Hearts of Fire Chapter 7

Nc-17 for language, sex, etc.

Summary: starts off where last chapter ended. Joey tells Bakura about who did it to him. The true villian
confronts Yami and then attacks Yugi and Ryou. Our O/C`s rescue them. Why is Seto at the library as well?
We may never know. Two O/C's are introduced by name the third will have thier name introduced next chapter.

Bakura and Marik finally made it home. "I have to talk to Isis soon. I don`t want to leave you guys and
I`ll have to if I don`t have a talk with her soon."

"Don`t worry love. You won`t go anywhere. I`ll make sure of that."

"You can`t hurt my sister love."

"I know. I know. Just a little threat if she doesn`t see this our way."

"Fine."

They found Joey and Otogi on the couch when they came in.

"Hey you two want to go to the library with us to pick up Ryou."

Joey looked up at Bakura. "What aren`t you two telling us?"

"There was a weird power surge last night and we talked to Yami about.."

"You what. You two are fucking idiots." Joey left in a storm after his outburst.

"Otogi stay here. Marik and I need to have a talk with Joey."

"Yeah, sure." Otogi said nervously. He was worried about the way Joey had blown up. `Maybe my thoughts
weren`t so far off last night.`

Bakura stormed into the bedroom, Marik right behind him. "What the hell was that all about?"

Joey was sitting in the corner crying.

Bakura calmed down some when he saw this. He went over and pulled Joey into his lap. "Tell me what that
was all about? Did Yami have something to do with your injuries?"

"Please, just keep Ryou and Otogi away from Yami. Please? You have to do this, I can`t take anymore. I
just can`t." Joey sunk down, crying. He couldn`t take it.

"Joey, please, tell us what this is about." Marik said, leaning in and hugging him.

Joey hugged him back, but his tears were getting worse. "I..I can`t. Marik, Please. Stay with Otogi. I
think he suspects what is going on."

Marik looked and Bakura and Bakura nodded to him to leave. "I`ll stay with him Joey, just please, talk
to Bakura. Okay?"

"Y..yeah."

Bakura just held him until he calmed down. When he had, Bakura pulled him onto the bed and laid them down,
holding Joey close. Letting him know that he was there. Hoping that Joey would volunteer what was going
on. He hated this, but it seemed that Yami may have lied to him about not knowing what happened in the
prisons back when he was ruler. He didn`t want to believe it, but Joey`s actions and words so far, they
were just confirming it. Unless that power surge had something to do with all of this.

Joey cuddled close to Kura. "Hold me tight. I need to know that you are here while I tell you this."

Bakura held him tightly. "I won`t let go of you, don`t worry about that."

Joey shivered remembering everything. He knew he had to tell him. Ryou and Otogi weren`t safe if he didn`t
and he couldn`t live with himself if something happened. "I was at Yugi`s one night and I was talking to
him about the way I felt for Otogi. I thought that Yami was out. He was supposedly dating Tea at the time
and Yugi was jealous of her, he would invite me over whenever they went out. He was lonely and I could
sympathies. So I would go over. Just talk about anything and everything, you know. I left about 9 that
night and headed home. I was walking threw an alley when I started to get this feeling that I was being
followed. I didn`t think much of it. Most of the people that live where I do know me and they won`t
bother me. This person just kept following me until I was about two blocks from home. They stepped into
an area that was dimly lit and called out to me." Joey whimpered and started to cry again at this.

Bakura grabbed the water and put it to Joey`s lips, he accepted it and sniffled when he was done. Bakura
held him tightly and let his shaking die down, before he nudged him to continue. "Go on. It`s just me here
and you know I won`t tell anyone, and I won`t make any judgements."

Joey snuggled close to Bakura, putting his head under his chin and holding onto his shirt. "I turned around
and looked at the person. They seemed vaguely familiar, but at first I couldn`t make out who it was, not
until he came closer. Then I..I recognized him. It was...was... oh gods this is hard."

"Just take your time. I`m not going anywhere."

Joey took several deep breaths. Holding Bakura close, feeling his strength and feeding off of it. "It was
Y...Yami. It was Yami." he whispered.

Bakura held him close, controlling his anger the best he could. He couldn`t believe this. If Yami was doing
this to Joey then he could very well have known what those guards did to him. He would tear Yami apart if
that was the case.

Joey tugged at Bakura."You okay?"

"I should be asking you that. Not the other way around. I`m sorry. If he`s the one then he would have
known what they did to me. I`m not sure how to handle that."

"I wish it wasn`t true. If there was a way that it was all in my mind I would be ecstatic, but he came back
again and again."

"Joey, remember earlier, I told you there was a power surge here in Domino?"

"Yeah, you don`t think someone could be dressing to look like Yami could you?"

"I`m not sure. We may be grasping at straws for Yugi`s sake. But it could be done. I think we need to get
to the library. Ryou is there with Yugi and if Yami is doing this then Ryou could be in danger."

"Oh no, I need to change and so does Otogi. Have him come up here. As soon as we`re done we can all go. If
this is Yami, then I think it`s time I confront him."

"You are very lucky to have so much strength."

"I get it from my friends. For my friends, I have to be strong. I have to do this for Ryou, Otogi, and Yugi.
Even Yami, that is, if he isn`t the one doing this."

"Good. I`ll send Otogi up and Marik and I will get the car ready."

Joey pulled Bakura close and hugged him. "Thanks for everything."

"No problem."


"Hey Otogi, go up and change. We`re all going to go get Ryou from the library."

"Okay."

"Bakura, did he tell you?" Marik asked.

"Yeah he told me. I can`t say anything, not yet, we may be on the right or the wrong track. There is a
possibility that it may be something that has to do with that power surge or it could be worse."

Marik got up and hugged him. "I love you. Ryou loves you. We`re here for you."

