Modern day Japan
“and the dude says to the girl, `that's not a duel monster, that's my mom!'”
Everyone rolled their eyes at Joey's lame joke. Atemu was hoping the teacher would come soon so Joey can stop pulling out his arsenal of gags. Kaiba wasn't even there to start a fight which would be a lot more interesting that Joey's tirade.
“good morning class, “ the teacher said as everyone automatically stoo out of respect.
“good morning sensei” they replied in unison. The teacher motioned for them to sit down. After taking roll call, she stood once again.
“class, today we have a new student. Pleaase come in dear.”
A girl with short silver hair and pale skin walked in, wearing the boy's uniform. A couple of the girls giggled at this but quieted at her red and blue eyed glare.
“please introduce yourself,” the teacher said, sitting behind her deak once again.
“my name is Savira Naraku and I'm 17 years old. I was born and raised in kyoto but for the last…5 years of my life, I have lived in Egypt. Don't bother me about how I act or how I dress and I will save you from a trip to the infirmary, got it?” a chill went over the classroom.
“er…uhm…Savira, why don't you choose your seat?”
“alright,” she replied, picking up her bookbag and walking over to the only other available seat…the one beside Atemu.
Atemu glanced at her briefly when suddenly a vision came into his mind
She looked at him and he held out his hand. Trembling she placed the ring in his and and he slid it onto her finger. It fit perfectly. He pulled her to him, an arm around her waist.
“Savira…will you marry me?” he whispered in her ear.
In response, she pressed her lips to his…
Startled, he tried to concentrated on it to see what it meant but as soon as he did, it disappeared. Shaking his head, he dismissed it.
`me? Proposing to that tomboy? Impossible.' He thought to himself, turning his concentration to today's lesson.
Unknown to his, Savira watched him sadly, monitoring his thoughts with her powers. She thought that the memory she sent him would jump start his but apparently not.
oh, Atemu, if only you knew…if only…
OWARI.

Mitzumi: IT'S FINISHED!! throws up confetti, unleashes fireworks, falls out exhausted
Atemu and Savira: sweatdrop
Savira: jeez, she's officially a writer now.
Atemu: yea, doing all that writing right before her deadline and sleeping all day to make up for the nights she stayed up until 5 am. puts a blanket over Mitzumi
Savira: rolls eyes her fault. Anyway, to you readers out there, be nice to her and read the sequal and any other story she post so she won't do all emo on us.
Atemu: which would REALLY be a bad thing. As always-
Savira and Atemu: R&R&R!!
