This is my first attempt at a Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction so please be kind in your reviews, if you review. I might not have many of the characters in character. On another note I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh and never will. I don't know whom it is that owns Yu-Gi-Oh and besides giving these unknown parties credit for making such a kickass manga/anime, I don't really care. Also, I don't have any money right now so, no one can benefit at all when it comes to suing me.

I came up with this idea when I read a couple of stories that I have read on fanfiction.net. One was recently taken off for some reason but it had been a good story. The other focused on the series if Yugi had been born a girl. I decided to take my shot at this kind of story but using Seto Kaiba. I will only mention this once so pay attention:

"The Zohar!?" A young lady with brown hair and turquoise eyes said as she spotted a large golden object floating in a large room. Actually, all of this was happening on a television monitor that a young boy with long black hair was watching with a controller in his hands. He was playing one of his favorite games despite the fact that he was stuck on this one part.

Meanwhile, Kaiba was in the bathroom taking a long soak in the bathtub. She had started to apply shampoo to her hair while thinking about the day's events. //Everything has been going according to plan. Well, not quite with the lack of Kami-no-Cardo sightings, but there is still another afternoon before the start of the finals. Yugi has made strong progress today. He managed to destroy Exodia and has earned three puzzle cards at the very least. I'm surprised that the trash duelist has survived up to this point. It won't matter in the end when I prove that I am the number one gamer in the entire world.

"Again," the young boy said as his entire party of Kos-Mos, Chaos, and Ziggy were hit by a Hell's Flash killing all three for a fifth time. "Show some originality for once. I think I'll go after the big guy, those little guys are a pain in the ass to kill not to mention having to worry about tall, dark and absolutely freaky."

Back to Kaiba, the businesswoman stepped out of the bathtub, drying her face. Heading to where she has her sleepwear for the night, she got her clothes on and took the time to admire herself in the mirror. //A lot has changed since that one duel many months ago. Back then, most people would see the male version of me that I have been disguised as. True, Mokuba has had me go out to clubs as a female many of time, but my body has never looked this good back then.// "Yep times sure change quickly if I am thinking about these things. I wonder how Mokuba is doing.

"Defeated again. It doesn't matter what I do. Chaos's A.G.W.S. unit is too slow Ziggy doesn't get enough turns, destroying those little guys increase the big guys strength, and they heal almost all damaged the big guy takes."

"Ziggy is useless for the most part in this game otoutosan," Seto said as she walked in. "For the most part, Ziggy should only be used in certain boss fights for his use of Fire-based tech attacks. Besides Margulis and that ice guy earlier in the stage, he can be a big factor in only two situations and no more than three situations. Otherwise, ignore him unless you need him. Are your guys at lv. 17+?" Mokuba shook his head no and says 15. "Do they all have the armor that you can acquire at the Dock Colony?"

"Never had the money to do that," Mokuba said.

"I guess that rules out upgrading your A.G.W.S. units then," Kaiba sighed. "Do you have Spell Ray, R-Blade, and Heaven's Wrath in the H1 slot of their respective owners?" Mokuba nodded yes. "Now, have you thought about transferring Shion's Medica All to the others and setting that." Another nod from the pre-teen. "Now did you find the Magical Hat and have Shion and Chaos protected from Lost Status and have all three protected against Phys. Def. Down?"

"No on the Lost Status Neesan," Mokuba said.

"Then I suggest restarting the game from the beginning or build up to level 20," Seto said. "All three are weak against Slash attacks. Lightning is also effective to some extent and make sure that Shion, Chaos and Kos-Mos have near the maximum allowed amount for EATK, VIT, and EDEF. You'll need it. It would be much easier if both A.G.W.S. units had two axes equipped and were upgraded. If you start all over, Pleroma, and U-TIC Battleship have biological enemies. They give out money when you defeat them, so visit those two locations when money becomes an issue. Just watch out for the room with the A.G.W.S. pilot. When you had gone through the U-TIC Battleship as Jr., he was easy, now he is ten times stronger with an incredibly powerful mech called Din Gareth."

