“Oh hey Layna.” Tea said, answering her vibrating cell phone. She had secretly wished it was Seto, whom she hadn’t seen in almost a week, but this was alright as well.

“Girl, you sound bummed. How long has your boyfriend been gone?”

“Too long.” Tea sighed, her eyes softening.

“Let’s get out and do something. It’ll be fun, I promise.”

“Alright. Let me tell Mokie that I’m going.”

“Ok.” Tea put her hand over the phone.

“Mokuba!” Tea screamed at the top of her lungs. The boy came running.

“What’s up sis?”

“I’m going out, I’ll be back later.”

“Oh, ok. We still going to hang out tonight?”

“Of course. Tonight is arcade night.” The two knocked fists.

“Good. I can’t wait.”

“Me neither.”

“Good.” Tea smiled and ruffled the boy's wild black hair, while running a hand through her own.

"Mokie's good with it. I feel kind of bad though, leaving him alone."

Mokuba heard that. "You're too guilty for your own good," He said, smiling at her.

"Alright then," Layna said, "I'll be right there to pick you up. We'll have fun."

"Oh God. I'm not sure if this is a smart idea."

"Neither am I, but it's all good."

"Jesus Christ, this hurts." Tea said, walking back to her friend's yellow mustang. Her small tank top revealed her belly button, which had a small hoop through it. She had told Seto numerous times that she was going to do it, and he had always told her that it would look sexy, which was very uncharacteristic of him. Well, she finally did it, and her small silver hoop had a small Blue Eyes on it, something her boyfriend would be fond of.

"Aren't you glad you finally did it?"

"Yeah, but still." Tea said, her gaze set on the wing.

"So what, we all know it hurts to be beautiful."

"Well Seto says I'm sexy just the way that I am." Tea pouted, sticking out her lower lip in a joking way.

"Yes well now he'll think of you as a goddess." Layna's chocolate colored hair danced in the wind. She could hear music coming from the high school. "Hey do you wanna go check them out?"

"Hell yeah!" The two girls got in the car and drove down to the school, parking in front of it.

"Oh my God, it's them!" Tea smiled. She always received this kind of reaction from girls when they saw her.

"Hey guys!" They both said. Now this was fun!

7pm pst: Seattle, Washington

"Mr. Kaiba, what's going on?" A secretary, whom seemed to constantly find her way to Kaiba's bad side had said. She was questioning his leaving. Kaiba was ready to fire her, even though he didn't reside here all the time.

"I'm leaving this hell hole. Are you that blonde that you don't see that?"

"Sorry Mr. Kaiba." The phone rang. "Hello. Kaibacorp. This is Liz, how may I help you?" There was a brief pause. "He's on his way out, you'll have to try aga--" Kaiba immediately grabbed the phone out of the girl's hand.

"Hey you." It was a mischievous voice. This caught the secretary off guard. "It's been too long." Then, realizing that the girl was staring, he paused. "I'll call you back on my cell phone. Okay?" He waited for a response then hung up. He then turned to his secretary.

"If Tea ever calls, which she most likely will, you are to put her straight through to me."

"Yes Mr. Kaiba. Goodnight."

Kaiba walked out of the huge seventy story building, and got in his black Ferrari, revving it up for sport and driving off. He then dialed his phone again.

"Hey baby." Tea said, the minute she read the caller id and pick up the phone.

"Hey."

"How long has it been since I last saw you?"

"Three days, seventeen hours, twenty one minutes and thirty two seconds." Tea let out a small laugh, which made Kaiba smile. This girl was like an addicting cure for whatever coldness he felt.

"Too long." Kaiba grunted in agreement.

"I wanted to check up on Mokuba. Where is he?"

"He's outside with a ....friend."

"What kind of friend, Love?" Tea smiled at his comment. They both love Pirates Of the Carribean, so it was their joke and her nickname.

Tea smiled. He was trying to get her to rat him out. "It wasn't my fault he almost fell head first for a girl at the arcade who went to his old school in Japan....now was it?" Tea paused, a small 'eep' coming from her mouth. "Did I just say that out loud?"

