Sexual Predator
______________________

This place was humongous… I couldn't really believe I could call this my home now. My bedroom was about the size of my old house's lounge, and I even had my own bathroom! Paul's house was on a hill near the Pacific Ocean on the other side of Domino from where we used to live. It had a luminous 360 degree view across nothing but sapphire ocean, cerulean sky and brightly coloured exotic flowers in his garden. Down in the garden was an in-ground pool, and there was even a sunroom to put Harry's terrarium in, too. What a life to be a surgeon, huh?

A week and a half had gone by, and our landlord had stood her ground about us moving out. No matter how hard my mother tried to compromise, she would not change her mind. To our dismay, we began packing up our things and selling anything we didn't need just to earn some more money for the move, including my bed! As soon as Dr. Roes had found out about this, he immediately asked Afet to move in with him, along with Ryou, Bakura and I too.

"It's absolutely no problem, dear." He had said to my mother. "Shika and the boys can have the guest room, and you can sleep in my room with me. It gets lonely in that oversized place of mine; I could do with some company, even if it's not permanent."

My mother of course denied him until he persuaded her into moving in. If anything, it had taken a lot of weight off of our shoulders about having to find a new home. The only problem was that I would have to find independent transport to get myself up and down the hill and to school in the mornings and evenings. This only meant one thing - getting my driver's licence and investing in a car.

"Hey gorgeous," I whipped around in hearing Bakura's husky voice. He was leaning against the doorframe of my room in swimming trunks and a towel wrapped around him. "You should come for a swim."

I smiled. "Bakura, it's freezing outside. Besides, I've still got a lot of unpacking to do."

"What a meanie." He teased, and advanced on me. "You've been unpacking all day! Take some time out."

"Nah," I replied. "I want to get it over and done with. And when I'm done, I've got homework."

Ryou then appeared in the doorway and set his hands on his hips. "You work too hard, you know that?"

"Welcome to the way of life in Japan, Ryou." I mocked sarcastically, and sat down on my new queen-sized bed. "England must be a breeze compared to this life."

"I must say it was a lot more laid-back… But that's no excuse! Come on now, take a break, love."

I sighed and looked at him skeptically. "Oh… alright!"

Bakura smirked. All Ryou could do was grin. He didn't often triumph against my perseverance.

*~***~*

"Oh my God, shut up!" I screamed mentally at myself at the song that was going around in my head. I was already late for class, and having Gwen Stefani's `What you waiting for?' going around in my head didn't help.

Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock…

"Argh!" I slammed myself through to my English classroom and collapsed into my seat, nearly dying of exhaustion as I did so.

"How nice of you to join us, Miss. Haadimaal." My teacher said, rolling his eyes behind clear lenses sarcastically.

"I'm sorry…" I mumbled. "It's kinda hard getting to school on time when I live so far away now…"

"That's no excuse. You will see me after class, Shika. Now…"

Class was a total bore. Running late didn't help either, and Ryou had to be here even earlier for some whacko science project he had been working on for about three months. I just thanked the Gods that it was Friday so I'd be able to lax out for three whole days of doing dreamless nothing in my new luxurious home.

"Hey, Shika! Hold up girl!"

I halted and looked at my watch - 5:10 pm. I then spun around the other direction in hearing Anzu's piercing voice ringing through the air. She was running toward me with a piece of paper flapping about between her fingers. At her side were Miho and Taree.

"What's going on, Anzu?" I asked.

"Look!" She cried, flinging the piece of paper at me. "There's a concert this Saturday night! So many cool bands are going to be there!"

"Like who?" I asked, uninterested.

"The Kinki Kids!" Miho squealed.

"And Shounen Knife!" Anzu piped up.

I frowned. "Okay I have no idea who they are… but you guys can go, I'm not really into J-pop."

"Aw come on, Shika! We're having a party at my house after the concert!" Taree shrieked excitedly.

Oh boy, here we go again… `let's peer pressure Shika into doing something she doesn't want to just because she's a total pushover and will say yes to anything so she doesn't hurt anyone's feelings…' I thought sarcastically to myself. `And while we're at it, let's try and fuck her too!'

"So it's not a sleepover? Just a party?"

