Summary: Seto goes over to Jou's house (Jou and Seto are best friends), but got more than he wante0mn pl, d.
because he has a cold and finds out that it was more than he wanted.
Author's note: Maybe I might make this a one-shot. If I have enough reviews,
it might not be a one-shot. I might even throw in a Halloween special.
Warning: Some Oc's. Boyxboy kissing, I might have some grammatical errors; I
may have to repeat myself, because it's a habit, and old habits die-hard! My
grammar may be different from the usual American,' talk' because I'm from a
totally different continent, if you have criticism, I can take it, and it's
okay. Just warning you^_^
Chapter Summary: Seto goes to Jou's house
In class, Seto Kaiba wasn't 'reading' he was actually listening in on Yugi
tachi's conversation. 'Where the hell did that Jou go to?' as if Yugi was
reading his mind, Yugi said "Jou has a fever and cold, I hope he makes it by
tomorrow, because we have the baby project tomorrow". Tristan and Duke
groaned. Tea just said "guys lighten up, it will be fun I hope I get paired
up with someone cute, like Jonathan”. She was referring to the guy seating
right behind Kaiba. He facial features were, that of an angel, Red hair with
sparkling jade eyes with a muscular body to go with it.
Tea was practically drooling, and Yugi had to snap her out of it, “Tea!
Hello, are you still in there? Tea!" Tea snapped her head to Yugi "Sorry, I
guess I got a little carried away". Yugi snorted "a little". Tea pouted
"okay, a lot, are you happy?" Yugi answered. "Why yes I'm very happy thank
you". Duke and Tristan were laughing their heads of, at this scene. The
whole day went by surprisingly fast for the gang, but not for Seto Kaiba. He
had no one to 'play' with, because his favorite little puppy wasn't there.
(A/N: awww...) At the end of school, he made his way to Yugi and asked,
"where the hell is the dog?" Yugi looked surprised and Tristan was about to
plummet Kaiba to the ground, "Hey! Kaiba you can't just come here and say
that, besides what do you care?" Otogi piped in "yeah what do you care
Kaiba, besides having that laptop everyday". Kaiba managed to get his anger
under
Control and answered his voice very low and dangerous, that you would
urinate there and then "Um… Here Kaiba that could answer your questions".
Kaiba looked down at his hands and saw an address 'that voice always gets
them going'. Kaiba didn't know where Jou lived because he just moved, from
his 'brothers' house, to live on his own and always didn't have the time to
ask him because of work and his friends.
Yugi-tachi and his group didn't know, Jou and Kaiba were very good friends,
ever since, the orphanage.
Inside, the orphanage, there were four little Kids, Jou, Seto, Serenity and
Mokie. They were playing dodge ball, they were the very best friends, they
practically do everything together, they were inseparable, nobody dare to
separate them because it was impossible, they fought for each other till the
end, from that day on they, agreed that no one will separate any of them.
That is until Gozaboro came into their lives... that is...
FLASHBACK: -Seto's P.O.V
Seto could never forget that day...it was a normal day for Jou, Serenity,
Mokuba and I. Until some guards suddenly, took position on the door, of the
orphanage, they were there for some several minutes until a guy with neat
gray hair, an expensive red suit and was glaring at anyone and anybody, in
his path. By the looks of it the guy was very Opulent. He searched around
the orphanage looking for something in particular or rather someone; he then
spotted me, and smirked, a very cold smirk that could chill you down to your
spine. I gulped. I was very afraid, and then he suddenly came near me, aware
that everybody was watching, he raised my chin and he looked into my eyes,
with those cold, so very cold, gray eyes and said in a cocky and relaxed
manner “I want to adopt you, my boy, to take over Kaiba Corp. you know that
big building over there? “I nodded. I mean come on who wouldn't recognize
the 10ft tall building of Kaiba Corp., anyone would. He insisted on adopting
me, so when he dies he would have a heir to Kaiba Corp., but instead of
adopting only me, he adopted I and my brother, because of one game of chess,
the deal was if he wins, he would, adopt only me, and if I win he would have
to adopt, I and my brother. He thought about it for a moment before
agreeing. When I beat him to his own game, I didn't know my fate would be
sealed, and I would probably live a very miserable life to the end, but Jou
tried so hard to protect me, and I pushed him away, since that day, I
couldn't forgive myself or anyone for that matter, but I knew one day, I and
Jou will cross paths, once more, and we eventually did, in Domino Japan, the
same place I got adopted, the same place I met Jou and his sister, and in
the same place, I saw him after 10 years

After School: Jou's House
As usual Kaiba's Limo drawled up to the entrance of the school gate, and
Kaiba slipped in the cool, leathery interior. He then instructed the Limo
driver to go the address in the card, he just gave him. Kaiba then thought
to himself 'I wonder how Jou's doing, I hope he didn't do anything stupid
like the last time'.
