Chapter summary: The day starts off almost normal until a man steals Yami’s puzzle how can he get it back. What effects does will the missing puzzle put on his body.

The day started off nicely enough. Mr. Mutou was busy swiping out side. He notices that a tall figure was coming into his view. “Ohayo Ojiisan (J1)” Seto said. “Ah Young Seto you’re here for Yami. You two sure leave earlier than the rest.” Mr. Mutou said. Seto nodded slightly. “It has to with Joey and Tristan other than that we would walk with them.” Seto said. “You can go ahead up Yami should be ready.” He told Seto and continued his work. Seto entered the games shop and took the stairs that leaded to where the other rooms where. Yami’s was the closest to the stairs.

Kind of with the Dark Magician Post on the out side of the door gave it away. Seto opened the door and picked in. “Kaiser (G1)?” He questioned. “I’m just fixing this chain on the puzzle Seto-kun you can wait a little bit long Joey and Tristan and Téa like to take there time when comes to going to school on Saturday (1). “What’s with the Chain?” Seto said. “I had a weird Dream that someone ripped it of my neck. Come to think of it I’ve been having a lot of dreams about the puzzle. I think it has some thing to do with my past. Since this has nothing to do with you we can get going before Joey and Tristan get here.” Yami said catching Seto gaze. Seto turned away and blushed. “Yeah let’s go.” Seto said.

He didn’t notice Yami standing in front of him. Yami cupped his cheek. “Something wrong itoshii (J2)? Yami said when Seto wouldn’t hold his gaze. “Nothing it’s nothing when can get going.” Seto said and stood up. Yami grabbed his bag and then both left running into his mother. “Well this is a surprise you’re leaving early on a Saturday.” She said. “Well I guess it a first time for everything.” Yami replied. “What did Joey and Tristan do now?” She knew him to well or so Yami Thought. “It’s to embarrassing to talk about. Yami grabbed Seto arm. “Well we need to leave before they come okay bye.” Yami said the last part quickly.

Seto was just pulled kind of pulled out the front door. Just as they started to walk Joey and Gang walked up. “Hey, Yam why are you going so early?” Joey asked. “Um… Seto has a project to finish.” Yami said. “Well wait and well catch up.” Tristan said. {Like for the seven gods of Egypt I’ll wait for you two to start a fight with Seto.} “We have to go right Seto.” Yami said. “Um… Yeah sure.” Seto replied. Yami and Seto turned the opposite way. Joey shrugged and yelled for Yugi to come down. “I’m ready…Hey Yami said he was walking with us.” Yugi said. “Kaiba and him just took off.” Téa said. [She sounds jealous.]

Yami was thinking {could these dreams be about my past. I know I’m not supposed to lose the puzzle but why there has to be a reason.} Yami looked up at Seto. “What’s wrong?” Seto asked he had caught Yami’s Gaze. “Nothing just thinking.” he said. “Stranger you looked troubled.” a robed fortuneteller. Yami and Seto stop. “Maybe I can be of some help Pharaoh.” he said. Yami’s eyes widened. “How did you know?” Yami said narrowing his eyes. “As I said I can be of some help. All I need is that item around your neck.” he said. “I wouldn’t do it.” Seto said. “He knows that I was Pharaoh Koibito (J3). Yami said. |“What Seto Kaiba is the Pharaoh‘s lover this is something I need what a fool playing right into my hands.” Marik Thought|

“Fine But I just have a bad feeling.” Seto said. He turned away from Yami he was embarrassed by what he said. Yami slipped the puzzle of and handed it to him. “I see this is now mine.” Fortune Teller said. He pushed the table so he could knock Seto into Yami. After being dazed for a second or two they sat up. “My Puzzle maybe when can still catch him. No, You go head to school Seto. I’ll be there.” Yami said helping him stand. “Kaiser, what if yo-muf.” Yami cut him off by placing to fingers to his lips. “No negative thoughts love I’ll be fine.” Yami said. “Still I’ll go get Yugi and the rest.” Seto said as he left. {I know Seto will be all right} Yami took off in the other direction. He turned in the alley. “What the an arrow. This fool wants me to follow him it is a trap. Well might as well.” Yami said.