Taree nodded, her bouncy blonde curls falling about her shoulders. "Yeah, Mom's going on a business trip to Beijing with Daddy for the weekend, so I've got the place to myself. You know how it is." She shrugged.

"How nice," I said. "I really don't know if I'll be able to make it, you guys. I'll try though, okay?" Tch. When Hell freezes over, maybe.

"Will you? That'd be so great! It wouldn't be the same without you there, Shika!" Anzu cried and flung her arms around me in an enthusiastic glomp.

"We'll see." I stated before turning off back on my way.

*~***~*

Hiking up the hill today absolutely famished me - and not just in the hunger way, either. I felt like a dried up scarab beetle in the desert miles away from any waterhole with no hope to survive. Okay, so maybe that was a bit over exaggerated, but at least I made it home.

Presently I was lying on my bed staring up at the Indian silk curtains trailing around my four poster bed. In fact, my whole room was based on an Indian theme. It was the guest room of Paul's house, and I didn't want to change it because it was so cool. He had brought back a whole lot of things from his trip to India while he was helping out extremely unwell children and families for CCF (Christian Children's Fund).

Around the walls were pictures of the Taj Mahal, embroidery of elephants, cows and other sacred Indian animals. The walls were a bronzy-gold metallic colour, and the silk drapes around my bed and windows were dyed purple, blue, pink and yellow, with black henna ink Indian designs on them. They must have been worth an absolute fortune, I decided. I didn't even want to put up my posters because the room was so beautifully designed.

"Shika, sweetheart?" my mother poked her head around the corner of my door.

"Yeah, Mom?"

"Is it alright if I come in? I need to talk to you about something."

I sat up on my bed. "Sure, come in."

Afet's dark purple hair, the same colour as mine, swayed behind her back in a long plait as she turned to close the door behind her. She came and sat beside me and smiled a little. I wondered what was on her mind.

I gazed at her peculiarly. "What's this all about, Mom?"

She sighed and stroked my hair. "Honey, it's about your father. While he was in prison, he was entitled to write a will… and I think you have every right to know what he put in it. There are some things in there that he has kept for you and for Rai, dear."

I frowned and turned away with a stubborn lift of my chin. "I don't want his money."

"It's not just money, Shika. You know your father was a wealthy man, and he has some things to give to you and your brother, whether you like it or not. It's in his will."

I was silent for a moment, processing the thoughts in my head. What my mother was saying was true, and if my father did have anything worth giving to my mother, brother and I, then we may be able to benefit from it. Still, I wasn't too keen on taking possession of his belongings, especially when I was trying my best to try and forget everything that had happened recently.

"Well where do I find out all this?" I asked.

Afet smiled. She looked so much like Rai just then. "Your father's solicitor has requested for you and Rai to go and see him tomorrow at his legal firm. He will discuss who gets what with you then."

"What time and where?"

"Your brother knows where it is. He's coming here to pick you up at about nine tomorrow morning, alright sweet heart?" She kissed me on the forehead and ruffled my hair. I guessed she was finally accepting the fact that Paul was too bighearted to offer us a new home… and a new life. She looked happier than I'd ever seen her in a long time.

*~***~*

It was snowing lightly when I woke up the next morning. I felt so ironic lying in this new bed in this new room with Indian themed things all around me, when India is such a hot country and here it is snowing outside. Ryou was still asleep, and I didn't intend on waking him either. Rai was going to be here in about an hour to pick me up, and Ryou would get cranky if he didn't get enough sleep, like he usually does.

Rai arrived on time outside the gate at the end of Paul's garden path and beeped the horn. I ran out quickly, my high-heeled soft-leather boots clapping the redbrick path. My faux-furred hood on my coat was covering my head to shield my hair from the snow. I hopped in the car and brushed the snow off of my knee-length black skirt.

"You're looking nice, sis." Rai said as he put the car into first gear and started rolling down the hill.

"Thanks." I replied. I suddenly felt incredibly awkward around my brother. The last time we had seen each other was at Dad's death, and it was a touchy subject to talk about. Having to go to a solicitor about it together just made it that much worse.

"Mom told me you're going for your licence soon."

"I'm going to have to if this is where I'll be living now." I replied. "Walking up that damn hill is going to kill me if I don't get a car."

