Hunters at Midnight 10
Author's Notes: I love vampires I think they are perhaps one of the coolest things ever. So I decided to take YuGiOh and create a Vampire story. Any who all the guys are vampires and all the girls are hunters; they are the descendants of a long line of a clan of Demon Hunters. Characters from the book `Dracula' are owned by Bram Stoker and the YGO characters are owned by their creator Kazuki Takahashi. I want to thank Sm-candy for giving me ideas for this story and letting me use the characters Rosalie and Zelene Calvert.

Flash back****************************************************
Rashid was watching a woman with black hair and blue eyes; he had been watching her for the past few months. The simple tunic she wore made her look very attractive he grinned from his carriage and motioned for his guards to let him out, when they did he began to follow her. He noticed her occasionally looking behind her as if she could sense her was following her. She entered an alley and made her way out of the city and into the open desert, Rashid continued to follow her. When they got a couple miles out of the city she whirled around on him, the light of the full moon behind her.

"Who are you and why are you following me?" she demanded.

"My name fair maiden is Rashid," said Rashid taking her hand and kissing it. "And it would give me great pleasure to have you for company tonight."

Isis began to step back she knew who he was, Rashid was a man well known in Egypt he came from a very rich family. She had to admit he was very handsome but she had to take care of her younger brothers.

"I can't," she said slowly almost fearing his anger at her refusal.

"Oh?" he questioned raising an eyebrow.

"I have to take this food back for my younger brothers," she said holding up the bag she had been carrying.

"Very well then," said Rashid walking past her. "Then I will join you."

"Hey wait!" said Isis. "You can't just invite yourself!"

"Oh and why not?" asked Rashid turning.

"Be, because," faltered Isis.

Rashid chuckled and stared into her eyes, before pulling her in to kiss him. Isis shoved back a minute later and slapped him across the face hard as she could; however she was confused when his face didn't turn like most males who tried to do that to her. Rashid just chuckled again and wiped at the red mark that was left from being hit by her.

"Well," he said after awhile. "Are you going to lead me to where you live Isis?"

"Al, alright," said Isis. "Wait a minute! I never told you my name!"

"Yes," said Rashid reaching out with his powers. "You did."

"I did?" she asked her eyes blank.

"You did."

"Oh I must have forgotten," she said slowly her eyes coming back into focus.

"Good," muttered Rashid more to her then to himself. "Now come pet show me where you live."

Isis nodded and led him to the underground house she now shared with her two younger brothers. Who did not like this houseguest nor did they trust him with their older sister.

Rashid sighed and opened his eyes again looking at the wall ahead of him. He had almost forgotten their first meeting and how he had to practical play with her mind to get closer to her. Of course the fact that once he had gotten closer to her, and then made her his lover; hadn't helped the situation when he had turned her and her brothers into vampires. He frowned wondering if he had completed the job with Isis since she didn't seem to have the same need for blood to survive like the rest of them; although, he reached into his pants and pulled out the necklace, and wondered if this was the reason she didn't need blood. The necklace had a cat setting on a blood red stone, he frowned and returned the necklace to his pants deciding to wait till moon full to see what happened, in the mean time he looked up to see Marik walking towards him.

"Go hunting brother I will watch over my sister," said the new male.

Rashid nodded and left the siblings alone together.

Isis looked up when she heard Marik's voice, and blinked when he called Rashid brother.

`I thought he hated Rashid,' thought Isis. `Why is he calling Rashid brother now?'

"Because," said Marik coming to stand before her. "He truly is our brother."

Rosalie sat in her own citadel and looked around her study, her eyes were brought to the large painting over the fireplace, that was more then two hundred years old (A/N: I am guessing on that). The painting was a picture of her, Van Helsing, and Arora. The girl was their half breed daughter; they had kept her hidden from the eyes of Dracula and the others. She sobbed the man she loved had been killed by one of his own men because of Arora.

"Husband," she whispered softly tears following down her cheeks. "Even though we can not be together in the after life, because my sins are too great, and we can never be together in another life because I am soulless, you are still alive in my heart. I will do whatever it takes to see that our daughter is happy no matter what that is that makes her happy."

She walked out of the study and down the hall toward her door; she stepped outside and looked around at the night. She had told her own daughter a lie, Arora had no idea that she, Rosalie, was her actually mother. Out of all the women the king choice he had to choose her daughter almost as if he knew that they were blood related. Maybe this was her punishment for giving birth to a half breed daughter. She would save her daughter no matter what the cost.

Malik, Bakura, Mokuba, Duke and Tristan ran through the trees sniffing out the last of the hunters: Tea, Okami, and Arashi. They wanted to find them because killing a Hunter was fun; however changing one was even better.

Rashid stalked through the empty streets looking for a new victim, he saw one far away that had black hair and blue eyes the woman was a whore he could tell by the clothing she wore. He growled the woman should not have such coloring of hair and eyes and allow herself to be used. He walked up to her slowly pasting a smile on his lips. He watched the female paste a sultry smile of her own on her lips when she saw him coming toward her.

"Looking for a date?" she asked smoothly.

"Yes now that you mention it I am," said Rashid. "Shall we find a hotel room somewhere?"

"Sounds like fun," smirked the female.

Rashid lead her to a hotel room and brought the room for the night, once they got in there he turned to her and saw that she had already started to remove her clothing. He smirked and felt his fangs already growing when he saw her neck. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her chest.

"Well, well," she whispered huskily. "Looks like someone is eager to start."

Rashid just smirked and placed a hand over her lips before biting her neck piercing her skin. Her scream was muffled against his hand and he continued to drain the blood from her body until she had no more. He dropped her to the floor and wiped at the blood on his mouth.

"You don't deserve such beauty," he snarled before slipping silently out of the window and into the night, back to someone he believed did deserve the dark beauty of the Black Lands.

Tea, Okami, and Arashi walked into the back of the cave and stared down at the young brown haired female with bandaged wounds.

"How is she?" asked Tea to her cousin.

"She is healing slower then a normal human," said Arashi. "And I can't explain why."

"Don't worry," said Okami. "I am sure you will find out the reason, in the mean time what are we going to do about the others? I mean breaking into the castle is suicide."

"I know," said Tea. "But what other choice have we?"

"I think we should try and see if we can find them first before we bursting into the castle for no reason and get caught ourselves."

"Well do you have any ideas?!" demanded Tea.

"See if you can find Pernia," said Okami. "She would be a great help for us if we do this suicide mission."

"Alright," sighed Tea. "I'll see what I can do."

Tea left the room and entered another room of the cave that had an opening at the top that allowed the light of the full moon to filter in; she knelt on the floor and took out her cards concentrating on them. It happened almost instantly she saw flashes of Pernia and the Vampire-Mage Seto, she saw them hovering above the city. Her eyes snapped open, Seto had her and if they were going to save her they had to work fast.

"Girls," she shouted rushing into the room. "I know where Pernia is, but she is in trouble we have got to work fast!"

"Right," nodded Okami. "Let's go!"

Together the three of them rushed out of the cave and across the rocks that helped them stay dry from the river, the moment they touched land five vampires landed in front of them.

"Damn," hissed Okami getting into a fighting position.