As they reached Jou's house, Kaiba was surprised, he thought 'wow, Jou
re-painted neat!' Kaiba smirked, Of course he has seen the picture of the
house but knew nothing of the location.
Kaiba was recently looking at a pent house with an additional flat connected
to it, he painted it a dark brown with a lighter brown for the additional
flat. It looked big enough, but not as big as the Kaiba mansion.
Kaiba ringed the bell once or twice before a girl, came to open the huge oak
door. Kaiba looked at the girl, and thought 'who in the world is she?'. The
girl suddenly spoke breaking the awkward silence. "who are you? What do you
want?" Kaiba blinked and said "I'm looking for Jounouchi Katsuya, is he
home?" Kaiba though to himself 'what the hell am I saying of course he is
home'.
"Yeah, he is here, just sit on the couch, anything to drink? I'll go get him
for you" Kaiba nodded and sat on the cream colored couch. The girl came out,
she looked remarkably like Jou, she had shoulder length blonde hair, puppy
dog bronze eyes, and she looked like she loved wearing black, cause she was
currently wearing, loose black pants with a black belly top, she had a few
piercing, on her left ear(10) and her right which is about 5. Other than
that she was firm and fine. She came out of the supposed bedroom and
beckoned to Kaiba "Come in I don't think he will be coming out any moment".
Kaiba walked into Jou's bedroom. The bedroom was huge, a big king size bed
was at the side of the luxurious looking bureau, in the middle of the room
was a big rug, covered in the red ayes black dragon. Then he had another
room, which Kaiba guessed was his study, which contained several book,
containing books, shelves and a laptop, nothing too fancy. All in all, Jou's
room looked satisfying, like any other clean teenager, would want it. Jou
finally came out of the bathroom, he was towel drying his hair, and he was
wearing loose dark blue jeans, and a silk black button down shirt that was
left opened. Kaiba quite frankly gawked at Jou. Jou finally turned his head,
and said " Seto what are you doing here?". Kaiba managed to get his gawking
meter at a minimum, and said "Just came here to see how you were doing Jou,
is that so wrong?.” Jou just smiled, Kaiba only reduces his ten-foot wall
around the people he loved. When Jou sees him glaring at other people who
didn't know who he was very well, Jou managed to get his hysterics under
control. "What the hell Jou, who is that girl in the living room? "*Sneeze*
Jou muttered more to himself than Kaiba "great, not again, Katelyn! Katelyn
Anne Flynn! Get your ass down here, right now" Kaiba looked shocked.'
Okay...that was weird, that's probably the girl's name'. I guess Kate didn't
hear, at all and Jou peaked up the intercom and pressed the #2 and the
intercom in the Living room was ringing. She finally picked it up, and she
answered "yeah, Jou what is it?" Jou answered sneezing "I *sneeze* want
*sneeze* some *sneeze* tissue *sneeze* paper *sneeze*". Kate rushed and got
some tissue and handed it to Jou. "Here, this might help, and don't get out
of bed" she glared at him, Jou nodded, and lied down, and looked at Kaiba,
she said. “He can't be trusted, just make sure, he doesn't get out of bed.”