"Thanks," Mokuba said as his sister sat in a chair next to his. "So, tomorrow is the big day for the tournament? The first eight duelists that arrive at the given location in their puzzle cards by the end of the day are the finalists. Not to mention the first round of the finals happen traveling to Alcatraz."

"Right now, I'm more concerned about the sight, or lack thereof, of the other two God Cards," Kaiba said picking up a book. "You'd think the others would have shown up by now after playing Obelisk."

"Maybe the Ghouls that have those particular cards in their decks are on their way to the tournament right now," the young boy explained. "They probably didn't think that there were going to be any cards worth wasting their super cards on. Obelisk is a really awesome monster power wise. It had Negumo quaking in horror from its attack. Did 'The Spider' really have any cards that would call for Obelisk's rage to strike down if it wasn't for the fact that you wanted to get the Ghouls attention?"

"I guess you're right," Mokuba smiled at Kaiba's admission. "If the Ghouls had thought that there were going to be no cards rare or powerful enough to require a God Card's attention, they would've been used by now." //Or perhaps they might have another target in mind and expose as little of those two cards as possible. Only two such people fit their target list. Me and-, YUGI.// Kaiba thought angrily at the revelation of Yugi being a possible Ghoul target. //I have a God Card and still he is targeted above me. Having a member that can defeat Yugi would wind up embarrassing me? I can't let that happen, yet, Yugi is of no concern to me before the finals. As long as none of the Ghouls that do have Osiris and Ra challenge him, the situation is okay. He may have been able to destroy Exodia, but he can't stand up to a monster that is even stronger. I have to increase the urgency of finding those two Kami-no-Cardo.//

"You know," Mokuba said, disrupting Kaiba's thoughts. "I was wondering why you chose Alcatraz, the seat of our stepfathers fell empire? It is so far out of the way and so cold."

"I have my reasons for choosing that place," Kaiba said standing up. "You don't need to concern yourself about them. I'll be going to my room now." Kaiba just started walking, leaving Mokuba to his game. //The main reason is that my victory there has symbolic meaning. I plan to bury the past there by crushing Yugi. Isis is wrong about who I am and this will be proof to her and anyone who would be stupid enough to believe her that the past has no meaning in the present or the future.//

Meanwhile back at Domino, the sun has set, but the tournament has been going strong. One duelist was on the verge of winning his fourth straight duel in a gauntlet match. He a monster that looked like Dark Knight Gaia but he was riding a yellow skeleton of a dragon. Dueling four opponents without stopping or resetting his life points had him at a measly 100 LP. His opponent had managed to get five monsters on the field and due to a field magic card and a Demon Axe, his Don Zalooq has equal attack strength (2600) while maintaining 2600 life points. "Don Zalooq, sacrifice yourself and destroy his Dragon Knight Gaia so that the rest of your Black Scorpion Gang can directly attack his life points." The five monsters charged into battle ready to win the duel.

"Not a bad plan, but I activate Holy Barrier: Mirror Force." Don Zalooq's attack bounced off and back at him and the other Black Scorpions, destroying them all. "Now Dragon Knight Gaia, direct attack." The kid's life points were reduced to 0 when the monster had completed his attack.

"Awww nooooo." The losing duelist yelled out as he lost. "Man you are a good duelist. Taking on all four of us in a gauntlet match with no rest or resetting your life points. No one can beat you after this display."

"Yeah," the winner said. "It is only a matter of time before the whole world knows that I am the best. Not even Motou or Kaiba can stop me."

"That hardly sounds fair that six-star duelist would beat on three-star duelists that he snuck in," a female voice said behind the five. "How you try your luck with an eight-star duelist like myself?" The group turned to see a tanned-skinned woman with blue eyes, wearing a white gown with golden jewelry, most noticeably a necklace with an eye-like symbol on it.

"It's that girl on the tv," one of the females said. "Isis. I didn't know she dueled."

