfriend or girlfriend?"
"If you're thinking about yourself, no." He sighed.
"Never?"
"Maybe, but right now, somebody's in my heart, and this necklace is proof." He showed the necklace, Honda's face grimed.
"Thousands of men in the tri area alone, and you're looking for one with an S at the beginning. I'd say `shit'." He snorted.
Katsuya nodded, walking into the school building, ten minutes before the bell rang.

Seto stared at his book as the other students crowded in the room, talking all at once about their summers. He heard an annoying voice as he stared up to face a tri haired teen, talking to a loud mouth brunette girl, she laughed back at him.
Such things made him sick, Seto turned back to his book, jerking again as the door opened for another group to enter.
"Hey, Honda, I need to borrow a note book, I seemed ta left mine at home!" A voice reached Seto's ears, something in his heart lightened, but he ignored it.
Cerulean eyes met the honey ones that walked in; he blushed and turned back to his book as the blonde took a seat, laughing at what the boy he entered with was saying.
Seto couldn't help it, there was something about the blonde that made his heart lift over and over as he stared at him.
The blonde turned and faced him, smiling. "What are you looking at?" He asked.
Taking a deep breath, Seto growled. "A dog in the wrong place, aren't you suppose to be at the pound? Something needs to be put to sleep." He growled.
The honey eyes widened. "Who do you think you are?!" He growled.
"Not your master," He turned to the brunette with the blonde mutt, "keep your dog under control, or I'll have him shot." He snorted.
The brunette growled at him. "Leave him alone, Katsuya." He muttered as the blonde stood up.
"Nah, this guy needs a lesson, quick and easy." He walked over to Seto, who stared at the blonde with a smile.
"What? Going to give me rabies?" He asked, the blonde, Katsuya, lunged towards him with his fist.
The impact hit Seto with great surprise, he never that that anybody would ever hit him. Everybody was afraid of him, and he now lied on the ground, wiping the blood from his mouth. He stood up, slamming his fist back in the blonde.
The fight was on, all the students surrounded the two, watching punch after punch, as the two got up and reentered the fight. The two jerked back as strong arms wrapped around both of their collars.
"You two, out of my room. Now!" The sensei snarled, Seto glared at the one, Katsuya, who spit on his feet and walked out of the room, Seto following a little slower.

The grammar should be better this time. I think I'll get a beta, but I need to find a good one. If interested, please e-mail me at shiroma_tribal@yahoo.com or miles_vorkosigan@dbzmail.com
