The days he spent with Seto were torture. The nights were even worse. Especially when he had decided to move the boy to his room. When he had decided on that, he hadn't expected for his angel to fight him. He thought he had gotten through to the teen. Seto seemed less angry than before. And more open about things. He was still amazed by how far he had had progressed with Seto. He had assumed that Seto was putty in his hands by now. The teen proved otherwise.

His angel had fought him every step of the way. At one point he had tried to physically wrestle the boy to get him to budge an inch. He had forgotten how stubborn the boy could be. He also had forgotten how strong Seto was.

The boy had him down and pinned under him in a manner of seconds. Those cold eyes blazed, threateningly. “Care to repeat that, Pegasus?” He snarled. It seemed the boy only called him by his first name when he was in a good mood. And right now, Seto was obviously not in a good mood.

Pegasus squirmed under Seto's body. He was stuck, and he knew it. He knew he shouldn't have tried to overpower the boy. Now he was punned under his angel, not that he minded. He liked the feel of that slim, elegant body straddling him, pressing hard against his own. The position was enough to make him aroused. “I said I'm moving you to my room” He breathed, huskily. “I don't see your problem with it, Kaiba-boy.”

“I didn't ask to be moved.” The teen growled, angrily.

“You didn't ask not to be.” He shot back. “It's not like I'm asking to sleep with you or anything.”

“Could have fooled me. You know you'd love to have the chance.”

Caught up in the argument, neither party had any idea what they were really admitting. “Yes I would. But that's beside the point.”

“Well, maybe I would too.” Seto sat up abruptly, dragging the older man with him. He finally registered what they had been saying. Pegasus had admitted to wanting to sleep with him. And he had readily agreed that he returned the sentiment. In a husky voice, he continued. “Then what is your point, Pegasus?”

“The point is, I like to know where you are. I like keeping an eye on you. What better way to do that than to move you where I can see you?”

The teen's eyes narrowed. “It sounds like you don't trust me. Well, that's fine.” He stood. His hands were shaking. He could feel tears threatening. He didn't know why the thought of Maximillion not trusting him hurt him so badly. “I don`t need to be watched over. In fact, I don`t need you, Maximillion!”

“Seto.” Pegasus started. He had finally digested what had been said as well. He realized his mistake too late. His angel was upset with him.

“Don't Seto me, Pegasus. You're damn lucky I've stayed around this long.” The boy turned and walked away. His long coat flowed behind him. “I'll be going now. And there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop me.”

Pegasus winced as the boy slammed the door behind him. “Seto. Don't go. Damn it, Seto!” He thought that would have been the end of it. His angel was most assuredly gone. The boy had just vanished. He didn't show up the rest of the day. A day the dragged terribly. A lonely day for the businessman.

He spent that day going through the motions. He was angry with himself for not catching on sooner to what was being said. If he had, he have Seto right now. He went to bed in the same state. He was just drifting off when the door opened. He heard a long coat hit the ground. Keeping his eyes closed, Pegasus pretended to be asleep. He smiled, hearing more clothing being shedded. Then there was silence. He felt the blankets get softly pulled down, then the added warmth of another body.

Seto wrapped his arms around the sleeping man, snuggling into the warmth. “I guess even I can be proven wrong.” He muttered.

Pegasus kept his eyes firmly closed. Even when Seto's soft lips brushed past his own. “I'm sorry for getting angry.” Pegasus had a feeling his angel wouldn't have done any of this if he thought the man had been awake.

After he was sure Seto was asleep, his own arms wound around to hold him. “I'm sorry too Seto. I'm sorry for being a stupid fool.” Then he laughed, letting his fingers play softly over the teen's naked chest.

“Aren't we the pair? We're both too prideful to apologize. And we're both too stubborn to admit we need each other. But I can admit it Seto. And soon, I'll be able to tell you when you're awake.” He pressed his cheek into the boy's head. “Just don't push me away when I do. I don't think I could stand it if you ran away again.”