"Yes," Isis said. "And I am Egypt's National Champion. I just started in this tournament so I have only one puzzle card which I will gladly put up with my entire deck for your five puzzle cards and none of your rare cards. I think that it is fair to let you know that my deck has cards that not even Kaiba or Yugi are aware of. What do you say?"

"My five cards for your one and your entire deck," the guy questioned. "A person doesn't get much of a chance to improve their decks by that much. I'll except that challenge." //It will be one final step before I could find out what happened to my mentor, Keith.//

"And you have sealed your own defeat," Isis said.

"Are you nuts," the guy said. "I was the only student of Keith Howard. He did not leave that place alive and I am going to find out why."

//Guess again.// The two duelists shuffled their decks and placed the cards in the card drive. "This duel shall last five rounds," Isis whispered as she drew her first five cards but did not look at them. "I'll go first and I will summon Mudora in attack mode." Isis drew and threw her card down without even looking at it and a and human-like monster with bronze skin, a gold mask, and wearing and Egyptian skirt (4/1500/1800.)

"No way," one of the spectators noticed. "She played that straight from her deck without looking at it."

"I'm not done yet," Isis said. "My next card is one of my strongest magic cards. It's called Path to the Grave. It allows me to see your hand, name two cards from it, like Dark Knight Gaia of the Gale and Raise Dead, and send them to the graveyard. No discard the two cards I just named and then you get to do the same thing." Her opponent fell on his butt.

"How did you know that I have those two cards? You must be cheating like that Roba guy."

"Not quite," Isis said calmly while revealing your hand. "I'm more like Pegasus, where he could actually read minds before his death. Now pick two cards for me to discard although Saint Magician and Sealing Swords of Light are your most obvious picks."

"You're damn right," the guy said as he drew. //This is nuts. I am now down to three card in my hand before I even get my turn. At least I know she is using a discard deck.// "I play Coins from Heaven, allowing both of us to draw until we each have 6 cards. Then I summon Blood Vors in attack mode. Next I play Hand Obliteration. I saw that Kuribo because of Path to the Grave now send your hand to the graveyard and draw the same number of cards that were discarded. Now attack my Blood Vors." The ugly beast-like monster barreled forward with its large axe. Mudora prepared for the assault with his sword. Isis's opponent was confident about his victory but was shocked to see that his monster lost (I: 4000 UG: 3700.) "What? But my monster had 400 more attack points than your monster."

"Wrong," Isis corrected. "I played Mudora with the intention that you would play Coins from Heaven followed by Hand Obliteration that combo allowed me to draw three Angel sub-types and discard them and Mudora receives 200 attack points for each Angel in my graveyard, giving him 2100 attack points. Now I draw one card and set it face down while I play Spell Reproduction. I discard 2 cards and I get to play one magic from my graveyard. Say hello to my own Hand Obliteration. After drawing my four cards I place this in defense mode and attack with Mudora." (I: 4000 UG: 1600) //Now summon your Spear Dragon and attack my Saint Magician.//

The guy drew his next card. "I play Spear Dragon in attack. Attack her face down monster." An oddly shaped blue dragon appeared and blasted and whirlwind of air at Isis' "unknown monster." A female monster appeared with a staff that had a crescent moon on the end of it (I: 2500 UG: 1600.) "Saint Magician that means you take any magic card from your graveyard and add it to your hand."

"That's right," Isis said. "Now I set this face down and attack with Mudora." Spear Dragon was now gone, but luckily, her opponent didn't lose any life points because Spear Dragon switches to defense after it attacks. He draws his next card and smiles.

"I play Goddess of Healing Dian Keto to regain 1000 life points (UG: 2600) and I set two cards face down," the guy just waited.

"I summon Don Zarooq and equip it with Meteor Strike and activate Hand Obliteration before having him attack Demon: Tera (4/700/1300.) As you take damage from my monster, send the top 2 cards in your deck to the graveyard." Her opponent looked at the two cards he had to send away.

