Chapter 2: The gun powder
I smile as I walk into the room and notice that you are sitting in front of my chair, the fire already burning. My my, you are eager to learn more about these boys aren't you. I don't blame you they are an interesting bunch to follow. I smile as you grin up at me while I take my seat. I tease you for a moment pretending I don't remember where we are. I open the book and run my hand along the spine. I clear my throat and begin to read…
We go back to the mansion to find the teens still relaxing at the pool. Not having moved much. Yami is still relaxing with his crimson eyes closed at the steps, Bakura is still floating around on the float, and Marik has submerged under water, and it is still hot as hell. Yami groaned as he let himself slip deeper into the water. Bakura glanced curiously at his friend.
“'Oy Yami, what the fuck is wrong with you? You seem a little out of it,” Bakura said using his feet to kick through the crystal water towards Yami.
The floating ring hit Yami's chest and Bakura's forehead slightly tapped Yami's.
“Aw…..I feel so let out now,” Marik said emerging next to the pair.
The water dripped slowly from his face as he rang his spiky hair out. Bakura gave Marik a small peck on the cheek and then kicked him.
“Sucks for you,” Bakura said with mock pity.
Usually they would be more vulgar and rude but now in the privacy of Yami's home they didn't have to put up the barriers they had at school.
“So Yami, what's wasting your minimal amount of brain cells?” Marik questioned.
The male in questioned sighed, “My sister is moving in with us.”
The three remained silent for a moment. The only sound being their breathing and the splash of the waterfall at the end of the pool.
“Since when do you have a sister?” Marik asked pulling himself up to sit next to Yami.
“Since forever. She's my step sister now because my parent's divorced,” Yami explained staring moodily at his reflection in the chlorine filled liquid.
“Why in the seven hells is she moving in?” Bakura asked.
“I don't know, my parents said that she'd tell us in her own time because it wasn't our place to pry,” Yami answered.
The two jocks nodded.
“When is she coming?” Marik asked waving his hands around under the water.
“Today,” Yami said looking up at his two best friends.
“Can we meet her?” Bakura asked pushing himself slightly away from them and then pulling himself back.
“I don't give a damn whether you do or not,” Yami answered shrugging.
“Then we will meet her, why? Because I fucking said so,” Bakura said decisively.
“What's she look like?” Marik questioned.
“Damn and I thought you were one of us,” Yami said with a fake gasp.
“Shut up cock sucker. I'm gay and damn proud of it, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to know what you stupid sister looks like,” Marik said with a menacing glare.
The subject over his preference of lover was a sore spot for him. Although he had received support from his parents he still felt uncomfortable when someone questioned it or tried to pry in on it.
“Fine fine! When was the last time you got laid?” Yami shot as hit friend with an amused smirk.
“That's none of your business and stop avoiding the question,” Marik said with a glare.
“……truthfully, I don't know anything about her…we haven't seen each other since we were two,” Yami answered a small sadness creeping into his voice.
“Yami-chan! Your sister just called and she's at the airport! Get dressed!” Yami's mom yelled from her room on the second floor which faced the pool.
“All you questions are about to be answered,” Yami said sluggishly lifting himself out of the pool.
You're staring at me your eyes wide. You wonder how they can talk to each other like that. You are obviously shocked at their choice of words. I would have substituted them with kinder softer words but their story will not be tampered with. You wonder also aboutthe name of the chapter. I smirk knowingly and say I will tell you later and then you will understand. I close the book once again and you stare at me in confusion. Sorry but a chapter a day is what we agreed to and the chapter ends there. Next you ask about the Outcasts but I will reveal nothing. You bow and head out the door still pouting because of the chapters length…oh well nothing one can do but wait.
AUTHORS BLAH BLAH
This chapter was soo hard to write. I tried to make it longer but I didn't want to screw up what I was trying to say. I was hopping to have some variation with this story you know, long chapter followed by shorter chapter. Variation! ^__^ it's good you know, if all chapters are the same length I tend to bored sometimes and then don't pay attention to the entire story and I am way too lazy to go back and read it thoroughly. Well, hope you liked it!