Kaiba nodded, but he knew exactly what she meant by that. Jou rested his
head on one of the pillows, and glared half-heartedly at Kate. Kaiba broke
the silence "okay...Jou lie down and I won't have to bind you to the bed,
again, and you still haven't answered my question, from earlier, n remember".
Jou glared at Kaiba and he snickered. "Oh… she is just my help, she z lives in
the flat next to mine, and she is really great around the house, her name is
Katelyn Anne Flynn, but I just call her Kate she is from America, she's been
by my side since I was adopted.” Jou put his head back down on the pillow,
to get comfortable. Jou patted the side of the bed for Kaiba to sit on,
Kaiba joined him trying not remember the bad days after the adoption, and
next thing he knew a brown fur, blue eyed cat jumped on his lap. Kaiba
yelped and hit his butt, on the hardwood floor. Jou was laughing and Kaiba
was glaring at the cat, so was the cat, so know their having a glaring
competition. Jou stopped laughing and helped Kaiba up on the soft cushy bed
filled with many pillows. 'Is this guy gay or what? oh my gosh look at the
pillows this guys has' they were about 20 pillows lying about neatly. Kaiba
whipped his head at Jou, and saw him paying with the cat, "so…what's his
name?" Jou answered still playing with the cat "Seth, he is a stray, I found
him when I was on my way home, and I picked him up and he was just the
cutest little thing ever! and I brought him home, I kind of named him after
you, 'Seth' 'Seto', cause he is always glaring at anybody he doesn't
recognize and he only has love for the people he can trust" Kaiba's lips
formed and "oh". Kaiba suddenly whipped his head, towards Jou, suddenly
becoming very serious. “Jou remember, don't do anything stupid, you got me.”
Jou lolled his head, and Kaiba lifted his chin up, to look at Jou, looking
into that honey eyes promise?” Jou nodded and said promise. And they pinky
sweared. Kaiba laughed “I can't believe were still doing those kiddy stuff,
a pinky swear ha! Jou wasn't laughing but told Kaiba It is not childish,
it's just a way to assure I won't do something, stupid, like last time,
okay?” “Yeah. Jou suddenly looked like he was lost in thought, he remembered
very clearly of what he did, Kaiba, Mokuba and his sister, had to save him
from that life of dreadfulness, and to pick up the pieces, Jou sighed 'I
don't think Seto and the others are gonna pick up the pieces next time if I
do something that dangerous again'. He dug at the memory, and he remembered
quite clearly...
FLASHBACK:-JOU'S P.O.V
After Seto got adopted, I stopped doing anything an 8 year old would do like
playing, having some fun and other stuff, I cut my connection through
everybody, even my sister. She became very upset, and since she had nobody
else, to comfort her, she cried her self to sleep, and I couldn't do
anything to help, as if I couldn't even help myself. So about 5 years later,
another rich guy, Seigfreid, adopted me
Von Shrauder, of the Shrauder Corp. (A/N: Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Championship). He
was one weird, French guy, he even had a brother, we never had to duel or
anything he just wanted, someone to keep his brother company. He wanted to
beat Kaiba Corp. to the fullest and didn't want any of his enemies to
capture, his brother for ransom. My life with him was great, I had
everything, I wanted but, I didn't have Seto and he when he found out the
connection between I and Seto, he tried to beat it out of me, to Know Seto's
weakness, and defeat him, to take over the company. I refused, I would do
anything for Seto, but I didn't know that if, Seigfreid takes over Kaiba
Corp. it would be a good thing for Seto, to lift the heavy burden of Seto,
but I did the opposite I put on more weight for Seto by defeating Seigfreid
in a duel, of course, Serenity didn't know that every day Seigfreid would
beat me to oblivion until I go unto the world of unconsciousness, but the
one thing I learned from seigfreid, is that you have to be happy for the
people that are closest to you even if it means that you should put up a
facade. I still abide to that rule, till today, but Seto, Mokuba and
Serenity, even Kate are not fooled, anymore. Except for my friends. I admit
they are completely oblivious in this kind of situations. Anyway, as I was
saying, Seigfreid 'punished' me so much that, I started cutting/slitting my
wrists and it got worse, one night I had had enough, I decided to Kill
myself, with a Winchester rifle, I wanted to blow my brains out because I
was tired of this world I lived in, luckily, before I even put the gun to my
temple, my sister, barged in and saved me, from my horrid life. She tried to
talk sense into me, for the few seconds it didn't work, but she came closer
to me and she slowly put the gun down, by the time it happened, she and I
were crying, that's when the bastard came in and looked in shock of what I
wanted to do, he took me out of his home, and sent me to a mental
institution for another 5 good years, that's were I met Seto again, it seems
he was there just for the therapy, the first time we met, it was an awkward
moment, but we eventually got over our foolishness, and tried to make up the
10 yrs that was lost behind, he made me feel better and sometimes he brought
Mokie with him and I felt like they were my family again, that I belonged,
to the world, again with people that actually loved me.