"You've activated Penguin Knight," he said in delight. "I get to shuffle my graveyard back into my deck. You've sent about 19 cards to your graveyard. I now draw my card." He got a good look. "Great, since I have no monsters in my hand I can summon this monster. Dark Knight Gaia of the Gale." The horse-riding knight that Yugi had been known to use appears because of its effect (7/2300/2100.) "Attack her Mudora." Isis's monster was destroyed in the charge (I: 2300 UG: 2500.) "So much for your prediction of this duel ending in five turns. End turn."

"Actually everything has gone as I predicted it would," Isis said drawing her card. "I won't need to summon anymore monsters."

"Yeah right," one of the guy's crew said. "Most of your cards are in the graveyard."

"I still have my heaviest hitting card in my entire deck and it is a trap card," the face down card flips up. "Meet Reverse Worlds. My deck is Cemetery Protection and with this card, I pay 1000 life points and both of us must exchange our deck with our cemetery. You have no cards in your graveyard so you now have no cards in your deck."

"No way," the guy said. "That means on my turn now, I can't draw anymore cards and I lose."

"Let's get that cheater and take her cards," the whole group pulled out knives from their pockets and approached the blue-eyed Egyptian.

"Actually I didn't," Isis said as the eye on her necklace glowed. "I do have the ability to see into the future. Unfortunately for you, you are breaking the rules by going against our agreement and must be punished." The light glowed brighter before fading away and her would be attackers are passed out. "When you wake up, you won't remember a thing I just said and no one will ever believe a thing you've said. I'll take these now." Isis grabbed the 5 puzzle cards she needed to enter the finals (I: 1300 UG: 2500, but deck out.)

Ishtal Isis: Qualified for the tournament finals.

Morning has arrived at Domino, meaning the start of a new day of dueling for the duelists that have survived the first day. Many thoughts are surfacing the minds of many duelist. Many of them include how much tougher the competition is now that the weaklings have been eliminated on the first day. Two minds are thinking about when and where the ghouls would strike next. One is thinking about the other two Kami-no-Cardo she needs. Another female is wondering about what unsuspecting male she can dupe into giving up his puzzle cards. What none of the participants know is that there are now more new entries into the tournament.

At the docks of Domino City a blonde Egyptian teen alongside a tall Egyptian man wearing black robes were greeted by another group of people wearing the same robes as the man. "Malik-sama and Rishid-sama. What brings you two here?"

"Some interesting developments have occurred that requires our attention," Malik said. "The third Kami-no-Cardo, Obelisk is in this city and is in Kaiba's hands. Now give Rishid the stuff he needs to secure both mine and his positions in the final." The henchman gave Rishid a duel disk and two puzzle cards. "Rishid, it is up to you to earn 10 more puzzle cards and a bunch of rare cards for the next phase of my plans if this doesn't work." Malik grabbed a gold-like object from the robes. It was shaped like a rod with a ball on one end. Most notable was the eye-like symbol on the ball.

"So you are going to use Pantomime against Yugi," Rishid asked. The others gasped at the revelation.

"Yes," Malik said. "He was able to beat Pandora who used a mirror image of Yugi's deck. It is time to sick Osiris on him. Of Pantomime can't control that powerful beast by himself and will need some who can, like me. If this doesn't work, then I want the others to search out for Yugi's friends and be ready to capture them so that I can put them to good use. Got that."

"Yes Malik-sama." Everyone else shouted in unison.

"Good, now go." With that one command everyone left. Malik took off his robes revealing a lavender shirt and black pant. "Of course, I'll be doing some undercover scouting while taking on Yugi." Malik walked of to an alleyway where a motorcycle was standing there. He got on and soon he was off to an unsuspecting city full of potential victims and servants.

I don't know what to think of this chapter. I decided that Isis would face and original character that would have a link to the late Bandit Keith that wouldn't be important. He won't be back anytime soon. Next Chapter: Now that we've had Isis get six puzzle cards, it is now up to Rishid to earn six more puzzle cards in a 2-on-1 duel. Featured Card: Hand Obliteration.