"I know baby. It`s just easier to talk to Joey. I`m sorry. I love you and I`ll tell you all about everything
that happened, I promise. I just want to get some things cleared up first."

"Okay, love. Let`s go get the car out of the garage, Joey and Otogi should be ready soon."


"Joey, where are we going?"

"To go get Ryou from the library."

"Oh okay."


Joey and Otogi got in the back seat as they headed to the library.

Yami closed up the shop and headed for the library, taking the alleyways. He felt something unusual. He
slowed down and listened carefully for any sounds. He soon heard footsteps behind him. He whirled around
and came face to face with..............................himself. "Who are you and why do you look like
me?"

"I am darkness and you destroyed my real body long ago. You and the Three. You destroyed me and my only
love. We would have ruled all of Egypt if not for the four of you."

"What do you mean, the four of us?"

"You don`t remember much of your past, do you?"

"No I do not. I am remembering things slowly. But I do not know this three you speak of."

"They were your most loyal subjects. They were the most powerful of all the people in your kingdom. I hope
that they will not be here to interfere, but if they are they will not stop me. I will become pharoah and
your light and your friends will be my toys." With that he disappeared.

Yami took off headed for the library by any shortcuts he could remember.

Two figures had looked on during the pharoah`s conversation.

"He seems to be very cocky."

"He doesn`t realized what we truly are."

"Won`t it be a shock when he realizes."

"I have no doubt the pharoah shall remember us once he sees us."

"Here you are."

"Did you find anything at the Thief King`s?"

"Yes it seems our little perpatrature is impersonating the pharoah in order to instill doubt in him."

"Yes, that is what we gathered as well."

"So, off to the library to see what he tries?"

"Of course."

They disappeared and reappeared in the library. Watching Ryou and Yugi, waiting for thier perp.

The wait wasn`t very long. Torgo appeared behind them. He didn`t attack quit yet. He seemed to be waiting
until the pharoah got closer so that he could feel his power. The Three waited and watched patiently.
They were in no rush and they wanted to see him increase his power, so that they could assess his power.
After all they had been awoken by him, which meant that he was powerful enough to force thier awakening,
but that didn`t necessarily mean that he was powerful enough to best the pharoah. When the pharoah had
been awakened they had, but they had went back to sleep upon seeing who it was. Now they were awake
again. They would deal with him if it was necessary, but as always, the other mortals, the pharoah and
the thief would have a say in his punishment. She had not made her comrades immortal to stand by her side
for nothing they had their unique talents.

Torgo began increasing his power and they were not impressed, he could not deal with even one of them at
half their normal power, yet he would have a chance at the pharoah and the thief. So they decided to
step in. When he launched his attack she thwarted it easily.

Ryou and Yugi looked up and saw and energy ball headed for them, they ducked but they saw the energy head
back to the man that had launched it. The man flew threw the wall and it exploded. They saw a women and two
men come out of the shadows.

"It seems he did not count on us being here."

"Yugi, are you alright?" Yami yelled as he came threw the doors.

Marik and Bakura along with Joey and Otogi came in as well looking for Ryou, hoping he was not caught in the
blast.

Seto came up to them. "Who are you are you three and what was that about?"

The woman spoke. "We are the Three."

"You are the ones that my look a like spoke of." Yami said.

"What is going on." demanded Bakura.

"King of Thieves, we came to find the one that awoke us." replied the man with black hair.

"Who are you though. The Three makes no sense." said Seto.

At this the woman spoke again. "We are the Three from the pharoah`s court. We are the most powerful beings
in existince."

"None of this is making any sense." said Joey.

The blonde guy looked over at him with a smile. "We came here to find Torgo. He has grown in power, his
power awoke us as did the pharoah`s. We did not see fit to interfere with the pharoah`s destiny, but
Torgo is another matter. His power rivals that of all the item holders together. However it does not come
close to ours. He is the one who has been injuring you using Yami`s face. He has no body of his own, not
after what the pharoah had ordered us to do long ago."

"You talk to much love." said the black haired one.

"You talk to little Rick."

"So we are letting them know our names now." said Rick.

"It does not matter. What Wolf said is true. He will come again for them and we need to take him and let
these people decide his new fate." the woman said.

Yami looked at them. "Did I know you three?"

"Of course. We were there in the palace. Only we used our power only when the shadow magics where to strong
for the pharoah and his High Priests." said Rick.

"So who exactly will he be coming after? The friendship group or me as well?" asked Seto.

The woman spoke again. "He will not attack directly. He will come after your brother first. As he will come
after the mortals that call the Pharoah and the Thief king friends first."

"So this means that I`ve been drug into something that has nothing to do with me again?" sighed Seto.

"No he would come after you and your brother sooner or later anyway. You were the High Priest Seth and you
and your lovers were very powerful. The necromancer was more powerful than the mage, neither of them as
powerful as you." said Rick with a smirk.

"What the hell are you talking about? I don`t even believe in this past life crap. And what is with these
lovers that you are talking about?"

"Have you not been having dreams of them?" The woman asked. "I believe they have been dreaming of you."

"I don`t dream."

"I see. The police are coming. Is there a place that all of you would be safe that we could go to discuss
this matter?" she asked.

Seto spoke up before the rest. "My mansion is large enough for everybody and has the best security around.
We can go there."

"Very well. Rick and Wolf shall take all of you here. I shall retrieve the other that is involved in this.
I will meet you all there." she vanished after that.

They all stared at where she had been until Rick coughed. "Shall we go? The police are outside."

They all shook their heads. To shocked by the recent events to say anything.





Note: Next chapter we find out the third O/C`s name. We also get a rundown of who they are and who Torgo
was/is. Hint the third O/C is named after someone. Not telling who. Read summary at the beginning of the
next story.
