Maliks gurl: OK, I have never seen escaflowne so, I am so sorry if anything isn't right. Please forgive me if there is. And I better get Hitomi and Yami to stop fighting.

Chapter 1 - Meeting Jounouchi

"What the hell am I going to do?" Van was walking outside with Hitomi running to catch up

"Don't ask me! You're the king!" hitomi yelled. Van stopped in his tracks.

"Good point. But that doesn't mean anything! What the hell am I going to do?" Van said again. Hitomi just gave up "Oh Van! You are such a pest sometimes!!! Why is it you always ask me what to do when you should know! Always! (sorry dunno if this is true…I'm just guessing and writing)

"That is not true!" Van said while spinning around

"Is too!"

"Is Not!"

They kept that up for about 10 minutes until Allen came by. "What are you two arguing about??"

"Van always asks me what to do and he is denying it!" Hitomi said

"I do not!" Van yelled he looked at Allen "Do I?"

"Yeah you do. Sorry but you do always ask her." Allen said, and Van just stormed off. Leaving Allen and Hitomi laughing their heads off.

"Let's not do that again. Agreed?" Hitomi asked.

"Agreed, but you must admit. It was quite funny" Allen answered.

They talked for awhile more till the reached the castle (or is it a palace? I don't know whatever it is its big)

"Sorry Allen but I bet Van or Merle or both for all I know could be looking for me."

"No problem. I'll see ya later." Allen said and they went their separate ways.

Hitomi went inside while Allen went to an area to practise with his sword. Well, she was right. Van was there waiting for her.

"C'mon lets go for a walk." Van said and took her outside. There was a small breeze. And it was really warm, for being September that is.

"OK" Hitomi said and they left. While they were walking they walked right into Jounouchi. Well, he walked into them.

"Watch where your going blondie" Van yelled. After being knocked to the ground. Hitomi helped him up and glared at him. She also helped Jou up.

"You ok?" she asked

"Yeah I think I am. But I am lost. I got separated from me friends."

"OK. I'll help even if the king here won't" Hitomi jabbed her thumb at Van.

Joey just stared in disbelief, "You are the king? Sorry I'm such a nuisance. I'll leave you alone now." He turned to leave. But Hitomi grabbed his shoulder.

"No, we'll help you find your friends. How many -" Hitomi started but was cut off by a scream.

Joey heard it too, then darted in the direction that it came from. "That sounded like Yugi!!!"
