Chapter 8:WHAT?!

"We will always be behind your back, whether you like it or not."

You stood up and made sure your balance was correct and looked at Bakura, "What are you saying?"

"Isn't it obvious?" You shook your head at him. "Haven't you ever wondered why Yami tried to defend you from me?"

"It clearly hasn't come to my intellect…so would you mind tell me what you are talking about?" You clenched your fists. You wanted to pound him right then and there for trying to waste your time.

"___…" He levitated over to you, "You are their queen." He cupped your chin while you stood on top of the trees and pulled upward.

You could feel your legs being lifted away from the tree tops. `Bakura's levitating me! But why?'

"What do you mean I am their queen?"

"You certainly are clueless." He kept a firm grip on your chin while looking into your eyes. You tore away from them and looked down at the trees. Yami, Seto and Joey were still watching the both of you like a Hawk…but you were the one in the sky. You felt the same warm sensation again just like the first time Bakura tenderly touched you. You were still staring down as we got higher.

"Bakura stop…..! I really don't like high places!" He still had your chin in his hand and pulled on it.

"Look at me ___." You turned your eyes on him, "You will be ok as long as you are within my grasp." He let go of your chin and wrapped his arm around your waist. You still rose higher and higher in the night sky. You were terrified from the incline of feet and I started to quiver. "Just relax." He pulled you closer to him as you both stopped in mid air. "Now as I was saying…..You are their queen."

"How did I become their queen? I didn't marry anyone and I sure as heck didn't have se-"

"___….I bit you twice, giving you the privilege of having some of my powers." He looked intently into your eyes as you stared into his chocolate ones.

~*~*~*~* FLASHBACK

You were tied to the wall with chains on your arms holding you up and chains on your legs. You stillyou're your outfit on of (insert your fav outfit) on from last week. It was pitch black; the moon wasn't even out. Bakura had bitten you turning you into a vampire. You didn't know where you were or who you were anymore until you heard foot steps coming down a hallway of some sort. You finally realized why you were here from the sudden sounds. You heard a creek as a door opened up on the other side of the room.

"I was wondering when you would wake up." Bakura took steps towards you. "And I guess the transformation in complete." He stood in front of you as he said this. Your chin was nestled on your collar bone. He lifted it and looked you in the eyes. "Well aren't you a sight for sorry eyes?" He laughed at his own joke as you were chained to the wall with nothing to do except for look out the window to the right. He stopped laughing and made you look into his eyes. "Now ___….prepare for the worst." He moved my head to the side. You couldn't fight back with the little strength that lingered in your body. You could feel his icy cold breath on your neck as he slowly bit into the solid flesh and blood of your neck and to feed his hungry stomach for the second time.

"That really hurt the second time." You pulled your hand up and rubbed the left side of your neck. `He sure is HOT!' `Shut up YOU!' You continued starting at him and watched as his lips opened to give another explanation again. It was either that or he would insult you for the second or third time.

"Biting you three times…will make you the queen of all vampires."

"But you haven't bitten me a third t-" You cut yourself off, "That's why you brought me up here!"

"It's about time you caught on." He smirked, "Ever since I met you I have had feelings for you. And you are the only one that makes me have a lukewarm awareness come over me when I touch your skin…….Please ___, stand by my side and we can rule the world of darkness…together."

Together kept ringing in your ears over and over and over again like an echo. You looked at him, "I would have to say the same for you about the touch, but I can't be queen. I hate being a vampire period."

"Listen….I am sorry what I did to you 5000 years ago. I know I never should have bit you. And I know I never should have let you die back then with the stake through the heart…but please reconsider" He leaned in and started inhaling the smell from your neck. You laid your head on his shoulder as his tongue thrashed and snaked on your neck, "You taste sooo good." He hands went up and down your back as you stood with your head on his shoulder.

"I am sorry to disappoint you milord….but I can't be your queen or anyone else's." You pushed him away. You suddenly realized that doing this would make you fall. Coldness replaced the warm feeling that you had as you plummeted to the ground. You quickly grabbed a branch and held onto it and jumped off landing on another one regaining your balance.

Finally reaching the bottom, You ran towards your shack with Seto, Yami, Joey and Bakura on your tail.