Seto was running back toward the school when he and Bakura ran into each other. “Bakura?” Seto question. “Seto you look shaken up what’s wrong?” He asked. “Someone took Yami’s Puzzle.” Seto. “I know you go get Joey and the other and I’ll see if I can find Yami.” Bakura said. Yami Bakura waited for Seto to get a block away before he got out ring. “What was that stupid fool doing when he got his puzzled taken away? This must be a bad omen. Who ever is an enemy of Yami is an enemy of mine.” Bakura said. Bakura continued walking until he found the crystal ball. The M. Ring pointed down the alley. Bakura stops and then follows the arrows. He stops to mix up the arrows. ‘Don’t want those fools following me.’ Bakura thought.

-Mean while-

{This is the last arrow.} Yami walked toward the old warehouse. Yami stopped when a wave of pain ran through his body. He dropped to his knees. {What’s this I’ve never felt anything like this before? It must have something to do with the puzzle. What would happen if someone were to break it?} Yami stood on shaky leg and continued to the warehouse. {I can sense the puzzles inside I feel a little better but I still feel weak.} Yami entered. A strange voice laugh and a spotlight revels the Puzzle fasten to the wall with an eyebolt. “My Puzzle!” Yami says. If you want your puzzle Pharaoh you’ll have to duel for it.” A voice says. More lights come on and Yami sees a dueling arena in the middle of the warehouse.

“Who are you? And what do you want with my Puzzle.” Yami questioned. “I want the puzzles power Fool.” The fortuneteller says. “But according to the ancient rules I must when it in a duel. I won‘t tell you who I am. Let‘s just say I‘m familiar with the Millennium items.” He continued. Behind him sat the holder of the Millennium Rod. |This is the pharaoh. Not what I thought, but I need to be careful he might have a stronger deck then I think. | “Alright Let’s go.” Yami said. {Maybe early was just something different I’ve taken off the puzzle before and nothing ever happen. Of coarse I’ve never felt pain like that.}

“I’ll start!” Yami drew. I’ll summon Celtic Guardian in Attack mode. That‘s it.” Yami says “My move I’ll place a monster in defense mode and end my turn.” The fortuneteller says. {I’ve heard that voice before, but I wonder if I should attack or not. He didn’t place any cards face down. But his monster could have a high defense or it has a hidden effect.} Yami closes his eyes. “Alright Celtic Guardian Attack.” Yami says. “You fool. My card face down was cyber jar.,” the fortuneteller says. “My monster are destroyed and now we must pick up five cards and summon any monster level 4 or lower in our hand.” Yami says.

They draw their five Cards. “I’ll summon a monster in defense mode.” Yami says. “I’ll summon Mechanical Chaser and Bugroth to the field.” the fortuneteller says. Yami started to chuckle. “What’s so funny Pharaoh?” The fortuneteller says. “I find it funny that I know who you are. It surprises me that it’s you Bandit Keith.” Yami said as he pointed at him. “What I don’t under stand Keith way would dress up and try and steal my Millennium puzzle.” Yami Continued. “I’m not Keith. Keith is just a mind slave.” Keith says. “Kore wa (J3)?” Yami stated bewildered. “I own a Millennium item. Like the other it has its own ability. Mine has the power to control others.” Keith said.

For a brief second the holder of the rod loses power other Keith. “Beat him Yami” He says. |Quiet fool I am you master. | Keith eyes go back to being blank once again. “Let’s finish this duel Yami so I can win my Puzzle. Now I’ll summon Machine King in attack mode, which increases its attack by 100 points for every machine monster on the field, raising its attack to 2500 points. Now destroy Yami’s Monster.” Keith yells. “My Silver fang. I’ll place a monster in defense mode. And end my turn.” Yami says. “ I’ll play Megasonic Eye and this raises my Machine king to 2600. Now attack!” Keith says. Yami face down defense monster was destroyed.

