"Down, please, Nigel."
"To the basement Miss?"
"Yes, Nigel. To the basement."
"As you wish," Nigel said as he pressed the down button and then inserted a code into the keypad. The elevator whirred as it began to descend. Petra looked behind her at Isolde, who stood in front of her. Isolde, the darker woman from the office, smiled lightly and rolled her eyes. Nigel caught this and turned to Petra. "What?" he asked. Petra just shook her head, causing her silver hair to lightly soar around it and then settle in front of her face. She giggled at this and brushed it back behind her ears.
"We have arrived," Nigel stated as a bell sounded. The silver doors opened to reveal a large room filled with large glass tanks filled with odd creatures and a glowing green liquid. The trio stepped out of the elevator, Nigel in front with his long black hair hovering a few centimetres above the ground. His red eyes immediately searched for one creature in particular, as he searched to find it. Petra and Isolde followed him, though their legs weren't nearly as long as his meaning they had to talk a tad faster. When Nigel finally did stop, it was in front of a smaller tank containing a smaller creature. It was round and purple, with only a large, yellow eye. The eye was outlined by a thick green border of a form, and the same green bordered the horns that came out the top. On its back were two navy blue dragon wings, and it had two claws coming out the bottom of the same shade. Lastly, it had a long, spiny tail, also in the navy blue. Petra walked up to the tank and pressed her hand against the glass. The creature reacted and tried to fly around, but the liquid inside prevented it from doing so, so it just ended up doing some clumsy movements. Petra laughed.
"Ah, my little Medabat. Soon, you will be free," Petra said as she turned to Isolde and Nigel, "We have gone farther in the duel monsters’ research than anyone else. They could only create holograms." She began to walk away from the tank and toward a set of large golden doors, Isolde and Nigel followed. "These monsters are real, living beings. Father should be pleased that the first operation was a complete success..."

"Mr. Kaiba, sir, can you tell us why you're visiting a diamond company? Does this have anything to do with duel monsters?"
"Sir! Is there someone in particular there you wished to see? A secret romance, perhaps?"
"Mr. Kaiba, your comment, sir!"
Seto Kaiba glared at the reporters that were waiting for him with their flashing cameras the moment he stepped out of Frost Inc. Damn them, he thought to himself as his bodyguard, Franz, pushed the nosy reporters aside so Kaiba could make his way to the awaiting limo. Franz followed, in all his unusually large height and shape. His bald head glistened under the sun and his eyes were hidden behind dark sunglasses. For all it was worth, they were teal. Kaiba sat in his limo as it drove him back to his mansion. He opened his briefcase and looked at the contents inside. His deck, his duel disk system, and the order form for the 9 000 000 carats of diamond he had just ordered from Petra Frost. Petra Frost...what a curious girl. Like hell he'd believe that story about the witness protection program. There was something about her that he couldn't quite put his finger on... Her eyes seemed so cold and distant, yet they looked as if they held the wisdom of a thousand years. Seto closed his briefcase with a click to ponder this as the limo pulled up to the large mansion. On the steps was a young boy, aged at 11, with relatively long, rugged black hair and eyes that were a weird shade of purple and gray. When Seto stepped out of the limo, the boy ran up to him and hugged him around the waist.
"Seto!" he shouted. Seto ruffled his hair and continued walking up to the steps of the mansion, deep in thought. He needed to find out more about this...Petra character. Who was she and why was she running such a successful business in Domino City? No one really had use for diamonds. Something smelled fishy about Frost...

"Isolde Earth! Ilse Air! Ilse Ember! Come forth!" the dark-haired man boomed from atop his throne. Sitting in a black suit adorned with various ruffles that simply reeked of the 1600's, Kerwin Frost was not one who enjoyed waiting. He was king of the vampires, and had been for almost as long as they've been around, with only two rulers before him. His wife, Scarlett, sat at his left decked out in her blood red gown from the same era. A third throne sat to his right, in it was Petra. She sat, looking bored, wearing a blue miniskirt and a white halter top. Though a thousand years old she was, she still retained her 17-year-old image, and planned to for a long time. Three girls ran in, Isolde among them, and kneeled at the bottom of the steps leading up to the throne. Each was wearing a catsuit of a different colour. Isolde's was green with a brown collar. To her left was a remotely pale girl with shoulder-length brown hair with blonde highlights, and brown eyes. She was wearing a white catsuit with a blue collar. To Isolde's right was the third girl. She was wearing a red catsuit with an orange collar. Her hair was the same length and colour as the other girl's, but more wavy. Her eyes were also brown. Each of the girls had boots and gloves to match.
"Ah, I see you girls are already ready. Isle!" Kerwin boomed. The two other girls looked at each other and then back at Kerwin. Isolde remained with her head bowed. "Blast, Ilse Ember, step forward." The girl in red took a step forward. "You will be working with Isolde on this mission. Er, other Ilse, you will be working with Petra, once she gets up off her lazy butt and changes!" Petra took this as a sign and left the room. "All right girls. A client of Petra's has ordered a large quantity of diamond, and we need you to retrieve it. Earth and Ember, your job is to either distract the guards or take out the security." Petra walked back in, wearing a catsuit similar to Ilse Air's, but with the colours reversed. "Air and Frost, you two will be retrieving the diamond from inside the compound and bringing it to the back where the rest of the squad will be waiting. This job is for you four only, so don't fail me, my Quartet!"

A young girl stood outside the throne room, her ear pressed against the door. She looked to be about 10, and wore a simple red nightgown. She carried with her a red stuffed rabbit and wasn't very tall. One could easily guess she was as young as four. Her eyes were red, as was her hair, which was long and curly, though currently pinned up. She was supposed to be sleeping, as night had not yet fallen, but she couldn't. Her father's voice boomed and echoed all the way to her room. She could barely hear what he was saying, but knew when it was time to run because they were leaving. She quickly ran behind the curtain on the side of the door and hid there. The King's Quartet walked out, ready for their mission.
"You guys go on ahead, I'll meet you at the elevator," one of the voices said as it ran back to the door. The young girl took a deep breath and squeezed her eyes shut in the hopes that she wouldn't be found. The curtain moved in front of her, so she opened one eye. There was Petra staring back at her. "Cyrilla..." she began, but the girl had already gone.
