Not feeling very happy right now, because both mediaminer.org and fanfiction.net refused to let my italics show up!! Or to be exact, they let some of them show up and don't let the others show up. >_<

Uhh…that was some time ago. Now I'm happy, because my EXAMS are OVER!!!! Thank you so much for waiting patiently for this second chapter!!!

Yes, and thanks to everyone who reviewed for reviewing! It means a lot to me…thanks so much!!

All right…on with the story!

Are you really an angel?

Pain…and more pain…that was the first coherent thought that Suno had as she came back to conscious world. Opening her eyes, she found that she had to blink several times before she could see clearly. Even then, the entire place was so dark that she could barely see. It took her several minutes to realise that both her hands and feet were bound, that someone had tied a rope around her waist and was carrying her as such, leaving her in a most uncomfortable position, and that they were flying through the air.

`Wait a minute,' she thought suddenly. `If it's dark, and we're flying, that means…HOW IN THE WORLD DID THE DEMONS CATCH ME?!' She began to struggle, and immediately received a sharp tug on the rope around her waist.

"Stop struggling Angel, there's no point doing that," a distinct female voice hissed from above her. "You're our prisoner now, so live with it."

"At least she's awake. I knew we didn't need to use so much of that powder. Yami wouldn't have been happy to receive a sleeping prisoner." The second voice sounded much more gentle and soothing. "If you're tired of carrying her, I'll do it."

"Sure," the first voice grunted back, and Suno felt herself being shifted from one pair of hands to another. "Just don't let her get away."

"Get away? Are you trying to suggest that my bonds aren't tight enough, or that I can't carry as much weight around as you?"

"Hey, you said it, not me."

"Why you!…"

Suno slowly tuned out the conversation above her, and began thinking back to what had happened. She remembered that distinct pain in her neck that had come when she was about to go back to her home. `So that must have been these two demons,' she thought. `Oh no, poor Yugi! He's going to be so worried…and there's no way I can tell him where I am! Not that I'll probably live long enough to be able to do that anyway…' she added bitterly. `I wonder why they didn't just kill me right then? Since they are heartless beasts, they would have just done that…they probably want to torture me to get information out of me…'

Or do they really?

Suno started. It was those voices again; the ones that had been coming to her so often. Now what were they trying to tell her?

Are you sure you know everything about Demons? Are they really as heartless as you think? Remember Suno…remember who they really are…remember who you are…

Suno shook her head slightly. Now THAT really didn't make sense.

"Suno? Suno, where are you?" Yugi's voice rang through the house as he entered through the front door. "Suno? If you're hiding, you better come out because we have to go meet the others now!"

There was no reply, and Yugi felt slightly annoyed. He had had a long day, talking with all sorts of council members on how to deal with the Demons, and he was having a slight headache. "Alright, I'm coming to find you!" he called out, a hint of annoyance showing through his voice.

However, as he combed through the house, his annoyance slowly changed into fear and apprehension. Finally he could take it no longer. Running out of his house, he flew towards the square where he knew his friends were. The moment he landed, the question burst out of his mouth. "Where's Suno?!"

---------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------

Suno's eyes jerked open again as she felt the already familiar tug on her waist. There was finally some light around as they approached what seemed to be the residential area. Rows upon rows of houses met her gaze, and she soon found that she was being carried towards the largest of them all.

The two demons finally reached the house, and the one who had been carrying her dropped her unceremoniously onto the ground. As though someone had been watching for them, the door immediately opened and light poured out. Suno could only see a tall silhouette in the doorway before she was picked up once again and shoved through the door.

"It's about time you returned," someone inside called out. Suno had to blink several times before her eyes adjusted to the light, and then she could only gape at the speaker.

`He looks so much like Yugi!' she thought in surprise. `They could be twins!'

The Yugi look alike smirked at her, and she retrieved enough of her common sense to close her mouth and avert her eyes from him.

It was a bad mistake. Standing just behind him was someone else whom she recognized. "Ryou?" she couldn't stop the word from coming out of her mouth, and she gasped suddenly when she realised her error.

Immediately, one of the Demons who had carried her over slapped her. "Don't talk until someone asks you a question!" she growled at the Angel, and Suno could only glare back at her angrily.

"That's enough Mai," the Yugi look alike, who was obviously their leader, said. Standing up from his chair, he began to walk towards her, and Suno only barely managed to stop herself from shaking in fear.

"There, there, there's no need to be frightened. The only reason I want you here is to hold you hostage. Now, I'm sure that the leader of your group is very close to you, aren't I right?" The surprise in Suno's eyes confirmed his suspicions, and he smirked again.

"Well, don't worry so much. I'm not going to kill you; I just want your leader to make some…agreements with me. You will be kept here until he submits to our demands. If not…" he held up a finger and made a slicing motion at his neck. "Then you die."

Suno was about to snap a remark back when another voice cut in. "Oh, quit the dramatics already, Yami," it said; a comment that caused Yami to glare half-heartedly at the speaker. "What's all the commotion about?"

Suno felt the Demons behind her part to allow another girl through. The newcomer glanced down at her-and then began to stare.

Suno was no better. All she could do was stare back for what seemed to be the millionth time that day.

---------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------

Yugi clutched his head in desperation. His group of friends, he included, had searched all around the rows of houses, looked in every building-they had even looked into places Yugi was CERTAIN Suno would never go to. But it was all in vain-Suno seemed to have disappeared into thin air.

A hand clamped onto his shoulder, and Yugi looked up to see both Jou and the brown-haired Honda standing behind him. "Don't worry Yug, we'll find her yet," he said with a reassuring smile. "I'm sure she couldn't have gone far."

"I hope you're right, Jou," Yugi replied with a weak smile. "But I don't want to take any chances. Send for Keith immediately," he ordered, and Honda nodded, flying off immediately.

Jou gaped at his friend. "You're going to use the Legion to search for her?" he asked in surprise.

The Leader of the Angels nodded grimly. "I'm not taking any chances. Would you mind if I send your sister together with Ryou to search the mortals' world?"

Jou shook his head. "I'll go call them for you," he said softly, leaving to do just as he said.

Yugi nodded his thanks after his friend, and then turned to survey the vast expanse of clouds before him. `Please Suno, please be safe…'
