If only the weather here didn't suck so bad, I'd be able to deal with myself.... still in the process of recording a demo and I think it's coming along great.

Here we go!

&nb sp;   "Class, settle down!" The teacher of Domino High's Literature class stood behind his desk, facing a class of seniors. "Today, we have a new student coming in. Her name is Sadie Wilson, and she's from the US."

The girl walked in quietly, taking her seat behind none other than Yugi Motou.

        "Hi, I'm Yugi."

        "I'm Sadie. What's up?"

"Nothing. So, you want me to show you around?"

        "I'd like that."

Yugi nodded, smiling brightly upon her before resuming the lesson. The girl seemed nice enough. He figured that since his friend Tea wasn't going to be in lunch today, seeing as she had a guidance appointment, Sadie could sit in her seat.

&nb sp;   Tea Gardener was curious as to why she had a guidance appointment. It really made no sense. She wasn't getting into trouble, her grades were all high A's and she was already aware that she was going to NYU. So what did they need her for?

"Miss Gardener?" The secretary asked her. "You can go in now."

Tea nodded her thanks and continued into the small closet-sized room that was her guidance counselor's office.

"Tea, take a seat." The girl looked at her counselor. Miss Adams didn't look mad. But then again, her history teacher, Mr. Walski was next to her. They were a couple. So, they could be double ganging her.

"Don't worry," Mr. Walski said, "You're not in trouble."

Inside her mind, Tea laughed heartily. They didn't understand the meaning of getting into trouble. "Oh, good," She lied.

"We were just curious about something. During our parent teacher meetings, we brought up the viewing of a film that the entire senior class would watch the last three periods of tomorrow, which none of us here at Domino High, to include the teachers had seen."

"How does this concern me?" Tea looked between the two. Her Aunt had mentioned this to her. It couldn't be...

"Your aunt mentioned that we should ask you personally if you were comfortable with people viewing it, seeing as you are the class president. It's a real life story about two thirteen year olds in the USA."

"Operation: Save Riku," She said aloud.

        "Yes. Do you mind?"

"Do I mind? No. Go ahead." Tea smiled. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Now the guys will know what the story is on my brother. And why I'm not going back to the US until I get older.

"I'm glad, it will be a great learning experience for all of us, also, I think it will make a good debate."

        Tea nodded, and was dismissed.

A good debate? How about a good laugh when I see how your faces look at the end.

&n bsp;    When the last period of the day rolled around, Tea found that there was a new girl, who, starting tomorrow would be in all of her classes. Apparently, it was some sort of request made by her parents.

"Miss Wilson, take a seat next to Miss Gardener."

Tea was suddenly forced out of her thoughts and looked up.

"SADIE!" The brunette jumped up and hugged the blonde, who returned the hug, realization striking her.

"Oh. My God! I can't believe it!" The blonde smiled, inspecting Tea. "Look at you. You cut your hair."

"Well, it still goes back under that hat I-"

"Girls!" The teacher looked scoldingly at Tea only."Get in your seats!" After things had calmed down, the teacher continued. "Tomorrow, we will be watching a film, which has been approved by our rather... excited class president."

"Which one?" Sadie asked, hand in the air.

        "Operation: Save Riku."

"Really?" Sadie looked at Tea. Apparently, no one here knew anything about their past lives. They were going to find out much more than they had expected. Tea apparently was about to give away their secrets. Both had never seen the movie, but just seeing parts of what was on that camcorder was going to make the two of them very well known around school. And apparently get rid of that preppy reputation that Tea had now earned around school. Sadie looked at Tea again, but her eyes were diverted to an object in her lap.

        A white bandana.

        Sadie smiled.

Wasn't tomorrow supposed to be a dress down day?

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

&nbs p;   Tea was on the phone still, against her aunt's wishes. It was eleven, and despite the fact that there was school in the morning, Sadie and Tea hadn't stopped talking since nine.

"So, dress like we used to tomorrow. Please. Don't wear any of that preppy shit."

"I know Sadie." Rustling could be heard on her end. "How about a plain black tee, dark wash jeans, American Eagle of course, and that oh so buena black hat."