Kaiba chuckled. "You did, but I guess I'll keep quiet about it. So long as she doesn't have any international issues. Those girls are trouble."

"Now I know you're in a good mood. You're laughing, not being a psychopathic megalomaniac when you say something funny. Auctually, I heard that CEOs could be pretty bad too. All that business talk, ya know?"

"I know. So what did you do today?"

"Went out with Layna. We hung out at the high school with their new varsity team. They're pretty good."

"I'd bet you were better."

"Suck up."

"So what? What else did you do?"

"Went to the arcade with Mokuba, went shopping, got my belly button pierced, the usual."

"Oh. You did? I didn't think you would."

"You mad about it?"

"Did you bring Mokuba with you?"

"No! What kind of "sister" do you think I am?"

"Then I'm perfectly fine with it. What did you put in it?"

"A hoop, but I also bought some diamonds for later."

"Good." Tea was the next to laugh.

"You're too naughty for your own good. What did they teach you at CEO school?"

"You own the company, you make the rules."

"Hmmm. I guess that will work." She paused. "I love you."

"I love you too." He paused. "It's got to be late where you are."

"Only ten. Mokuba's "friend" just left."

"Isn't thirteen a little young?"

"He's more mature than you'd think. He grew up with you, remember."

"Haha."

"You want to talk to the kid?"

"Yeah."

"Alright. Then I'll talk to you later."

"Ok. Love you."

"Love you too, Seto."

"Bye, Love."

"See you." Tea covered her hand with the phone. She was in the kitchen, and it was still warm out, eighty one degrees. The screen door was open, and Mokuba sat at the island. "Seto wants to talk to you." She handed him the phone and walked outside into the garden.

NYC: August 22nd~9:59am edt

"Tea! Your cell's ringing! AGAIN!" Mokuba yelled. It was a good day, nice and sunny.

"Thanks kid!" Tea ran down the never ending staircase, then grabbed the banister to swing herself into the hallway, and then running straight into the kitchen counter. She moaned in self-pity and pain, then answered the phone.

"Hello?" She asked, her eyes darting over to Mokuba.

"Hey Hon!" The sides of Tea's mouth curved into a smile.

"Mai! How are you? It's been forever."

"Hasn't it? I'm in NYC. Joey said I should look you up."

"How are they?"

"They're all good. They miss you. Even though the last time they saw you, you had scared the shit out of them. I heard you're a gun wielding badass."

"They weren't lying. I had to take care of a terrorist. I've been, unknown to the rest of them, a gun wielding badass since age ten. They never asked, I never told."

"I knew you weren't just a friendship speaker."

"I'm the coach of one of the best if not the best dance teams in America."

"Oh really? What is it called?"

"White Lightning."

"You're kidding."

"No way."

"That's awesome!" There was a pause. "Can I come over? I haven't seen you in forever."

"Hang on just one minute." Tea covered the phone and looked at Mokuba for his approval.

"Don't look at me, I don't care. Seto won't be back until early on the Twenty Fourth."

Tea nodded, placing her mouth by the bottom of the phone. "Come on over. We'll have lunch."

"Alright! Where do you live?"

"Seventy-One Karma Ave."

"Okay! I'll be there in about fifteen minutes."

"Alright Mai, I'll see you later then."

"Bye Hon!"

"Bye."

Tea hit the 'end call' button and then turned to Mokuba. "Well bro, it seems as though we're having a guest for lunch. Would you go tell Rowland to open the front gate when she pulls up?"

"Of course."

"Thanks." Tea quickly ran upstairs, making sure that her hair wasn't a mess from the stunt she pulled earlier. She was wearing jean short shorts and a baby blue baby tee that revealed her belly button ring. Her hair was now mid length and ended at her shoulderblades, but the bangs remained the same, giving her a totally new look.

When the doorbell rang, Mokuba ran to the door. Tea was okay with Mai knowing that she was with Seto, if she asked that question, otherwise, she'd have to figure it out herself.

