Yami rolled over in bed and realized Ryou wasn't beside him anymore.

"Ryou?" Yami asked not raising his voice for the first time in hours.

Ryou slipped out of the bathroom wearing only a towel. "Yes?" Ryou asked softly evading his eyes from Yami and clutching onto the soft fabric of his towel.

"Come here." Yami said almost emotionless as usual.

Ryou sighed but did as he was told, Yami could have left him bedridden last night but went easy on him; he figured it had something to do with his phone call to Yugi when he left him to call his Hikari last night. Yami turned Ryou around pulling the towel from Ryou's body carelessly, as he inspected his back. He sighed deeply.

"Yugi is coming over sometime today…don't you think for a moment that I'm finished with you." Yami said grabbing his arm wrenching it painfully behind his back. "In fact why don't we pick up where we left off last night?" Yami said throwing him face down on the bed as he positioned himself behind him quickly.

Ryou clenched his teeth waiting for penetration when the doorbell rang. Yami scowled as moved off of Ryou.

"I'll get it, you get dressed." Yami said roughly as Ryou scrambled from the bed over to his dresser quickly.

Yami mumbled something under his breath as he went to answer the door expecting Yugi but it ended up being Seto. Yami grew cross almost immediately when he saw him.

"What the hell are you doing here again?" Yami asked angrily

"I'm entitled to visit Ryou too…what are you doing here?" Seto asked suspicious that Yami was over at Ryou's at such an early hour.

Yugi walked up the stairs to hear the heated voices of Seto and Yami; he could tell that Yami was about to punch the living daylights out of Seto so he intervened.

"Seto!" Yugi called walking up to the two "Fancy running into you here huh?" Yugi said bright and optimistically.

"Yeah…" Seto said glaring at Yami

"Is Ryou okay Yami? I hope you didn't mind staying the night, thanks." Yugi said giving his Yami a close hug of appreciation as they all walked inside.

"You asked him to stay the night?" Seto asked

"Yeah, I was worried about Ryou cause he has been acting kind of strange lately so I asked Yami to keep an eye on him." Yugi explained oblivious to what was actually happening to his friend.

Ryou stepped down the stairs quietly and listened to the conversation downstairs.

"Why else would I be here?" Yami said defending himself from Seto.

"Well maybe so you could hur…" Ryou cut off Seto

"Yugi, Seto…it's good for you to come by, how are you?" Ryou said slightly nervous that Seto almost told Yami that he had said something to him.

"Never mind." Seto said sitting down the whole story about Yami spending the night checked out but something still didn't seem right.

"Would any of you like some tea?" Ryou asked trying to be a good host despite the obvious tension in the air.

"I'm just happy you're okay." Yugi said giving him a soft hug

Although Yugi didn't mean to his arms and hands pressed upon his cuts and bruises all over Ryou's back that Yami had put upon him last night. Ryou was so stunned he screamed throwing Yugi off him harshly as they both landed on the floor. Yugi looked like he had just been stabbed in the back, Seto looked at Ryou curiously too, and Yami…he looked ready to kill Ryou for hurting Yugi yet again.

"I…I'm sorry, I hurt my back and you…you startled me is all…" Ryou could tell Yugi wasn't buying it at all.

"Why can't you just say you hate me? It's plainly obvious that you can't even stand me touching you!" Yugi yelled tears welling in his eyes.

"T-that's not it!" Ryou tried to counter but had nothing else to defend his behavior with.

"We would all be much better off if you would just admit that you hate me!" Yugi yelled tears falling from his face.

Ryou felt tears begin to form in his eyes, he couldn't take it anymore. He was tired of being nice to Yugi all the time and for what? To have Yami more and more pissed off at him when Yugi was done making his life harder?

"Fine…I hate you…" Ryou said softly letting his gaze fall to the floor "Is that what you wanted to her? That I utterly and totally despise you that you are the one that has caused me so much pain and devastation than I ever thought humanly possible? Or is that what you wanted to hear? Because it's true! All this shit! All this pain its all your fault!" Ryou screamed taking out all his anger on the fragile boy in front of him as he ran from the house.

Ryou trembled on the ground as he began to sob onto the hard wood floor. He suddenly felt a huge flash of guilt…he was being exactly like Yami taking out his anger on someone who didn't deserve it…the only difference was that he felt terrible about it and Yami had no remorse. He kept his gaze on the floor he knew that Seto was in shock and Yami probably had indescribable rage written all over his face because of his outburst.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Yami screamed "As if you don't hurt him enough on accident you have to go and do it on purpose!" Yami yelled almost advancing on him but remembered Seto was still there so he stopped himself and ran out of the house as well to go after Yugi.

Seto knelt beside Ryou placing his hand on Ryou's back who immediately slapped his hand away.

"Don't touch me!" Ryou screamed "I hurt my back, weren't you listening!?"

Seto simply nodded his head in response trying to understand why Ryou was acting like this. He carefully slipped his hands underneath Ryou's shirt lifting it up over his back; Ryou tensed but didn't stop him from looking. Seto winced at the fresh pink and red scars that covered his back and the bruises the marred his pale skin.

"God Ryou…I'm so sorry, I should've believed you when you told me what was happening to you." Seto said not being able to tear his gaze from his wounds.

"It's okay, I wouldn't have believed me either." Ryou said trying to stand but had to use the wall for support.

Seto went to his side helping him upstairs as they went into the closest bedroom. Ryou sighed heavily as he sat on the bed.

"Would you get me something?" Ryou asked looking at him innocently.

"Anything." Seto said

"Aspirin…it's in the bathroom that's in my room." Ryou said swallowing as he held his side, as if by talking he had caused himself more pain.

"Sure." Seto said as he left the room.

Seto quickly found the aspirin but decided he should probably get the first aid kit as well; he needed to at least bandage the wounds so that they wouldn't get infected. Seto grumbled slightly when it was nowhere in the bathroom so he decided to look in Ryou's room. Seto shook his head his room was totally trashed, shelves were knocked over, things were all over the floor, the bed sheets were thrown about as well and Seto could see the red stains upon the bed mattress. He shook his head of the appearance of the room and began to search looking under the bed finding the kit and quickly leaving the room. He sighed heavily as he shut Ryou's bedroom door behind him leaning against it with concern written all over his face. He had to get Ryou away from this place…he couldn't let him stay any longer he would take him away tonight willing or unwilling.

Sorry about my updates being all late and such, I'm at my sisters house and I'll be here for the next week so please do not expect to much from me because her comp is kind of crazy so it works sometimes and sometimes not. Anyway I hope you liked it!
