Chapter 7:Late-Night Snack

Walking out of the trees into Domino you looked for the first person on the streets. You spotted a hooded male walking towards a bar. You stopped him and pulled on his shoulder spinning him around. You started growing your fangs before you were going to attack.

You stopped your fangs abruptly, "RYOU! What are you doing here?!"

You were stunned at who you were looking at. Ryou stood before you hiding his hair as if he didn't want to be noticed by anyone.

"___? Is that you?"

You came back to reality as Ryou waved his hand in front of your face. "Hello anyone in there?"

You snapped back, "What are you doing here? And why are you out so late? And is this a BAR?!" You stared at him and grew your fangs back to original size.

He looked back at you with fear in his eyes. He looked like your eyes were knives stabbing him to death. "I was just going for a walk.....And I just happened to past this bar when you caught me. And I might want to ask you the same questions."

You gulp down the last of you spit. Your throat was getting dry from the lack of blood not washing down the saliva. "I was....um...looking for Bakura, and you looked like him so I...um...I obviously mistaken you for someone else.............gotta go...you know; I have to go home and eat!" You run off in the other direction of where Ryou was walking.

You thought, `That was so close! If I bit Ryou, Bakura would kill be, no matter what I use as an excuse.' Not watching where you were going you ran into something hard. You fell to the floor and looked up at the thing you ran into. `Crap!' you thought.

"I guess you thought my Hikari would be a great dinner?"

`I am so dead...' was running through your brain as Bakura lifted you off the ground and put you on your feet.

"If I ever catch you again with Ryou, I'll make you feel like you never wished you were born."

"Too late, I already think that."

You smirked at Bakura as he started to answer your statement but cut off from a voice yelling at the both of you, "Hey Tami! You found him." You slap your forehead as Ryou ran up to the both of you.

"Yea I found him alright...." You stop and turn around to face the running Ryou a few feet away. He tripped, but you caught him before he hit the ground and put him on his feet.

"I didn't realize how strong a girl could be." Ryou scratched his head as you turn to walk away.

"Hey...wait...since we are all here, do you want to grab a bite to eat?"

"Maybe tomorrow Ryou...I was going to catch something to eat." You emphasized catch real well and turned around.

"Oh alright...how about you Bakura?"

"Same with me....I'll meet you back at the house Hikari."

You heard this in the background and started running into the forest not too far away. After turning around to see if the coast was clear, you walk back out and go to the empty bar, hoping you'll find one person in their that won't recognize you.

You open the door and see the bar tender cleaning the tables. You look to your right and see one man sitting at a table alone.

"Hey you over there! I have something special for you..." you moved a finger seducing him to come to you. The drunk got up and followed you out into the woods.

The knife was still in your boot as you slide it out. You did the same thing as you've always done: stab him and bite into him while he's loosing strength to fight back.

You drop the man as he turns to dust and lick your lips. "Now that I am finally hungered free....I guess that I can go back home and get proper shut eye without the freaky dreams with Bakura in it."

Walking over the dust you make your way to the edge of the forest and into the broken down town.

"Where have you been?" Yami landed right in front of you.

"I got caught up in a triangle of confusion." Seto and Joey did the same but landing on the sides of Yami.

"Triangle?"

You roll your eyes at Ryou, "Yes Joey....a triangle of confusion tonight."

"Of what exactly?" Seto was asking the next question.

You roll your eyes again, "Dinner, Ryou and Bakura...............? What are you? My parents...? Now leave me alone." You snapped at them like they were completely and utterly bugging you to death.

You walked in between them and headed towards the house.

"Wait....with Bakura?"

"You got that right Yami...good thinking...you are actually catching on faster than I thought." Yami tackled you from the comment you just made.

"Just because you are more powerful doesn't mean you have to insult us every second. You know I liked you more when you were a mortal: A Kind-hearted soul."

You pushed him off of you, "The ___ you knew is gone....all that left is hate, anger, and lifeless breathing.....If you haven't noticed I have NO heart or SOUL!" You started yelling, "EITHER DO YOU....I can't wait till you lose all your emotions! Then I wouldn't have to deal with this!" You turned around, but got tackled by all three of them.

They pinned you down, Joey was holding your arms, Yami was holding your legs down and Seto stood looking down at you with disgust.

"___! You are going to listen to us right here right now!" I looked into Seto's burning red eyes. "What the heck is wrong with you?!"

"What is wrong with me? What is wrong with you...is the proper question! You know if it wasn't for me you'd be dead by now...all three of you. You'd be dust, just like the mortals. If it wasn't for me, you'd be living on the streets with nothing to hide you from the light!"

Seto kicked you, even though you couldn't feel it, it dislocated your leg, "Thanks Kaiba....now I am gonna have to fix that later." Your growled at him and pushed Yami and Joey off of you. You got up and moved your leg back into its socket. "You know I don't want to deal with this." You jumped and landed in a tree. You kept jumping from tree to tree till you reached the tallest one and sat on the top. You looked at the moon, "Why? Why me?!" You questioned it like it was gonna answer your question that you have been wanted answered ever since you were turned.

"Because it was destiny." Bakura appeared right besides you levitating. "Nice fighting back there, and not to mention, great seduction with the man."

"You watched me that whole time?!" You stood on the tree, but lost your balance and sat back down and stared at the moon again.

"You really need to learn how to levitate."

"I don't feel the need to learn. Jumping, running and walking is perfectly fine with me." You turned away from the moon and looked at the ground. Yami, Joey and Kaiba were watching both of you at the top of the trees.

You talked more to yourself but with earshot for Bakura. "Great....what am I prey for all of you?!" You looked away from them and back at the moon.

"We will always be behind your back, whether you like it or not."

You stood up and made sure my balance was correct and looked at Bakura, "What are you saying?"