END JOU'S P.O.V
Seto was waving his hands furiously, on jou's face and Jou suddenly snapped
his face, so hard that it hit Set's palm and they fell on each other, Jou
was giggling and Seto was stiff, 'well, this is an awkward position' Seto
blushed and hid his head on one of Jou's pillows which smelled faintly like
vanilla, but Jou didn't notice. Jou turned his head to look at Seto and Seto
looked at him, Jou was entranced with Seto's blue eyes, a cerulean blue,
it's like the ocean waves, during the sunrise. The next thing they knew they
were leaning in and their lips touched in an exhilarating kiss, Jou was
momentarily shocked and he gasped, Kaiba had the time to slip in his tongue,
Jou moaned. 'hmmm..he tastes like green sour apples' Jou thought. He now
wrapped his hands around Kaiba's neck, and Kaiba wrapped his hands around
Jou's waist bringing him closer, 'unn… He tastes like Caramel & honey,
so...good' Kaiba groaned. They were moaning and groaning,
They didn't notice Kate's smirking face at the doorway of Jou's bedroom.
They finally broke of gasping for some air; Seto and Jou looked at Kate and
they both blushed. She said naturally and relaxed “So guys you want to tell
me something?” They both turned as red as a tomato can get. They muttered
something inaudible “Nothing.” Kate smiled. “Thought so.” She turned and
left the room for them to think it over. Kaiba broke the silence, “So what
now?” Jou grinned and laced his fingers with Kaiba's “It's okay, we don't
have to start a relationship right at the moment, we could just go on ;; date.”
Kaiba nodded “I can deal with it, but I hope the tabloid doesn't know
anything about this, because if they do, my company is in big trouble and
how in the hell am I gonna tell Mokuba, and you have to tell Serene at some
point.” Jou smirked. “It's okay, Mr. Big-Shot, I'll tell Serene but I don't
know about my friends though, I'm worried about that.” Kaiba nodded. He
suddenly got a brilliant idea. “Jou I'm having this big Halloween bash, you
could invite your friends and that could be our first date, that is after
trick or treating.” Jou grinned “Good idea, Seto.” Suddenly Kaiba ho;; p pped of
the bed and pecked Jou goodbye telling him that he is gonna give out the
invitations, later this month around the 29th of October. Jou went back
inside his house to see Kate grinning ear, to ear, because it rarely ever
happened. “What's wrong Kate? Are you sick or something?” “No, so you
finally managed to hook up with THE Seto Kaiba, must be nice.” Jou blushed,
going into his room and closing the door, thinking about Seto Kaiba.
Author's notes: I decided NOT to make it a one-shot, and this thing costs me
about 12 pages, and I am sick, unfortunately I have the chicken pox, and it
won't go away and it's scratchy! Damn chicken pox! Anyway, this is a fic to
make up for the other lame ones I've written.