"Good, don't forget the black eyeliner.... basically, dress how we really should."

        "Yeah."

"What are you going to do about your bangs?"

"I never told anyone this, but technically, I don't have bangs. I was supposed to get a hair cut a few weeks ago, but I didn't. My hair goes behind my ears, and it looks like it used to."

"Buena! I can't wait until tomorrow."

"Yeah, me neither. Bring your bandana."

"I never go anywhere without it, just in case. I brought it with me to camp."

        "Same here."

"Alright, I'm going to bed. The dynamic duo makes it's debut in the morning."

"You got it Sadie. I'm so glad you're back. This year will be kick ass!"

        "Damn straight."

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Tea met up with Sadie, before school. They planned to go to class early and look over the video. They wanted to see what was cut from what they now called their life story. The girls were sitting out in the courtyard loitering when a familiar person walked by.

"Well if it isn't the friendship girl."

"Sure Kaiba, sure." Tea noticed his glance suddenly become refocused on her.

"What the hell happened to you?"

"Nothin'," Sadie interrupted. To Tea, she whispered, "Is he that guy who...?"

"Yes." Tea quickly tried to steer Sadie in the opposite direction, but Kaiba grabbed her shoulders. Tea however, shoved her way out of his grip and laughed a little. "Kaiba, nothing happened to me, I'm just being a little experimental, you know?"

Kaiba's eyebrows raised quizzically. "And I thought you lost a game of truth or dare where the mutt asked you to dress as a slut."

"Things aren't always as they seem." Tea and Sadie walked away, rounding the corner.

"I thought you liked him? He did-"

"He also nearly destroyed by friend's grandfather. And he's got family issues..."

        "And you know about them?"

"Yes. I was with the guy at the time. He does have a sweet side."

"And you know you owe him."

"I saved his brother, then he saved me, but he saved my brother so I guess that.... okay, so I do owe him," Tea admitted quietly.

"And he's going to find that out today."

"I guess, but it's not like my criminal record won't score me a few points."

"Even so," Sadie commented, looking out upon the campus from their position on the front steps, "You won't be to favored among your teachers once they find out."

"I guess. They can make Kaiba class president then." Both laughed and emerged into the building, as rain began to dance to the ground.

(I was thinking of stopping here, but I guess you guys deserve more, even if you don't review.... which you should...)

;Tea sighed and waited anxiously for the beginning of their life story. How every class had a copy of the video, she'd never know. That couldn't have been cheep. Sadie sat next to her, meeting her gaze as the teacher approached the class.

Both girls' clothing had been a slight alarm to many students, who were wondering what reason they had for such angsty clothing. Kaiba, who smirked every time they passed, now noticed the American Eagle Logo on the back of their pants.

Wonder why their wearing American pants..... wait. Why do I care? And why is Tea acting so shady today? And why is she hanging with the new girl when she could be with the mutt and company. AND JESUS CHRIST, WHY DO I CARE?

Of course, Kaiba wasn't there yesterday, so he had no clue. God forbid those executives wait...

"Class, take your seats!" The entire class did as they were told and sat down. Sadie looked over to Tea, and smiled reassuringly. Tea looked at her, flashed a thumbs up and looked over to Joey and Yugi, who were in the row ahead. They were joking around. She looked behind her, to where Kaiba sat.

        "You guys ready?"

"Yeah, why ya askin' Tea?" Joey asked. Tea smiled at Joey.

"I heard that this was supposed to be a real tear jerker," She said.

"I suppose you'll need these then," Kaiba said, passing her a box of tissues.

"Thanks for the concern, but it won't be necessary for me. I already know what happens." She passed the box up to Yugi and Joey, who would probably cry after they found out that it was their little deed."

        "What's with you?"

"Excuse me?" Tea turned around to face the elder of the two Kaiba brothers, and focused her eyes on him

"Hey, you know that hot new ceo of Kaiba Corp?"

"....to Gardener, are you in there?"

Tea shook her head violently, then blushed a slight rosy color. "Never mind."

Seto watched Sadie look at her, concerned. Something was up. And he'd find out what. As soon as they were done with the godforsaken movie.
