Chapter 9: Hideout

"I am sorry to disappoint you milord….but I can't be your queen or anyone else's." You pushed him away. You suddenly realized that doing this would make you fall. Coldness replaced the warm feeling that you had as you plummeted to the ground. You quickly grabbed a branch and held onto it and jumped off landing on another one regaining your balance.

Finally reaching the bottom, You ran towards your shack with Seto, Yami, Joey and Bakura on your tail.

(this time)

You ran to the door and kicked it open and closed it right behind you. You quickly pushed the couch in front of the door. "That won't hold any of them. Their strength is way to strong." You glanced at the couch and the door trying to be forced open already.

"___…we all know you're in there." Bakura's voice was angered.

You turned and headed up the stairs, `Maybe I could loose them if I go out the window.' You ran up the stairs carefully not to make any noise. You ran into one of the rooms and opened the window and stepped out. You landed on the ground when you heard, "She's not in here."

Yami sounded as if he wanted to kill you.

"Check up stairs." Bakura was barking orders like he was the king of the world.

You ignored them and ran as fast as your legs would carry you. `If I go to Ryou, Bakura would know. He might expect me to go to Yugi or Tristan. That leaves Tea and Mokuba. Ah man…..I choose Mokuba over Tea anytime!' Your direction changed to the Kaiba mansion.

You ran as fast as you could go. There wasn't anything stopping you from the mansion and you weren't going to let anything get in your way. You can't breathe so running forever was easy. You reached the mansion just in time to see that the lights were still on. `Shouldn't he be asleep?' you asked yourself that question as you walked up to the door. You knocked and pretty soon the butler answered the door.

"Ah…um welcome…Miss…?"

"(last name)….I am here to speak to Mr. Kaiba or Mokuba to be more specific, since his older brother disappeared a little more than a week ago."

He looked at you up and down. You weren't breathing hard, cuz you CAN'T breathe at all! (anywayz) The butler looked down at you, "I am sorry but Master Kaiba is asleep."

"No I am not!" A raven haired kid popped up behind the butler.

"Master Kaiba what are you doing up? You should be in bed." The butler was astonished. (a/n: just imagine a butler with eyes to big for his head! HAHAHA LOL…ah man that cracks me up! *dodges apple* Narrator: An apple a day KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY! *starts chasing Tamra* AAAHHHHH)

You look at the little kid and agree with the butler, "You know he is right…."

"But?" He interrupts both of you and looks at you, "Tamra is that you?"

You turn around, "Where?! Where's Tamra?" you peered into the darkness; you saw four figures watching you from the distance. `Darn-it!' you thought as you turn back around only to be knocked down by the little kid jumping on you.

"Where have you been?! I haven't seen you since…s-since…"

You pick him off you and put him on his feet, "Don't remind your self kid…now…I think someone needs to go to bed!"

"You're avoiding the question." He looked at you and put his hands on his hips and stared at you. You forced a grin, cuz you had no emotions. (a/n: You know I think you already know that! So why do I keep reminding you?!)

"Well to answer it…I have been around, you know a vampire needs to eat."

Mokuba burst out laughing while you felt pain in your stomach. "*laughs* you are so *laughs* crazy* you know *laughs* there is no *laughs* such thing *laughs* as *laughs* vampires!" He fell to the floor and started rolling like crazy.

"OK! OK you want the truth?!" The pain stopped while Bakura was waiting in the background with Joey, Yami and Seto at the same time listening to your whole conversation.

Mokuba got on his hands and knees and looked at you in the eyes as he got to his feet from the ground. "Yes... I want the truth."

"You didn't kidnap anyone did you?" The butler interrupted the conversation you and Mokuba were having.

You quickly put a shocked look on your face, "Listen here Butler! I am not kidnapping anyone…how many times do I have to tell you?!" you stopped yelling and stared at the man behind Mokuba.

"I am sorry miss, It's just that you disappeared the same time Master Seto Kaiba did." He paused, "Not to mention Yami Moto, and Joey Wheeler."

You laughed an evil laugh, "That is the best thing I have heard all my life! Man, how do you come up with these things? I swear you watch too much TV when you are not babysitting Mokuba."

"I do not need a babysitter!" Mokuba stopped his foot and stared at you with an angry look in his face.

You backed off lifting your hands in the air, "Alright, alright…no need to get mushy."

Mokuba looked at the ground, "I am not mushy. AND I WANT THE TRUTH!" you backed up a step as he smirked at you with his outburst.

You smirked back, "You CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" Both of you burst you laughing, yours was mostly evil and forced while his was his normal cheerful self. (A/n: and by the way, I don't own what ever movie those lines came from!) You stared down at Mokuba with a sparkle in your eyes.

Mokuba waved a hand in your face, "Hello would you mind coming down to earth and back to reality?" You blinked out of it. You were caught up in you own thoughts on being a mortal again.

"HELLO?! Anyone in there." You stood for a couple of second before answering his question.

"NO…..I am a brainless freak and I think someone needs to go to bed." You smirked at the little kid in front of you.

"Ahh do I have to?" He gave you the puppy dog eyes.

Playing along with him you answered, "NO NOT THE LOOK STOP IT I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY LONGER!" you fell to the ground covering your eyes and smiled as he laughed again.

"Come on Tami (a/n: or you can put your name in…doesn't matter) …can't I stay up a little longer?" You stood up again.

You looked at the butler, "What time is it?" you stood up straight brushing off the excess dirt from the ground.

"It's about 2 am or 1:56 am." He answered you back in a proper manner.

"Well spoken…anywayz only till 2." You smirked to see if he would catch the time difference.

"OK!" He jumped up and down and you mentally laughed and evil laugh. `He doesn't get it…oh well he'll find out soon enough.'

He ran into the house, passed the butler and up the stairs that were clearly in front of view as you open the door. The butler stepped back as you passed him and glanced backwards towards the four men glaring at you.
