Chapter 1

It was after school at Domingo High as the group sat outside talking, today was Mother's Day and they were talking it.

Ryou: So, what dose everyone has plan for this day?

Joey: Well, Serenity and me are talking mom out for dinner.

Tristan: Did you two manage that?

Joey: *as he rubs the back of his head embarrass* I kind of borrowed the money from my dad. I told him I need the money for a new bike.

The group sighed.

Tea: Joey….

Joey: *as he looked over at Yugi, who had been quiet during this time* what about you, Yugi, what are you and your m- *Tea elbowed him hard in the ribs* OW! What was that for Tea?!

Tea: *whispering madly at Joey* Yugi's mother is dead, remember?

Joey: Oh yea…. *he looks towards Yugi with a sorry looked on his face* Sorry Yuge, I forgot.

Yugi: *sighed sadly* That's okay Joey. *tries to smile*

Seto: *puts a hand on Yugi's shoulder* I understand how you are felling. Mokuba and I have a hard time during this time as well. *Yugi nodded slowly*

Suddenly the Millennium Puzzle glowed and Yami appeared in his solid from sitting next to Yugi with this confused and yet concern look on his face.

Seto: *as he looks at Yami* Nice to have you join us, Yami.

Yami only nodded and looked towards his little light with the same look.

Yami: Aibou, what's the matter?

Yugi: *looks up at Yami and shacking his head as the tired to smile at him* It's noting Yami. No need to worry.

Yami: *rising an eyebrow in concern* You sure, Yugi?

Joey: Yuge, you could just tell Yami the truth.

Yami: *looks at him confused* What you talking about, Joey?

Joey: Well today is Mother's Day and Yugi is bum out cause… *he wince once again as Tea once again elbow him in the ribs*

Tea: *while her teeth closed* Let Yugi explain, okay blabbermouth!

Yami: *very confused* Mother's Day? What's that?

The group looked at him in surprise.

Tristan: Don't tell me you DON'T know about Mother's Day?! *Yami shook his head no* It's a special day where families with mothers are treated to a day were how they are meant to the their families. Don't tell me you don't have anything like that in Ancient Egypt.

Yami: *shook his head again* Never heard of it until now.

Yugi looks up at Yami with a pout.

Yugi: Can we go, Yami?

Yami: *blinks for a sec then nods* Sure.

Yami and Yugi walked down the street, both quite quiet for a while. Yami looked down at Yugi with another concern look.

Yami: Aibou, what's wrong. Why are you so quiet?

Yugi didn't say anything as they walk. They go to a flower shop and bout some flowers. Yami looked confused as they walked some more.

Yami: What are the flowers for?

Yugi once again didn't say anything as they went to a cemetery. Yami raised another eyebrow in confusion.

Yami: Aibou?

Yugi once again didn't say anything while he laid the flowers on top of a grave. Yami eyes widen in surprise, confusion, and a deep since of sadness when he saw the name on the grave `Saukura Mouto'.

Yami: Y-Your sister, Yami?

Yugi shook his head as he looked towards Yami with tears in his eyes.

Yugi: My mother.