"Sounds to me like someone needs to work out a little more." Rai scoffed cockily.

I rolled my eyes. "I'd like to see you walk all the way up that hill from foot to summit, muscleman."

He shut up after that.

*~***~*

Rai and I were called into the lawyer's office on arrival. The man who faced us was called Mr. Callahan. He had sharp, defined features with a long nose and oval face which slanted more so at the chin. He had wavy grey hair at the sides of his head with a shiny bald top. On the end of his nose was a pair of peculiar shaped reading glasses.

"Your father, Sevilin Haadimaal, has some… shall we say, interesting statements in his will." Callahan said.

"He was probably high off crack when he wrote it." I muttered under my breath. Rai shunted me and cleared his throat.

"What are we entitled to, Mr. Callahan?" He asked.

Callahan shuffled his paperwork about before answering. "Sevilin had a closing balance in his bank account of two hundred and eighty-seven thousand, nine hundred and thirty-two dollars and five cents remaining. In his will he stated, and I quote `whatever is remaining in my account, I would like it to be divided equally between Afet, Shika and Rai'."

I nearly choked. "How much?!" I blurted out.

Callahan narrowed his eyes at me. "Two hundred and eighty-seven thousand, nine hundred and thirty-two dollars and five cents." He repeated. "Thus meaning, that you will each receive ninety-five thousand, nine hundred and seventy-seven dollars and thirty-five cents each."

Rai was shaking in his seat, and let out something of a whimper. I knew my father was rich, but didn't have the faintest idea how much he actually had. All the blood was rushing to my head. I could hardly believe what I had just received, and I wondered if there was more to come.

"That is not all Sevilin wishes, however. He has asked to give his eldest child, Rai Haadimaal, his Harley Davidson, and to his daughter, the family heirloom - which is a necklace I believe…"

"My Grand mother's necklace…" I whispered. "That thing is priceless, Rai!"

"Yeah I know… Err, but all that stuff is still in Turkey. How are we supposed to get it here?"

Callahan stretched out in his seat. "It is all being imported here as we speak, in three separate containers. All expenses have already been paid. They should arrive in about two month's time at the Domino Port."

*~***~*

Meanwhile…

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Ryou?" Bakura grunted as they walked up the steps.

Ryou sighed. "That's about the third time you've asked me that on our way here, Bakura." He knocked on the door. "How do you expect Malik to like us if we don't talk to him?"

"Hn, fancy that. The tomb robber has come around for a little visit with his bitch." Marik laughed haughtily in opening the door and seeing the two metallic white haired boys waiting.

Ryou stared open-mouthed in offence. Bakura rolled his eyes. "Actually, it's your bitch we're here to see, Ishtar."

"Who? Isis or Malik?"

Bakura smirked. "Well-"

"We're here to see Malik, Marik." Ryou cut in, shunting Bakura in the ribs rolling his eyes all the while.

"Come in." Marik replied playfully, opening the door. He walked to the bottom of the stairs. "Hikari!"

"What?!" A voice screeched. "I'm kind of in the middle of something here!"

Marik frowned. "Wait here."

Confused, Ryou and Bakura sat themselves down on the couch. Sahar immediately jumped into their laps and started licking their faces and growled playfully at them. Ryou giggled and petted her.

"Ah!" Ryou's eyes widened at the girlie scream that suddenly came from upstairs.

"Marik! What the hell do you want?!"

"You have visitors, you idiot." Silence followed.

"…Shit."

Marik laughed and returned downstairs. "I think he had some company over last night… he shouldn't be too long."

Bakura and Ryou waited for the lavender-eyed, platinum blonde beauty to emerge out from wherever he was. But the first to come down a stairwell was a girl about Shika's age with medium length wavy brown hair, tan skin and dark hazel eyes. Her clothes looked ruffled and her hair was slightly out of place. She blushed bright red in seeing the three other teenage boys sitting in the lounge and headed for the door.

"Hello!" Ryou chimed.

The girl whirled around in surprise. "Um… hello…" She replied hesitantly, eyeing every person in the room. "You… speak English…"

"Yes! I'm from England. Do you go to Domino High? I haven't seen you around before." Ryou asked.

