Yami felt faint as they walked to Yugi's home so close to his on the cliffs. He was afraid his beloved's family wouldn't like him. His crimson eyes though, betrayed no emotion; staying hard and cold. Seto's cool and calculating ones met his, trying to ask if he felt the same nervousness. Seto knew Yugi's friend Joey would be there. For some reason, that made him weary of going to the home. Yugi felt the tension between the two and send them questioning glances.

::What is up with them? They almost seem frightened of my house or something. Maybe they find my family intimidating?::

The young Mutou smiled as he reached the Kame Game Shop, and was surprised to see it shrouded in customers. They all were chatting happily, looking around, and waiting to purchase some kind of game. Yugi blinked and noticed there was this many people with three registers open, and still the line was huge. He turned to his companions.

"Yami, Seto? Um…the shop's kind of busy. Can you help run it? It'd be good to have six registers open with all these people…Will you help?"

Yami chuckled. "Of course, Aibou. We'd love to, ne Seto?"

The priest nodded, feeling slightly disappointed since he didn't see Joey. They were all startled when they heard people speak to them from behind, the loudest voice adorned with a New York accent.

"Yo Yug! We `ere ta help!"

The teenager laughed. "Thanks guys. That makes… Duke, Joey, Tea, Tristan, Ryou…eleven registers open! Serenity can help restock some of the stuff."

Everybody got to work, slowly getting rid of the large crowd in the shop. When it was over Solomon patted Yugi on the back.

"Good work you and your friends did. I didn't know they were here."
Joey answered for Yugi. "Yeah Gramps! We came `ere when we `eard Yug was leavin' us!"

Solomon chuckled and nodded, heading to the back to restock some supplies. Rebecca then looked at her cousin, astonished to see the two mermen who'd hurt him. She glared at the prince and priest.

"What are you two doing here?!"

Yami looked slightly hurt, while Seto, on the other hand, looked totally unphased. Yugi stepped beside Yami, allowing the crimson-eyed male to wrap his arms around his waist. Rebecca realized they had made up. She rolled her eyes and walked upstairs to her new room without so much as a hello. Seto glared up the stairs, wanting to strangle the girl.

"Well isn't she rude! Ignorant brat…"

Yami chuckled at the brunette's words, then followed the priest's softened gaze to Joey. The two were locked in what looked like a staring contest. The cobalt-eyed male whispered something to the blonde, Joey nodded. He looked at his tri-colored-haired friend.

"Hey Yuge, Ima' go `kay?"

The teen gave a thumbs up. "Alright, be my guest. I think Seto is coming with you huh?"

Both fought back the urge to blush, but Joey nodded all the same. "Yeah. Layter!"
Yami simply raised an elegant eyebrow. Seto could be so predictable sometimes…

A/N: Uh, sorry the chapter is so short. I promise the next one will be really long. It's just that I want to get on a roller coaster. I'm using my dad's laptop in our RV (mobile camper thingy) to post this. We're at Busch Gardens in Virginia! ^_^
