Recap: Kurai disappeared and reappeared in front of Seth and punched a hole right through is body, blood was rained down and so it didn't travel far, but Kurai's arm was covered in it and blood stained her garments. The other just looked at amazement at what Kurai had done. She had not only sent Seth to the shadow realm, but she had killed him and had torn his body to pieces and she was surrounded by a black aura and her eye's were glowing black she had been growing fangs.

“Kurai-Chan.” Lan stared at her.

“Get away from me!!!”

OOH! A cliffhanger…I will update soon.

Well lets see what happens next…

Chapter 7: Do you believe in life?

Kurai fell to her knees and grabbed her head, the back of her garment ripped open revealing her back down to the gold waist piece, there were two red mounds of skin on top of her shoulder blades.

“KURAI-CHAN!” Lan once again tried to break free from his chains, but was once again unsuccessful. As he looked on at his beloved Kurai, all he saw was a shadow of the bubbly and courageous girl he used to know, now all he see's is a hurt and in pain girl, lost and misunderstood.

The red amounts of skin started to draw blood black feathers began to rip their way through her skin, as this happened Kurai screamed in agonizing pain and finally two very large black angelic wings ripped through her back and blood shot everywhere just like what happened to Seth, the rain continued to pour as Kurai's golden bangs hid her eye's from everyone. There was blood dripping her arms and legs and some was dripping from her whitish dress and running of the pieces of gold.

“Kurai…are you there?” Atemu looked anxiously and worryingly at his beloved daughter who at this point looks like an evil and mislead child standing in the rain, but there was a slight red glow in between her bangs.

“Good evening…what is this power?” She remained hunched over, her hand stirred in a creepy manner and she raised it and aimed it at a random rock and poised it. “This feeling……it's beautiful.” A blast of black energy obliterated the rock and the corner it was in. “All this power…mine to control.”

“Kurai you must stop this behavior!” High priestess Isis replied. “You could get us all killed.”

Kurai lowered her hand and looked lost…

“What is happening….to me?!?!” Kurai grabbed her head and fell to her knees and cut open her knee's, a streak of lightening briefly brightened the sky and disappeared, a dark funnel had taken shape around Kurai's body and she rose to the center of the funnel, she was curled in a ball and her red glowing eye's shined with pain.

“This is bad we must get her out of there, the dark energy might destroy her.” Priest Mahado informed the others. “We can't lose her!”

As Mahado said those words spikes of pure dark energy began to be shot off from the funnel in any random direction. Some spikes shot of the chains that confound the priest's and priestess, Yuugi's resistence, the pharaoh and Lan.

“We have to get her!” Lan ran at the funnel, but was held back by the pharaoh.

“You don't know what your getting yourself into Lan!”

“I am trying to save your daughter my lord. I know what I am doing!” Lan breaks Atemu's grip and runs closer towards the funnel, but is once again held back by Atemu. “What is wrong?!?”

“She's my daughter I am going in after her.” Atemu glared at Lan, but sighed “I am too old for these games, ok Lan get my daughter of out…”Atemu got hit with a shadow spike and was hurled into a stone tablet.

“My Lord.” Lan started to run towards the pharaoh, but stopped and jumped into the funnel.

“My Pharaoh are you ok?” Mana asked, the young girl ran up the stairs and came to the pharaoh's aid.

“Atemu are you able to stand?” Mahado came and helped the pharaoh up to his feet.

“Yes I can, but its up to Lan…to rescue my dear Kurai.”

Meanwhile…

Lan was flying around in the dark funnel, it was pure nothingness and darkness and pain. After a few minutes or so of going through the funnel, Lan saw Kurai and flew towards her, her clothes were torn and her shoes torn off from her feet. Her dress was torn, her left leg was totally exposed and there were assorted tears around the top and some of her chest was exposed and her cape was ripped off and some of her gold was chipped and shattered because of the rotating darkness.

“Kurai-Chan!” Kurai quickly turned her head in the direction of Lan's voice, her eye's returned to their normal shiny crimson and she stared at Lan.

“Lan…you came for me?” Kurai reached her hand out to Lan and stretched towards him.

“Of course…I love you too much to just let you go and be taken by a stupid funnel.” Lan grabbed her hand, but the two were being scratched up by whirling debris and dark energy “I want to go back with you…I want to grow old with you…I want to be by your side when you take the throne.”

“Lan I love you too…I need to get out of here.” Kurai floated towards Lan, he was postioned above her, but the wind around them began to disapate. “DO you believe in life? Lan?” Kurai looked at Lan

“Of course I do, I believe all life was brought into this world for a meeting.

As the funnel disappeared the two began to fall to the ground at a fast speed and there was scattered debris.

“At last its over.” Kurai spoke too soon when a sharp piece of debris went through her right shoulder, releasing the ruby red blood from within her body, her face grew pale and her eye's began to grow cloudy as the evil piece of debris ripped and cracked through her body.

“Kurai?…Kurai…Don't leave me.” Kurai's eye's shut slowly and her body grew numb. “Mahado…is she dead?”

“Not yet, but If we don't treat her soon she will be.” Mahado picked up Kurai and the other priests and priestess followed. “ She has only so long before she dies of bloodloss.”

“Hurry up. We must save my daughter!”