"Mokuba?" Mai questioned the boy at the door. "I must be in the wrong place. I'm sorry." She turned to leave.

"Get back here girl! I wasn't playing with your head!" Tea smiled at the girl, who took five seconds to recognize her and then pulled her into a hug.

"Look at you! You look fabulous!"

"You too." Tea lead the girl inside.

"Girl, this is the Kaiba mansion. Where do you really live?"

"Here." Tea said, like it wasn't anything new.

"Does Seto Kaiba know you're here, because obviously he isn't?"

"Yeah. Why wouldn't Seto know?" Mokuba asked.

"He knows Mai, don't worry about it. Why don't we give you the tour while the maids make lunch." They made their way up the stairs.

"Girl, are you a celebrity?"

"Yeah, the most popular dancer in America, why?"

"Because this is the biggest house in the world."

"Auctually our mansion in Domino is huger." Mokuba said, with a smirk.

"He's starting to look like his brother." Mai commented. This caused Mokuba to blush. "But in a cute sort of way." Inside her mind, Tea wanted to comment on the older brother, but seeing as she kind of didn't want to put anyone in a coma, she simply kept her thoughts to herself.

They continued on, showing Mai the entertainment room, which she was quite interested it, for it's dueling arena, and DVD collection. Then they went through the bedrooms.

"Hey Tea, of all the bedrooms, where's yours?" Mokuba glanced at Tea, who remained calm. "I'll show you. So long as Mokuba keeps his mouth shut."

"And what if I don't?" He asked, acting like his brother.

"You know those magazines that I saw on your bed, right? Do you want Seto to see them?"

"Alright, alright."

"Tea, since when do you refer to Kaiba as 'Seto'?"

"Because I can. You want to see my bedroom?"

"Yeah." Tea nodded, then opened the door, leading into the master bedroom. "Uh Tea, if this is Kaiba's house, why are you saying that you sleep in the master bedroom?"

"Simple." Tea paused. "Think about it." She looked at Mokuba who smiled. They were both wondering how long it would take the girl to realize that the situation was more complicated than she thought.

"Holy shit!" Mai's eyes widened in realization. "You.....he....you guys are.....Jesus Christ, I'm losing my mind."

"What?" Tea asked.

"I just thought that you and Kaiba were dating. Crazy huh?" Mokuba wanted to burst out laughing.

"Yeah, it's crazy alright. Crazy and true." Tea threw herself on the bed.

Mai could only stand there in shock. Mokuba laughed at the girl's face. "How long have you been in North America?" Mokuba asked.

"Two days."

"She should know by now. It's always somewhere, but mostly everywhere." Mokuba said.

Tea nodded her head in agreement.

"Well this is a shock. Do the others know?"

"Yeah. They all know, Joey was great with it."

"Really?" Tea rolled her eyes.

"No, you air head, I didn't tell them. And I probably won't until we go see them again."

"Who's we?"

"My boyfriend and I, as well as Mokuba."

"God girl, I never thought that I would say this but, good for you. If you love each other, then that's all that counts.

"Agreed." A small gargling sound was the next to fill the room.

"Jesus sweetheart, you sound like no one's fed you today." Mai smiled at the small Kaiba. He seemed especially happy, due to the fact that he always had someone to hang out with.

"Yeah, before Seto hears that sound in Seattle, we should probably get some lunch." Tea paused. "He might think that it's either an earthquake or a volcano eruption. Whichever's the case, he won't appreciate the false alarm."

"Yeah, he'll think that it's the end of the world or something." Mokuba said. "Let's go eat!"

*****

"Wow Hon, you're doing good for yourself. That's great."

"Thanks." Tea smiled. They were out in the garden now. "How are the others? I haven't talked to them in forever."

"They're good. After they all got back, it took them a few weeks to get back into the swing of things, but they're doing okay now. Joey and I finally hooked up about two months ago."

"That's awesome! I was waiting for that to happen."