"Uh, well yeah, I just started… I'm sorry, I have to go. Could I get your name?" She asked, avoiding eye contact with everyone except Ryou.

"My name is Ryou. You are?"

"I'm J'Lee. Err… nice to meet you! Goodbye." With that, the foreign girl left the premises, shutting the door behind her.

"That was… odd." Bakura stated after a few moments.

"Agreed. But she is hot!" Marik said. "J'Lee… hmm… I could get used to that…"

"Get a life, Marik. She's scared of y-" Malik cut himself short as he noticed the two pale boys sitting on his couch staring up at him. Bakura was grimacing as usual and Ryou was slightly smiling. "Uh… hi, Ryou, Bakura."

"Hello, Malik. Uh… is it alright if we have a talk?" Ryou asked politely.

"Yeah sure… where's Shika?" Malik asked.

"Gone to the solicitor's." Bakura said bluntly. "I'll leave you two hikaris to it then. Come on Marik."

"No," Ryou said stubbornly. "I want us to all be included in this talk, for Shika's sake. Okay?"

Bakura whined. Ryou frowned. Malik raised an eyebrow. Marik just stood looking dumb.

"So!" Ryou chirped. "Let's start with trying not to kill each other for once, alright?"

Malik looked at his feet. "Have you guys come to an agreement about this yet?"

"No."

"Yes! We have." Ryou corrected, elbowing Bakura in the ribs.

"So…?" Malik asked. "What is it, then?"

"You're welcome to hang out with Shika, Bakura and I whenever you want." Ryou replied with a smile.

"On one very strict condition." Bakura snarled.

"And… what is that?" Malik asked, trying not to appear troubled.

Bakura smirked smugly. "Hands off of what is ours."

*~***~*
Shika's POV…
Later that night…

"So… you talked to him? As in actually talked?!" I cried. "Without biting his head off?!"

"Who said I had to be nice?" Bakura protested. "Anyway, the son of a bitch wants to come out with us tonight."

"Bakura!" I scowled. "Listen… I know you don't like the idea of all of this, but Malik is really going to try this time."

My white-haired fiend frowned. "Yeah, try to be a pain in my ass!"

I blinked for a minute. Shika, do not take that literally.

"You just put a reallyodd thought in my head." I replied, trying to clear the images in my mind. Bakura looked at me strangely. "But you know what?" I continued.

"What?" He asked, jerking back in confusion.

"You…" I began. "And Ryou, are the only ones for me…" I said as I climbed upon his lap. "And if you're a good boy tonight… which means you have to be nice to Malik…" I continued. "You might just get a little treat later on…" I began to nibble at his neck and as I slid my hand up his shirt, I caressed his right nipple.

Between gasps and moans, Bakura said, "Shika… I'm going to count to five."

I pulled back and cocked my head to the side in total mystification. "What?"

"Unless you want to not be able to walk for the next three days, I suggest you run - as fast as you can - as far away from me as possible, and not stop, because, Ra forbid, I will rape you at any given chance within the next five seconds… One,"

I burst out laughing and got off of his lap and went to comb my hair instead. "You're not serious…?"

"Two,"

I turned around looking at him skeptically. "Are you?" I soon noticed his swollen rod evidently trying to jerk free from inside his pants.

"Three,"

"You little shit! You'll get your reward later, not now!" I cried.

He merely smirked. "But what about what I want now…?"

"I know what you want now, and you're not getting it." I replied sternly, stamping my foot and glaring in his direction.

"Alright then, let's come to a compromise." He said, standing up and advancing on my petite frame, towering over me by nearly a foot.

"Bakuraaaa…" I dragged out.

"No listen," he said, tilting my chin up and looking down at me. "When we get home later, you're mine, okay?"

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, whatever."

"However, should you not fulfill my needs… there will be trouble." He smirked.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Can we go now?"

"Yes, but just keep that thought in mind."

Great, I've got my own sexual predator. I thought. How dare he threaten me?!

*~***~*

Malik had borrowed Rishid's car to pick us up later in the evening, at about nine o'clock. Since we hadn't bothered to go to the concert that Anzu was raving about, we decided we might as well go and check out her party instead. Rishid's car was a bomb to say the least; it coughed and spluttered and backfired like nothing you'd ever seen or heard of before. We finally made it however, to the Jomei residence safely.

