Chapter 1: So, What are You?

"Yeeeeeeaaah! Come on! Come on! MOVE YOU ASSHOLE! That's what I thought. Can't catch me!!" Jounouchi yelled, his fingers rapidly pressing various buttons on the controller of Yuugi's PS2. Yuugi shook his head as he watched his best friend out drive the police on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

"Of course they can't catch you, Jounouchi. They'll wreck your car, get out and then wander around aimlessly. You have the 'cops have no AI' cheat on." Yuugi pointed out, fingering the puzzle around his neck lightly. Jou grinned at Yuugi over his shoulder.

"Yeah. Ain't it great." he said, turning back to the teevee. The car he was currently driving smashed into a tree and burst into flame. Jounouchi pressed buttons rapidly, making the guy climb out of the car and run like hell. Soon, a loud boom was heard. His car had exploded. Yuugi shook his head.

"I hope you really don't drive like that when you are old enough to get your license, Jou-kun." the smaller boy said. Jounouchi shook his head.

"Nah, you know me, Yuug'. I fight like a Kung fu expert on Tekken and drive like a maniac on this, but, you know I don't really do that." Jou said, pressing a button. His character on screen pushed someone off a moped and he climbed on it, taking off. He began to toy with the guys radio stations until KChat flashed across the top of the screen.

"..and she says Thor, I'm getting me stomach stapled..." the false Viking voice said in the game. Jounouchi smashed into a tree and flew off the moped. Yuugi shook his head.

"You suck at this game." Yuugi said, laughing a bit.

"No I don't. I just don't care." Jou said, picking up his moped and driving a bit only to crash and fly off again. Yuugi began to crack up, unable to help himself. Jounouchi flashed him a cheesy grin over his shoulder. The events on screen took place in the aforementioned order until Jou finally reached the save point and saved, before cutting off the system.

"So, watcha wanna do, Yuug'?" he asked, cutting off the television. He climbed on Yuugi's bed, next to his best friend and looked up at the ceiling. Yuugi looked over at his blonde friend and opened his mouth to respond, when he noticed a rather obvious bulge in Jou's pants. Yuugi's face flushed slightly.

"Um...Jou?" Yuugi said.

"Hmm?" the other responded, looking at his friend. He noticed the light pink tint on Yuugi's cheeks.

"You okay, man?" he asked. Yuugi nodded.

"Who would you go out with...guy wise?" Yuugi asked timidly. Jounouchi blinked and looked up, not ever really thinking about it.

"Ryou Bakura." he said, moments later. "What about you?" he asked.

"Seto." Yuugi said. Jounouchi's jaw dropped and his eyes widened.

"Kaiba?!" he said, almost sounding horrified. Yuugi nodded again.

"He's good looking." he said. Jounouchi sat back and slowly nodded.

"Yeah, I guess." he admitted.

The boys continued to talk late into the night about various things. The subject of which girls were hot, duel monsters, and the newest games for the best systems were out. Yuugi brought up that Seto had invented yet another break through in the duel monsters holographic dueling system. When asked how he knew, Yuugi simply shrugged and said that he sat behind him in a class and was looking over his shoulder at his laptop screen when he should have been paying attention.

"You're so lucky, Yuug'. You're in the top ten in the schools test scores, you can afford to fuck off every now and then." Jou said, sighing. Yuugi chuckled and looked at him.

"You could too, if you studied a bit." he said. "And who are you talking about having luck? You always manage to score so high on tests when it really counts." Jou shrugged.

"Ah, I dunno." he said. He blinked and tilted his head to the side a bit, looking at Yuugi. Yuugi quirked an eyebrow.

"What?" he asked. Jounouchi reached out and touched the leather that circled his neck. He reached under it and slid several fingers under it, tugging on it gently.

"This. It's always kinda bugged me. Why do you wear it?" he asked.

"I dunno. It's just something I've always worn. I'm not hiding anything." he said. Jounouchi released his fingers fro, the belt and rubbed his fingers over the skin of Yuugi's neck gently.

"Yuugi? Jounouchi? Dinner is ready!" Sugoroku called out through the door.

"We'll be down in a sec, grandpa!" Yuugi responded, a nervous grin breaking out across his face. The two boys waited until the sound of footsteps retreated from Yuugi's bedroom door before both burst out into laughter.

"Oh, man! That....what a rush!" Jounouchi said through his gales of mirth. Yuugi was clutching at his chest.

"I know. Wow. I've never been so scared in my life!" he said, running his fingers through his red, black and blonde spikey hair. Jounouchi stood up from the bed, and looked at his hands. They were shaking.

"Whoa, man." he said, still laughing a bit. Yuugi stood up as well, feeling his hands also trembling.

"Yeah, I know. Mine too." he said, holding his hands up.

"Well, lets go eat! I'm starved!" he said, opening Yuugi's bedroom door. Yuugi walked after his friend as the two walked down the hall, Jounouchi joking with the other boy, who laughed the whole way down to the kitchen.

AS: That took so long to get through

Bakura: I don't see why. I typed up the hard parts for it.
