Shadow: okay then ^_^ I will try and continue this story now!! Lets me see if I can finish it. Hopefully it will turn out to be an okay chapter.

School let out early that day to better begin Spring Break. Springtime in Domino City was a beautiful time of year. The blossoms of trees and flowers bloomed beautifully and the sun shone brightly, usually in the temperature not too hot and not too cold...so in other words it was just perfect.

Yugi walked out of the school hurriedly, avoiding the students and teachers of whom he passed. His face was bright red as it had been all afternoon. It was... odd, this feeling he was feeling. Whenever he was kissed by his other self, no matter how harshly intended, he felt warm and fuzzy inside but when he had been kissed by Seto earlier it felt just not right.

His blush increased as he scratched the back of his head feeling embarrassed. Even though nobody could read his blocked off thoughts and emotions, he felt flushed just thinking about being kissed.

He walked the opposite way of where he usually went; towards the direction of the Domino City museum. He was going to go talk to Isis Ishtar and her brother Malik.

Malik and Yugi had become close friends, though they did not speak often. Malik had a Yami named Marik who, before the two got together, used to abuse him all they time. Yugi had comforted the blonde Egyptian during his rough time and in turn, whenever the keeper of he Millennium Rod came to visit his sister in Japan, he would spend time and comfort Yugi. Marik knew nothing of the little get together. At least Isis and Malik said he didn't.

Yugi was hoping to see how the two, who had gone through the same thing he was going through now, came over the situation and finally got together.

He passed the little shops and eateries on the way to the museum, not really taking in the scenery as he usually did. He had too much to think about. The whole thing with Yami, lunch and the kiss from Seto.

mainly his thoughts revolved around lunchtime and the kiss. It was at the top of his list at the moment.

He had immediately pushed the brunette away and ran off, in the process colliding into an upset and grieving Yami who strangely had embraced him and apologized. Yugi had just pushed away from his darker self and ran back to homeroom. He hadn't noticed the hurt look Yami sent in his direction until it was too late to turn back and Yami looked angry once more.

The small teenager sighed as he reached the museum entrance and pulled open the heavy oak doors. Two security guards immediately came up to him and then, noticing who it was, backed off politely and telling him that Miss Ishtar and her brother were in the basement.

Yugi nodded in gratitude before going downstairs where he was told the two were. The basement was where all the secret and most important Egyptian artifacts were kept. It held the stone tablets which revealed the ancient past of his Yami and the others and it held the Millennium Eye which Bakura had finally given up after he became too obsessive with torturing his own Hikari to care about torturing the world, and other miscellaneous things that had to do with their past lives.

The short teen looked into the room and noticed the raven haired owner of the museum examining one of the stone tablets on the wall. She turned, sensing another presence in the room and grinned when her eyes fell upon the puzzle holder.

"Hello, Yugi. I was wondering when you were going to come visit us. The last few months have been few and frequent that we've seen each other."

"HI Isis. Is Malik or Marik here? I kind of wanted to talk with you three about... um...well about Yami."

"Is he still being a pain in the ass?"

The snide comment flitted over to the two who both chuckled and turned towards the door where Marik was smirking.

"Hey I never told you about him did I?"

"You didn't have to. I already knew. That, and Mali told me about his beatings on you."

Yugi's brow furrowed in confusion, "Mali?" he inquired.

From behind the smug looking spirit, a certain Egyptian boy fumed, "MARIK I TOLD YOU NEVER TO CALL ME THAT IN PUBLIC!!!" the seventeen year old fumed.

Marik bonked himself on the forehead playfully, "oh yeah, silly me!" he then took the opportunity to take the blonde Hikari and place him in an inescapable headlock. Malik growled slightly and then slouched in defeat, "sorry Yueg, he made me tell him. He can be very... _convincing_ sometimes." A blush sprinkled across his cheeks at the deeper meaning behind the words.

Yugi's eyes lowered to the ground sadly, "I'll bet" he mumbled.

Letting go of his imprisoned Hikari, Marik made his way over to the holder of the millennium puzzle. He really did like Yugi. It was Yami he disliked. The Pharaoh had put his family to slavery all those many years ago; not Yugi. The fact that they were bonded by the Sennen Puzzle did not mean he would hate them equally. In truth, he actually thought of Yugi as the little brother he never had. Well, the second little brother at least. Malik kind of took of the first part even though half the time he acted pretty mature on his own... not even most the time. But oh well.