"This party's going off!" Malik exclaimed as we walked into her house which had been decorated with streamers, strobe lights and balloons.

I wasn't really sure how tonight was going to turn out… but I had a hinting suspicion that I would be driving four very drunk bishounens home. I guess being someone who doesn't like to drink often had its downsides too…

"Hey Shika! You made it!"

From across the room I heard Taree's voice, and was immediately glomped by the enthusiastic (and slightly tipsy) blonde. A lot of people from Domino High were here too, including Jou, Kaiba, Honda and this new guy… I forget his name. I think it's Otogi* or something.

"The concert was, like, so awesome! You, like, so should have been there!"

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. "I bet it was great."

"Anyway, have a drink, won't you?"

"No thanks, I'm not drinking tonight."

I noticed that Malik was talking to some girl that I hadn't seen before… I wondered who she was. I also noticed that they were both drinking, as were Ryou and Bakura. Yep, you'll definitely be sober-driving tonight, Shika.

*~***~*

Do you ever find it that cynical people are always right? I do. Yet, I claim that I am a realist, not a pessimist. Optimistic people just seem to get on my nerves… anyway, I digress. It's 2 am and here I am with Marik - the lesser drunk of the three - trying to get Malik, Ryou and Bakura into the car. I hopped into the driver's seat and leant into the back to try and find the car keys out of Malik's pocket. He was half comatose in the back seat, but his eyes flicked open as he felt my hand reach into his pocket. He smirked at me as I did this.

I sighed and shook my head and put the keys into the ignition. Marik came and sat in the passenger's seat and buckled himself up. I started the car and we took off down the road, on the way back to Malik's place.

"Err… where do you guys want to be dropped off?" I asked Marik. He was however, already asleep. I frowned and looked in the back for an answer.

"Oh Ra! Pull over!" Malik cried covering his mouth with his hand.

I quickly shoved down the gears and game to a stop at the side of the road. He threw the back door open and collapsed onto his knees on the roadside grass. All I could hear was the sound of him throwing up as hard as he could. I let out a frustrated sigh and banged my head against the steering wheel. This night was about to get even longer.

*~***~*

We finally made it back to Paul's place. I knew that Rishid was going to kill Malik or even me for taking his car overnight… but I was so tired and honestly couldn't be bothered driving the whole way to the other side of the city to Malik's place. They'd be fine staying that night here… Well at least I thought they would. I just prayed that Paul or Mom wouldn't freak out in seeing two extra males passed out on the couch or wherever tomorrow - err - this morning.

I turned the car off and pulled on the handbrake. Marik stirred awake, Malik and Ryou were out cold and Bakura was attempting to get out of the car on his own. I quickly raced up the steps and quietly unlocked the door. Marik was helping Bakura and Malik up to the house, and Ryou was still in the car.

Soon we were all up in the house, but there was one problem - Ryou, Bakura and Malik had taken my bed! I groaned, knowing that I'd never be able to move them, so I just went downstairs only to find Marik already occupying the couch!

"Oh great." I said out loud. "Marik, shove over." I would have preferred anyone except Marik to have to sleep next to tonight.

He grunted something in reply and rolled further into the crease of the couch. I groaned internally and lay down next to him, feeling like a munchkin next to the guy that was over a foot taller and wider than me. I lay my head down on the plush of the velvety cushions and closed my eyes.

*~***~*

It was early-morning when I woke up, and burnt-orange sunbeams were filtering through the transparent white curtains of the lounge. I wondered where I was for a second until I remembered last night. Then I remembered who I had been sleeping next to, and turned to look over my shoulder. I nearly died when I noticed that Marik was awake, shirtless, smirking, and had his arms around my chest. I jumped in fright and fell off of the couch.

"Marik! What the hell--?!"

I was soon cut short as I heard strange noises coming from upstairs. Marik and I exchanged baffled glances and looked toward the stairwell. The odd sound came again, but this time louder. I picked myself up off of the floor and made my way upstairs with Marik in tow. Quietly cracking open my bedroom door, I saw a sight I never dreamed I would see.

"OH... MY…GOD…"
