Sapphire stood quivering in fear of what she saw. She felt like she couldn't move, her body grew numb as though it felt like she got bit by a poisonous snake. So, she started to feel a little light headed for a moment as she started to faint. Out of nowhere, a with platinum blonde hair, purple eyes and dark skin, jumped out of a tree and landed right where Sapphire is laying on the ground unconscious. He was wearing a black shirt with a flaming skull on it, black leather pants, black boots, silver chains, a silver ring with a skull with fangs on it, and a black trench coat. He picked up Sapphire and carried her out of the graveyard to find a place to lay her down to rest.

 

 

Two hours later, she awoke from fainting and quickly stood up while the man said, “calm down! It's me Malik!” “Malik…” she trailed off and suddenly hugged him. She was happy to see him again and they start to passionately kiss. They broke the kiss before they sensed something. “What was that?” Sapphire asked. “It's… it's one off…” before Malik could say anything else, he smelled vampire blood, Valentine blood. Malik cursed softly as he leaped away to find someone with Valentine blood. Sapphire decided to follow him so that she will find the vampire who murdered Isis. “When I find Mai Valentine, she'll regret the day that she's ever met me!” Sapphire thought. One day, she will avenge Isis's death in Mai's hands.

 

 

Malik and Sapphire leaped on top of a building to see if someone was there. Sapphire sensed that this person was here. So, she quickly jumped down from the building, landed on the ground gracefully. She ran off to find Mai somewhere nearby. Malik looked around for Sapphire, for whom she was beside him a minute ago. “Where'd she go off to?” he asked.

 

 

Sapphire smelled the same vampire blood that Malik smelled earlier and she couldn't have gone far. Therefore, she looked around and saw someone with a black trench coat. “That might be Mai!” she thought. She ran toward the person but all of a sudden, the mysterious person disappeared in an instant. “Damn!” she cursed loudly. Unfortunately, she sensed that the person ran into the alley. She ran towards the alley and saw the familiar face that she will never forget. She had blonde hair, purple eyes, and pale skin. She is wearing a tight black leather corset with silver chains, tight black leather mini skirt, and black knee high boots. She was wearing a black trench coat the Sapphire recognized. She hissed at Sapphire and asked in a harsh tone, “What are you doing here?!” “I might ask you the same thing!” yelled Sapphire. Mai got a good look at Sapphire and said, “Well, well, look who's finally alive.” “What do you mean by that?” “It would've been better if you stayed dead for all I care!” replied Mai. “What do you mean by that?” asked Sapphire. “You see… it all started when you were born…” said Mai.
