Assasination mishap part 2
“All of you gather the other guards and search the entire castle. I don't care what it takes, find the one who did this.”
“Yes, your Majesty.”
All the guards saluted him and then left. As they walked the halls once more with even more guards, they came across the dressing room. Savira slipped out of the group unnoticed and changed back into her servant garbs. Since all servants were ordered to leave, she'd have no problem getting out.
`Somebody has killed the Queen. Damn! Now I won't be to get close enough to kill the Pharaoh! This place will be packed with guards. Might as well leave for now. But wait, could it have been him? I hope not.'
Savira left the dressing room and began to make her way to the servants' quarters. But she was interrupted abruptly. At the doorway to the servant's exit stood a group of guards. One was holding something.
`No! My stealth garbs! I've been found out!' She turned and ran out. Thank goodness she did her homework, cause a wine seller would be leaving that night. If she hurried, she'd catch him and sneak out in one of the empty pots.
Soon, she came upon the kitchen, but it was dark. `Was it like this before? No, something's different. Something's here that wasn't here before.'
Suddenly, a man appeared before her. He had white hair whose bangs stuck out in spikes. Two of the bangs stuck up like bunny ears. In other words, a thief.
“What are you doing here Bakura?” Savira hissed through her teeth. He flashed her a grin.
“So, what brings you here to this…place? Fancy and crowded really isn't your style.”
“I'm here to kill the Pharaoh. Assassination business.”
“Oh. I was here to kill the Queen. Ya know, to rile the Pharaoh a bit.”
“Really! Then I guess I have you to thank for ruining my plans! Because the Queen is dead I can't get near the Pharaoh!” she hissed at him.
“I'm a thief. What'd ya expect?” Savira rolled her eyes at the tomb robber's response
“whatever. But if you interfere with my plans later I will be forced to kill you.” She said before leaving the kitchen.

As for the palace, as Savira foresaw, there were twice as many guards everywhere. No one could leave, nor come unless they had a guard with them. And at that it stayed.
Pharaoh Atemu had given his mother a most honorable burial, right next to his father, the late Pharaoh, her husband. Afterwards, the guards searched everywhere until they found Savira's dwelling.
The poor Fruit Seller was terrified when he found out that the young girl who had rented out his spare room was the assassin/messenger in disguise.
The pharaoh and his, er, uh, rapist cough, cough, 'wife' Queen Yamira vacationing in Nubia. Thankfully, they ran into Princess Tearrah.
Unfortunately, Atemu fell in love.
