The next morning, Yugi awoke to a beeping alarm clock. It seemed his cousin had also set the alarm before she left yesterday. He sighed and flipped onto his back.

::Did I make a mistake? Did Yami truly love me…?::

Yugi held back the urge to cry and got ready for his first day at Domino High School. He smirked, remembering how his grandfather allowed him to be a punk again; something he loved dearly. The teen dressed in a black pair of leather pants, as tight as if they were a second skin, which his grandfather would NOT approve of. He pulled on a matching leather shirt and then put on black socks and black boots with chains covering them. He placed four silver bracelets on each arm, along with two leather cuffs on each wrist; all the cuffs connected by thick metallic chains. He tightened the leather neck buckle and put chains on his pants, letting them hang down to his knees.

Yugi headed downstairs, his grandfather, Solomon, spotting him in the punk attire. Solomon hated it, but knew it was his grandson's decision. He glanced at Arthur, who nodded approval. Both twitched as Rebecca said it looked awesome. That was most certainly something they didn't want to hear from the `innocent' blonde thirteen-year-old. Yugi chuckled at his cousin's comment, grabbed his leather black book bag, took a piece of toast, and headed out the door. He knew he would be about two hours early to the high school; but so what? As he passed the cliff, he didn't noticed a tall male, also leather clad, watching him. He was standing at the top of the marble stairs, just closely studying the other. The stranger smirked and adjusted the strap on his book bag, following the teenager. Yugi felt somebody watching him. He tried to ignore it, but even as he reached the designated school, he still felt the presence. The violet-eyed teen refused to turn around, he didn't feel like meeting any bullies, and then getting suspended on his first day. He smirked to himself.

::Heh, that'd be a show for my new teachers. They'd get to watch me send some idiot to the hospital after only five minutes…::

The other man leaned against a tree, observing the younger in the shadows. He tilted his head and stepped out from the dark shade as Yugi entered the school, revealing his crimson eyes and tri-colored hair. It was Yami. He'd gotten himself and Seto special amulets that did the opposite of the locket he gave Yugi.

"Father! Please! I really do love him; I want to see him again!"

The King glanced at his son, his similar red eyes softening slightly. "Alright by me, Yami, just ask you're mother."

The prince looked at the ebony-haired woman beside the king with pleading eyes. "Please, Mother? Just me and Seto?"

"Of course my dear. If it is your true hearts' desire. You and Seto shall be able to become human."

The Queen of the Waters handed her son two amulets, one forest green, and the other dark violet. Yami's eyes softened as he realized the second locket was the color of his beloved's eyes. He hugged his parents and swam off to Seto.

Yami grinned, tracing his silky smooth fingers over the delicate violet gem. He couldn't wait to win Yugi's heart again. He felt a tap on his shoulder, noticing it was Seto.

"Hello Seto."

"Yeah, hello to you too Yami. Nice choice of clothing…"

Yami laughed and faced the other. He was wearing a cobalt blue, silk shirt with black jeans and a dark navy trench coat. He nodded approval of the clothing and grabbed Seto's hand, pulling him into the school.

The blonde teacher smiled at all of her students, her green eyes smiling happily. "Hello class! Today we have three new students!"

Yugi was startled to hear there was three. Wasn't he the only one? He stayed frozen in the doorway, not noticing the other two behind him.

"They are Yugi Motou, Yami Atemu, and Seto Kaiba!"

Yugi nodded and sat down, but was stunned when he saw the other two.

:It's Yami and his priest! How did they become human?! Why are they here in the first place?!::

Yugi took a seat next to a tall blonde boy with honey-brown eyes. The boy tapped Yugi on the shoulder and waved. Yugi's eyes lit up.

"Joey?! How did you-?!"

The blonde laughed. "We all came here a week before you. Do you think we'd let a friend leave without us?"

Yugi beamed at his childhood friend, the glanced at everybody else in the room. He spotted Tea, Duke, Tristan, Serenity, Ryou, Merik, Mai, and Ishizu. He waved at them. They all grinned and waved back, winking and holding up notes. Duke's note simply said: Yo Yugi!

He nodded at the green-eyed man and pulled out a piece of paper, writing on it.

Yo, Duke. What's up? I was really surprised to see all of you guys here. Well, should we meet at lunch?

Yugi and his friends sat through six periods, finally reaching their last class. Yugi was not among them; it was his free period. He sighed and leaned again the bathroom wall, closing his eyes. He didn't hear the door open. The male made his way to the sinks where Yugi was.

"I'm sorry, I didn't trick you."

Yugi nearly jumped and opened his eyes, revealing sparkling violet. "Y-Yami? Leave me alone," the teen looked at the floor. "You don't love me…"

Yami tried to hold in a sob, silently crying, a few tears slid down his cheeks. "Yugi…I…I do love you….Ever since I met you. Seto's just a heartless bastard; don't listen to him!"

Yugi looked up to see the tears pouring from the other's beautiful crimson eyes. The sight wrenched at Yugi's heart. "Oh gods Yami…Do you mean it? I didn't mean to make you…"

Yami nodded embarrassedly, reaching his hand up to wipe away the salty liquid, only to have it pushed down by the younger boy. Yugi gently kissed away the tears, tasting the sweetness of Yami's skin. He smiled softly as he pulled back, admiring his work, as well as seeing the prince's eyes shine with happiness.

"Yami…I thought that you agreed with Seto. I know I was foolish…I nearly killed myself."

The now-human-merman nodded. "You almost gave me a heart attack. I thought you were going to drown!"

Yugi smiled, muttering a small apology. He was surprised yet again as the elder passionately kissed him, driving all coherent thought from the eighteen-year-old. Lost in the moment, the two didn't see somebody else enter.

"OH MY GODS! YUGI! WHY ARE YOU KISSING ANOTHER GUY?!"

Yugi hastily pulled away, blushing furiously. Duke and Tristan were standing there, gawking at their friend from Tokyo. Yami noticed his lover's nervous demeanor.

"I'm Yami; Yugi's boyfriend, do you have a problem with that?" his eyes glimmered maliciously.

The two shook their heads and allowed Yami to pull the other teenager out of the boys bathroom. Duke was still feeling perturbed by that look he was given at lunch. He motioned for Yugi to sit with him and the others, but then he noticed how he looked behind him and back. He held up his finger meaning `one minute' to the people behind him and walked over to Duke.

"Yo. Do you guys mind if I bring two people over here to eat with us?"

Nobody at the table objected. Duke then shrugged. "Alright then."

Yugi smiled. "'Kay. Be right back!"

He almost ran back over to two people. Duke squinted his eyes to see who they were. One he recognized, Yugi's boyfriend-Yami. But who was the brown-haired one? He watched as they sat on each side of Yugi at the table. Yugi grinned at Yami.

"These are my friends from Tokyo. They heard I was leaving and moved here a week before I did. That's Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, Tea Gardner, Ryou Bakura, and Joey Wheeler."

Seto's eyes lingered on the blonde named Joey, he held out his hand. "I'm Seto Kaiba."

Joey shook hands with the cobalt-eyed male, feeling giddy at the touch.

::What the hell is wrong with me? Why am I acting like this around one of Yug's new friends?::

Seto, not to seem suspicious, shook hands with everyone else too. He smirked at Yugi. He'd apologized to the Prince's Love earlier. Yugi then came up with an idea.

"Yami? Will you and Seto come to my house?"

Yami blinked in surprise. "Of course, Aibou."

Yugi turned red at the pet name Yami called him in front of his friends. Seto just chuckled softly, nodding as well.

::I can't wait to see Yugi's home!:: was all Yami thought before the bell rang for their next period class.