Swinging an arm around the short teen's shoulders, he motioned for him to sit down. "Yugi," he began, getting the boy's attention easily. "Do you know why Yami's abuses you?" Yugi shook his head and tears started to form in his eyes at the mention of his darker self and abusing in the same sentence. As true as the statement was, he still did not like others discussing in a gossiping manner. It hurt to be the subject of jocular interest. Yugi knew that well...he often was that in the conversations between Jonouchi, Honda, Anzu, and Yami and all the other students at his Ra damned school. Except Kaiba. Kaiba had never said anything harsh about him or picked on him. At least, he hoped he didn't. He didn't really know what the CEO talked about with his other friends when the spiky haired boy wasn't around.

"It's because he is in love with you." Marik stated simply.

Yugi looked up, eyes shining angrily, "that isn't true. Please, I know you love seeing me miserable but, please, I'm already in a bad enough mood I don't need to be led to believe something then end up having me laughed at because I believed it in the first place."

Isis walked over to him and the yami, "he is right, little one. Why do you think it was, that Marik abused Malik after Battle City?" She let the question sink in before, also, taking a seat next to the two followed by her brother. "The darkness can only love the light. It needs the light, it craves the light, it cannot breathe without the light beside it. But yet, there is always something separating the two and keeping them apart from each other and their true feelings. Yami is acting the way he is because he is in love with you, little one."

"This is not funny!"

"If this were not the truth, Yugi, I would not let it come out of my mouth. Nor would I even think it."

Yugi kept silent and let Marik take control of the conversation.

"You see, a yami is incapable of showing true affection. You say Yami is together with Anzu right?! And that they always are displaying their love for one another in public? Well I hate to tell Anzu but with you this is crucial to know that isn't real love. At least, it isn't coming from the Pharaoh. He is trying to conceal his feelings of you and replace them towards someone else so he will not hurt you. The only way a Yami can show true love is by abusing you."

"But you-and Malik-and...you two aren't like that at all!"

"Ah but we were Yugi."

Malik smiled, "Yami will be able to put aside his abusive ways if he thinks you hate him and do not forgive him for what he's done or if you just happen to get with another person and love them." he exclaimed.

The small Hikari raised an eyebrow and Malik laughed, "he will get jealous and all ideas of hurting you will melt away and the true raw emotions behind the hurt and abuse will show. Jealousy is one of the things that makes up a yami, truthfully." Marik rolled his eyes.

"Is that how you and Marik started to love each other for real? And Marik to stop being so cruel?"

The two blondes nodded at him and grinned. Malik laughed, "I pretended to fall in love with Shizuka. It got Jou pretty pissed off but it worked extremely well, as you can see."

"You and Seto are pretty close. Why don't you inform him of this information and ask him to be the one you are `going to be in love with.'" Isis said.

Yugi nodded. The plan was foolproof if it had already worked on a yami and Hikari pair before. He grinned and hugged the three Ishtars gratefully. "Thank you thank you thank you!" he repeated over and over again.

The three smiled and Malik managed to break them all free of the embrace," we're glad to help you Yugi. You're like family to us. Sort of."

The Hikari smiled, "thank you again. I'm going to go find Seto now."

//This would explain why Yami apologized after he saw him kissing me this afternoon! The ice in his heart was beginning to melt away!// Yugi thought happily. He waved again to his friends, and at this moment, saviors and ran out of the basement and out of the museum towards the Kaiba Mansion a bit down the street.

Seto opened the door when it rang. He was surprised to see Yugi standing there.

"Seto!" he called, excitedly bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet, "Seto I want you to be my boyfriend!"

The CE's eyes widened at the much wanted to hear words. He smiled slightly and bent down, pulling the small boy into a kiss which he responded to eagerly, "of course."

//I won't tell him the rest now. He's too happy.// with that Yugi pressed more into the kiss, letting himself drown in this new flavor that he really enjoyed. This kiss was nothing like earlier and he fell in love with it and its owner.

//But what about Yami.//

Now he was juggling two hearts.

Not a good thing at all.

Seto pulled away, "you have no idea how long I wanted to be together with you. And it isn't because I _lust_ after you like everyone else. I love you for you."

Yugi sweated a little, not knowing what to say. Great he was in another jam again. "I-I love you too Seto."

"I'm so glad."

With that, the brunette kissed him again and again, Yugi fell in love with it.

Shadow: Yeah! Seto/Yugi fluff!!! But Yugi is kinda mean toying with emotions like that! Oh well!
