Lets Meet The Characters
3rd POV
A young boy of 15 stood by the river of Nile. He was gazing at the Sun, there known as Re Atum. All was quiet, to him, this was quite peaceful and calming.
His hair was spiky with golden bangs that stuck down and out. The rest was black, and 1 - inch of every strand was red. He also had golden highlights that lined every spike. His eyes were a deep violet. His skin, a desert tan. He wore a clean white robe that stopped at his knee and a gold sash around his waist and special jewelry. For example, he had on a crown. It was golden, had the eye of Horus in the middle, and golden wings that stuck out and up behind his ears. He had golden bands on his wrists and ankles.
Other than that, he was just your average, slightly height challenged, teenager. Of course, due to the fact that he was a prince, guards were watching, but from a distance. However, they weren't the only ones watching him... him whose name was Atemu.
About 2 miles away, on the top of a house, stood a girl. She looked 13, but in truth, she was a 75,013 year old immortal. Her name was Savira. But at the moment, she went by the title of "Diamond", and she was an assassin. First-rate, hunted throughout the years, never caught, vicious, cold-hearted, and the list goes on and on... Anyways, this Atemu was to be her next victim of assassination.
She had already placed bombs around the area where the guards were. When they exploded, the ground beneath them would collapse, killing them instantly.
But if you knew how she looked you would wonder how she could commit such malicious acts. Let's go on to that seeing as that you are still here and wondering.
She wore airy clothes of red silk. A turban was on her head hiding her hair. As for her eyes, left was blood red, right was ocean blue. And her skin was very pale, but it shined silver. It's quite beautiful, like alabaster or starlight. Also, if her hair was visible, you'd see it to be a sparkling silver that extended halfway down her neck. Knowing this, it's clear that see that she would've stuck out like a missing eye and thus why she covered it. At first glance, you'd think she was a young boy. Now, she was about to trigger the bombs when...
"Big brother!"
A young girl, also 15, shouted as she ran out to Atemu. She looked just like him givien the fact that if you ignore the hidden evil air about her. She jumped, catching him off guard as he fell off his feet and sending them both splashing into the river.
"Yamira! You're way too old to be doing that!” Atemu exclaimed, brushing his sopping bangs from his face.
"Sorry Atemu, but the look on your face is just too funny!” she giggled as she got up and held out a hand for her older twin to take. “Anyways, Mohaado wants to see you."
"Argh! What did I do this time? Or should I say, what did you do this time and blamed me for Yamira?"
Yamira had the audacity to look shocked. “big brother! Now why would I do such a thing?”
The two walked away, joking and bickering and laughing. High on her post, Savira's hand shook in anger. She was not going to be kept from her goal.

a month past by in a wirlwind of events. The Pharaoh had died by way of an assasin who had presented his heart to the queen thus having Atemu to be shoved to the throne as regent.
In another shocking turn of events, in order to keep the throne, Atemu had to marry his twin Yamira. He thought it would be no problem but it turned out to be worse, so much wose. Apparently Yamira had a violent desire for her older twin and would sho it in the most malaviolent ways possible, often leaving the young ruler limping for days.
Now let's see how he's doing now…
Inside, Atemu sat on the throne listening to the townspeople coming in and complaining about the problems they were having. The thing is, they were so boring, that he'd fall asleep every now and then.
Shimon, his personal advisor, would poke him awake causing him to shout "Execution!" This lessened the amount of townspeople that would come in, but still, they kept coming. Suddenly, a stranger in red walked up.
Atemu's POV
My attention was caught immediately. This stranger amazes me immensely. I've never seen a being such as they. I wonder who they are. What do they need? More importantly, why did they come here?
They walked up to me with such grace. Were that a man, or a woman? Their clothing hid every part of them, even their face. Their clothes... what fabric are they made from? It looks airy, but as I look at it, it's quite thick. And it's color, red, like blood. The wind coming in through the doors blew the loose bands about making them seem...
supernatural.
They stopped walking when there were 20 feet between us, and just stood there. They didn't even bow. I took it now to speak.
"What is your purpose here?"
"I am naught but a mere messenger, from foreign lands, no less."
Their voice appeared to be that of a girl's. But what kind of messenger was she? As I thought this, she spoke again.
"My orders were to give this scroll to the new pharaoh of Egypt. I'm not very familiar with this land's terms, so I'm
assuming the pharaoh would be you?"
"That is correct. Where and who is this scroll coming from?"
"That I don't know. I was only giving this scroll and the order. No more, no less."
The priests took the scroll from her and scanned it for curses, spells, etc. While they were doing so, Shimon began to speak to the messenger.
"Why do you not call our great pharaoh, 'Your Majesty'?"
I was annoyed with this. The way Shimon did things made me think he went by the book and never strayed in his long, long, only-Ra-knows-how-long life.
"Don't take this as an insult, but, I have no reason to do so. Nor was I told to. After I leave here, I must return to the kingdom from which I came."
"Where would this place be exactly?"
"Actually, that information is forbidden to... outsiders."
She said it rather quietly which made me wonder. I was about to speak when the priests handed me the scroll. They told me the scroll was blank. Out of curiosity, I opened it. The scroll read:
Pharaoh Atemu,
If you wish not for your life to end like your father, thepharaoh before you, you'll surrender the throne. This is your first and only warning.
I showed the scroll to Shimon and he gasped. Apparently since I read it, it was visible to all. We looked up at where the messenger stood, but they had already left. As mysteriously as Re Atum's descent. Suddenly, the scroll began to burn my hands and I dropped it. Before it hit the ground, it burned away to nothing.
Was the scroll cursed? No, impossible, the priests had all purified it of everything! Does that mean there's a different, stronger type of magic that we have yet to discover? Apparently, the answer was yes. I looked down where the scroll had burned away, and I saw a mark engraved in the ground. It appeared to be the crest of the dragons.
I was too tired to concentrate, plus, the burns on my hands were starting to get worse. Shimon told the guards to tell the townspeople that there would be no more complaints for the day. And I went to my personal chamber to rest.
Unfortunatly for me, and despite what happened today, Yamira was there, sitting on the bed, waiting...
