Chapter 6: Facing Seth

Kurai ran out of the room and got the stairs, she just kept running, soaked, tired, angry, and frustrated Kurai ran up the stairs and followed the directions, until she came to another flight of stairs she felt the cold wetness of the pouring rain. The rain struck her tanned face like a lightning bolt strikes the sky, her clothes drenched her friends and family gone she had had it. Kurai ran up the solid stone stairs and came to the top of the palace only to see her friends, family, and her love…bounded.

“What the hell? What is this devilry? Kurai looked shocked as her father, Lan, the high priests and priestess…and Yuugi and his gang were also chained to a wall at the top of the palace with her. “Who did this?”

“I did this.” High priest Seth appeared as another bolt of lightening flashed and a loud rumble of thunder crossed the land.

“Why did you do this? How could you do such a thing to my people?

“You did this Kurai. You left and your father was too weak to hold on and so I took over…getting rid of anyone in my way.” Seth shot a blast of gold aura at Kurai, sending her into a rock wall. “I intend to kill you though. If Yuugi is restrained and the heir is dead then I take over as pharaoh.”

“Well…I will not! Let you do this!” Kurai's hair began to wave violently upwards and the rain got heavier, rain trickled down each other's faces. “Lets finish this.”

“You think this wise child? To cross ways with me? A high priest? Someone with more experience than you will ever have you lil bitch.” Seth surrounded himself with a golden aura and shot is at Kurai.

“I have heart.” Kurai's black aura deflects Seth's aura and it cuts Seth's left arm and he drops the Millenium Rod. “I will finish you off now.”

“Try me you little girl.” Seth looked at Kurai, she had the muscular build up if Atemu, the golden bangs of Atemu, the pharaonic garb of Atemu and the eye's of Atemu, but she didn't have his puzzle. “Continue little girl”

“Indeed!” Kurai lunged forward “This is for my father!” Kurai's hands glowed and she punched Seth in the stomach and then threw him into a wall.

“You will pay for that little girl!” Seth used his ability to move objects with his mind and through Kurai into Yuugi. Kurai got up and shot him with a sharp stone and put a deep cut into Seth's left thigh. Seth shot a huge piece of debris at Kurai's back and she leapt of out of the way and the debris fell off the top of the palace. The wind picked up and the rain came down even harder, it became almost impossible to see, but neither person moved from the spot at which they stood.

“Your pretty good for someone who just discovered their shadow power.” Seth smirked as Kurai got up from the ground; she was lying near the edge of the top.

“Shadow power? I had this power this whole time? Why didn't anyone tell me?” Kurai looked at the High priest's and the high priestess.

“Because no one knew.” Kurai stared at Seth and began to slowly back away from him. “No one knew you had powers because you're the heir to the throne, your powers are supposed to be draw from the millennium puzzle that is carried by your father. The puzzle will only increase your power…nothing else.” Seth walked forward making Kurai back up even more. “The funny thing is…you haven't even began to tap in to the powers you have……the amount you've shown is equal to that of one grain of sand……you have a lot more power to tap.”

“Stay away.”

“You can't show fear or your powers will seize to assist you and you will fall.” Seth charges at Kurai and stone all at which Kurai's feet were rested on gave way beneath her feet and Kurai disappeared into the foggy rain. Kurai's scream rang through the air as another bolt of lightning light up the sky and the mighty thunder crashed through the city of Cairo.

“YOU BASTARD!” Lan screamed out as he saw the woman he loved fall over the edge of the palace, he tried to break free, but his chains kept him from getting far.

“KURAI!” Atemu fell forward. “Not her too…death has also claimed the life of my daughter…Seth how could you do something like this…you... you... you BASTARD!

“You shouldn't be talked you piece of shit, you should have trained her more.” Seth ripped the millennium puzzle from Atemu's neck. “You are not worthy to wear this” Seth shoots an icy glare at Yuugi and Lan “Yuugi doesn't deserve to wear this any more than you do atemu.” Throws the millennium puzzle and it lands on the edge, the rain pours and pours and the droplets hit everyone with a sting. Seth just stared at his prisoners, he didn't notice a hand grab the edge of the palace where the puzzle was near, she pulled herself up with bruises, cuts and semi torn clothes.

“Seth you're forgetting something.” Seth turned around, shocked

“You just fell over the cliff how could you survive a fall like that?”

“My mother helped me.” Kurai grabbed the millennium puzzle. “ I remembered she wanted me to become what I was destined to be and to find my love…and she would never choose you Seth, never!”

“If Atemu hadn't won the war I would be your father!” The millennium puzzle glowed and so did Kurai's eyes, they turned bright crimson and she glowed black. “You lie! I am sending you back where you belong!”

Kurai disappeared and reappeared in front of Seth and punched a hole right through is body, blood was rained down and so it didn't travel far, but Kurai's arm was covered in it and blood stained her garments. The other just looked at amazement at what Kurai had done. She had not only sent Seth to the shadow realm, but she had killed him and had torn his body to pieces and she was surrounded by a black aura and her eye's were glowing black she had been growing fangs.

“Kurai-Chan.” Lan stared at her.

“Get away from me!!!”
