Chapter 6

Merrik (Is that how you spell it?) looked over at his owner Malik as he gazed at the television. "Well, what do you think about this?", Merrik asked, "Should we call the board together?",

Malik nodded. You see, Malik couldn't respond through speech, for he was mute and had been since he'd been a small child. It was his older sister's idea to get her brother a clone that could translate his body language into speech. It had been difficult for the scientists to do, but by installing the human speech as well as sign language into Merrik's DNA structure, it had been accomplished.

The board that Merrik was asking about was the Clone Rights Association, and this Yami and Yugi would make wonderful point for freeing the clones from human oppression. 'Yes, call the board together, we'll show them the tape we recorded.', Malik replied.

"I forgot you were recording this, Malik, what I'd do without you around, I wouldn't know.", Merrik replied.

'You wouldn't exist without me around, silly.', Malik replied.

So, the two started preparing for a big meeting, and though Yami nor Yugi knew it, they were soon to become part of a huge debate.