-Meanwhile-

Seto had just made it to school. “Seto-kun what’s wrong?” Yugi asked. “Yugi, Yami puzzle was stolen.” Seto said looking down at the smaller boy. “What?” Joey said. “He went after the guy and that was the last time I saw him.” Seto said. “Come on guys Yami’s going to need our help.” Yugi said. They all changed their shoes and left out the school not before a teacher stop them. “Shouldn’t you be in class?” He said. “Umm…Yami’s Very ill and he wants to see us one last time.” Tristan tells him. “Then you better get going to you sick friend.” The teacher said. They all left the teacher behind following Seto.

“We’re dead if he find out where lying.” Téa says. Seto, Yugi, and Tristan keep running. Joey starts to Tease Téa about lying to the teacher. “Ha, You are going to ruin you goody-goody act.” Joey said. “Shut up Joey.” Téa said. Joey started laughing. Seto stopped. He felt a slight pain in his chest. When he looked down at his shirt it was glowing. (It has to do with Yami that why I feel like this.) “Seto?” Yugi asked noticing the far off look. Seto blinked once and looked at Yugi. “Don’t worry about it Yugi” Seto said. They continued toward Yami and Keith.

-Warehouse-

“Quit Stalling Pharaoh.” Keith yelled. “Fine I’ll play Curse of Dragon and use Polymerization to fuse him with Gaia the fierce knight together to summon Gaia the Dragon champion. Attack his Mechanical Chaser Now!” Yami yelled. (YK: Life points. Yami: 2000 Keith: 1250.) “Ha, That lower you monster attack points by 100.” Yami finishes. “I’ll switch my weaker monster into defense mode. Then I’ll play the magic card Machine Conversion Factory to increase the attack and defense of my machine monster by 300 points. Now machine king attack his weak monster. Why don‘t you just hand over your puzzle Pharaoh? ” Keith said.

(YK: Life points Yami: 1800 Keith: 1250)

{All right I need something or I’ll lose this duel. Come I just have to believe in my deck.} Yami draws Summon skull. “ First I’ll play Makiu the magical mist this magic card will rust you machine monster and lower there attack and defense points. Next I’ll Play summon skull whose attack points rise to 3250. Now destroy his Machine King.” Yami says. |Hmm. I think I’ll have to use my best cards to draw the Pharaoh into submission. |

(YK: Life Point count Yami: 1800 Keith: 500)

Mean While-

Seto and the rest make it to the alley where Yami’s puzzle was stolen. “Did Yami Put these up?” Joey said. “He wouldn’t Have time” Téa says. “Did you notice that the arrows go in different directions?” Tristan said. “Now what?” Yugi asked. (That feeling is stronger down the alley.) Seto looked down at his shirt. It was glowing again. (Down the alley for some reason is calling me. Maybe Yami is in trouble.) Seto took off down the alley. “Kaiba where the hell are you going.” Joey yelled behind him. “Maybe he knows how the arrows work Joey.” Yugi said and started to go after Seto. Joey and the rest went after them.

-Warehouse-

“I’ll play this magic card Graceful Charity it allows me to draw three card and then discard two cards.” Keith says as he draws three cards from his sleeve. “Pharaoh you are done for. I’ll play Zera ritual magic card which allows me to offer those to monster on my field in order to summon Zera the mant. His attack point are 2800.” Keith says. Zera attacks summoned Skull his attack points lower after the card affect if gone.

-Out side-

Yami Bakura was out side of the warehouse his Millennium ring lead him too. “I sense Dark Magic afoot.

-Mean while-

Seto and the rest had just left the alley. “Now which way Kaiba.” Joey said Still thinking the brown haired boy was nuts. (The pain back must be around the corner.) “This way.” He said and they started back up. Yugi noticed the small glow of light coming over Seto shirt and that Seto’s face looked slightly pained. [Yami must be in trouble. He side him and Seto have a bond that he can’t even understand.]

YK: Well someone asked me to update on Heart of Seto Kaiba If you go to Adultfanfiction.net it’s finished there. I am playing to re-do that one. So those on MM.org and nFiction.com Heart of Seto Kaiba is going to be re-done. For those of you who know me on Fanfiction.net I’m going to post that when I get around to write it.

Anyway What will Happen in the next chapter. Maybe Yami will win his puzzle back and maybe Keith will win I for his master.

I’ll update quicker if I get a least 2 reviews.