"Tristan and Serenity were also getting rather close, I might add." Mai paused. "Yugi is good, as well as that pharaoh guy that I never quite understood, but other than that I don't think too much else has changed. How about you? Obviously there was somekind of some thing that made you and Kaiba so close?"

"Of course." Tea said. "When Yugi and the others were first captured by MalKida, I had no idea. They had altered people so much with plastic surgery that they actually looked just like the originals, so at first, I noticed that they were being slightly abusive. Then, they started beating me, so badly that I ran away to NYC. Then they followed me and trashed me so bad I couldn't walk, and this would be where Mokuba comes in. He made Seto keep me here until I got better, and I guess I never really left. We just began getting really close."

"Except for that one time when you ran off to New Jersey." Mokuba added.

"New Jersey? Girl, spill."

"Alright. Me and Seto got into a fight, and he didn't know about my whole family issue. So, anyway, he made a really nice comment to me, sarcastically of course, and I ran away with this guy that was my late father's best friend. When I actually called to see what was going on, I found out the Seto was ready to call the national guard. Then, when I got back, he was so sick it wasn't funny. He slept a total of about three hours that week, and ever since, if we ever get into fights, which usually doesn't happen, he won't let me out that door for fear that I won't come back. It's rather sweet."

"I never thought that Kaiba would ever fear anything."

Mokuba, who was so involved in thinking about how wacked the past two years had been, looked up at Mai. "Tea changed him. He's more fun now. And he isn't so work oriented."

Mai turned to Tea. "I don't even know if I should ask you about that."

"Well, if you want to know, I'd have to shove Mokie here inside. Or you can go call your girlfriend, your choice."

"Alright, I'll go call Yukita," Mokuba got up from the table, kissing Tea's cheek, and then running into the house. Tea smiled at him.

"If Seto calls on the other line, or something, let me know," She yelled to the teen, who was already upstairs. "So," she said, looking at Mai, "where were we?"

"I was going to ask you how close you were, exactly?" Mai said, her eyes large with curiosity.

"We've got you and Joey beat by about nine and a half months, it'll be a year on September nineteenth."

"Wow, I didn't think that you guys had been together long. That was the day before Joey got back to Domino."

"Yeah, when we went with Yugi to rescue them, there was a plane we took to Kansas, and you see that's kind of when..."

"When what?"

"When I got off, he grabbed me and told me that if we didn't live through what we were about to do, that he loved me."

"Kaiba the romantic? This I have got to see!"

"You will, but not anytime soon. How long are you here for?"

"Until tomorrow, then I'm leaving for Domino. The boys will be glad to hear that you're doing okay."

"You can't tell them about Kaiba. They'll take it better from me anyway."

"Alright, but when you tell them, make sure I'm in the room to restrain Joey."

"Oh I will, I wouldn't have it any other way." Tea glanced around the garden. There was a fountain in the right corner. To their left, was a variety of roses, red, white, black, and blue. It was quite beautiful. Tea sighed. "He had the roses planted for me. They're my favorite." Tea's eyes took on a far off look.

"I noticed." Mai looked at her friend. "Sugar, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just miss him."

"Why? You'll see him today won't you?"

"No, not until the morning of the twenty fourth. I haven't seen him in almost a week."

"That sucks."

"You better believe it. I'd bet he misses you, hmm?"

"He better. After everything we've done and been through, I would be damned if he didn't miss me." Tea paused, before she accidentally spilled the rest of her issue. "Especially at night."

"Hey Tea, out of sheer curiosity, are you a virgin?"

"TEA! THE PRESS IS ON THE PHONE. YOU WANT TO ANSWER IT?" Mokuba yelled, at the bottom of the stairs that lead to the bedroom.

"No." Mai choked. Mokuba yelled an 'alright,' and continued to chat with his girlfriend.

"Tea, who were you just talking to? Me or Mokuba?"

"Mokuba. Of course I'm a virgin."

"Tea."

"What?"

"You're a bad liar."

Tea shrugged.

"And you're a virgin?"

"Well...."

"See."

"No Tea, the thing is, I am."
