Hidden Shadow

Well this would be my first serious Yu-Gi-Oh fic; I can't say it'll be great but hey, I'll try my best. Expect odd pairings and even weirder situations. I'm not entirely sure where this story is headed, and if it seems confusing, that's okay I'm sure I'll straighten it out earlier. By the way this world might be slightly AU.

Warnings: Yaoi!!! NC-17 Yaoi!! That means all you little kiddies should run and hide!!! If you read this and go tell you're parents how traumatised you were I will not be held responsible. "Ryou, why am I here?" Yami asked for the millionth time. They were standing in front of a museum. It was large and quite beautiful with tall walls that were as white as ivory. To add to it's ancient look the entrance was held up by Roman style pillars.

"Because you said you'd take me!!" Ryou replied exasperated.

"Take you? But Ryou, this is a museum!! You can't do that kind of thing here!!" Yami said in mock shock.

Ryou blushed. "N-Not like that!!! Yo-You said you'd take me to the museum!!" Ryou said still in full blush, "You've been hanging around my yami too much, he's rubbing off on you." He said with a huff.

Yami laughed at the cute little pout on Ryou's lips "Just joking Ryou."

This of course only made Ryou pout more, which in turn made Yami's smile widen.

"Aww!! Zutto kawaii!!" Yami said as he poked Ryou's cheeks. Ryou narrowed his eyes, which only made him look cuter, if Yami's grin was big before this one looked almost painfully large.

Ryou huffed and then got an idea, "If I can't get him to listen to me then I'll just have to resort to other measures." He looked at Yami with puppy eyes.

Yami gasped, "No!! Not the puppy eyes!! Ryou that's practically black mail!!"

Ryou huffed, "Fine then!!" and walked away towards the museum.

Yami smiled, "Ryou!! Come back! I was joking!" Yami said running after him. "I'm sorry!" he yelled. Ryou however was not going to let it so simply drop. He continued walking away till Yami caught up and hugged him around the waist. "Ryou . . ." Yami purred.

"No Yami-sama." Ryou said huffed.

"Yami-sama? I prefer Yami-chan . . ." Yami said as he nuzzled Ryou's neck.

"Iie . . ." Ryou replied weakly, his resolve fading quickly especially with Yami chewing on his weak spot. "Yami-sa-sama, we c-can't"

"Hmm?" Yami mumbled as he chewed on his neck.

"Eww!! You guys get a room!!" A voice called out to them.

"Nani?" Yami asked.

"Heh heh, Yami!!" The voice said as a figure launched it's self at Yami knocking him over and into a heap of limbs.

"Iiae!?!" Yami shouted as he was tackled to the ground. "Yugi!!"

Yugi went into a fit of giggles, "Yep!! That's me!!"

"But what are you doing here Yugi-kun?" Ryou asked.

"Well, Jono said he'd take me . . ." Yugi was cut off.

"Yugi!! Not in front of the Ryous!!" Yami mock gasped and covered Ryou's ears, much to the white haired hikari's irritation, who proceeded to shake Yami's hands off and glare at him.

Yugi glared at him to, "Not like that!!"

"Don't worry Yugi, he's been like that since we got here." Ryou said as he glared (*cough*pouted) at Yami.

"Ahh!! To much cuteness!! I c-can't take it!! I'm melting!!" Yami said and then quickly dodged incoming attacks from Ryou and Yugi. "Itia, itai-yo!! Okay, I give!!" Yami said as he tried, in vain, to avoid any further attacks from the two peeved hikaris.

Yami was just then saved when the three of them heard a voice calling out, "Yugi? Yug, where are you pal?" Jonouchi walked around the front of the museum looking clueless and scratching his head.

"I'm right here Jono!!" Yugi called back while giggling slightly.

"Oh, Yug, good." Jono said as he ran up next to them. "Hey Yami, Ryou."

"Good day Jonouchi-kun." Ryou said politely with a curt bow.

"Hello Jonouchi." Yami said, nodding his head to him.

"Get suckered into this as well?" Jono asked Yami.

"Yep." Yami answered.

Ryou and Yugi pouted. "We're right here you know!!" They yelled in union.

"Oh, well, let's go in!!" Yami said quickly, while walking towards the museum and pulling Ryou along.

A shadow swirled through the air in a dark world where no light could pierce. A shrouded figure sat upon a throne made of bones and gold while drinking some sort of red substance out of a goblet that looked like a skull. This man looked like someone you would not dare oppose. His very aura seemed to glow with an evil that out dates all humans and most knowledge. He looked to the left to see another figure move towards his demented throne.

"You called for me?" A sinister voiced called out to the other it as it waddled towards him. This creature looked very gangly with large white teeth peeking out of its mouth.

"Yes, I did. I need some information." The shrouded figure replied.

"About?" The first sinister voice asked.

"The Pharaoh." The second voice asked.

"The Pharaoh? What is it that you wish to know? He has the puzzle, the ability to see into people's souls and he wields the power of the God cards." The first said.

"Precisely, now tell me more of the puzzle, it's origin." The second asked.

"Hmm . . . the puzzle, it's an ancient artifact in which the Pharaoh's soul was sealed. The high priest Akunadin, who was also the uncle of the Pharaoh, created it. He used 99 sacrifices at the village of Kuru Eruna to create the Sennen items." The first answered.

"What more?" the second asked.

"The spell to weave these items was from the Book of the Dead, also named Belemfal." The first answered.

"Where is this alleged book now?" The second asked.

"It is with that villages sole survivor, Bakura, as he goes by now, the tomb robber." The first replied.

"I see. You are dismissed." The second said with a wave of his hand. As soon as it (the first voice) disappeared the first stood off his throne. He smiled with a dark humour. "Now all the pieces of the puzzle have fallen together." He said with an evil laugh.

Wow, that last one was a bitch to write. I didn't want to reveal who anyone was without it sounding too corny. I hope I pulled it off. I think it went pretty well. Anyway please review!!
