Reason one: I was just discharged from the hospital Thursday night and my leg was in a lot of pain. Reason two: Hurricane Charley, the bastard, decided to hit Lee County Friday! I had no power up until two days ago! So, now that I have internet access and my leg doesn't hurt too badly, I am updating! Go me, I am a trooper! Anyways, enough of my babbling! PLEASE R&R!! :D
Disclaimer: Who else hates that white shirt Yami/Atemu wears in Ancient Egypt? Yeah, well if I owned Yu-Gi-Oh, he'd be bare-chested all the time!! And of course, since I don't own it, he wears the ugly thing like ALL the time. Except in that one episode when he is waking up in bed

Chapter Six: Moonlight Shadow
Bakura walked along the Nile. He was near Yami's house. He didn't exactly know what had made him walk there, but he went along with his gut. His eyes widened at the sound of a boat docking. Walking closer to the dock, the teen hid himself behind some bushes. And he watched, shocked, as Yami leaned forward and captured the girl with him in a heart-warming kiss.
When they pulled away, Bakura was happy to get a good look at the girl. She was very pretty with short brown hair and bright azure eyes. The white haired boy felt his cheeks grow warm just by looking at her. She was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen. 'I want her,' he decided.
"Teana...I-I'm sorry...I-"
Yami didn't get to finish his sentence as the girl, Teana, pulled him into a kiss of her own.
'I want her...she'll be mine...'
He ran off towards the local town tavern and stepped inside, looking around for a familiar face. Smirking when he found it, he approached a boy with wild blonde hair. "Mariku, I need your help..."
Mariku grinned, a gleam in his insane lilac eyes.

Anzu's eyes widened as Yami pulled her into a tender kiss. It felt...well, she couldn't really explain the way it felt. She knew she liked it. But she couldn't place what the actual feeling was. It was as though a spark was lit inside of her and set her insides afire.
All too soon, Yami pulled away. He was blushing a deep shade of crimson as he stumbled a few steps back. "Teana...I-I'm so sorry. I-"
The brunette cut him off by pressing her lips, a tad bit forcefully, against his. The action was a very bold one. And the princess wasn't entirely sure why she had done it. It had just...felt like the right thing to do. He did, after all, kiss her just moments ago. Why not return the affectionate favor?
Yami's arms tightened around her waist as she pressed herself further against him. The kiss lasted for a minute or so. Anzu timidly bringing her hands up and embedding them in his long, tri-colored locks. After they parted, they were both smiling.
"...Thank you," the crimson eyed teen breathed out, resting his forehead against the girl's. Anzu laughed as a reply. "I love," he dipped down and pecked her on the lips, "your laugh."
Anzu reddened at the complement. Her hands fell to his shoulders. Azure orbs closed as she relaxed more in his embrace. "I love you," she whispered.
The teen's eyes widened. He wondered if he had heard her correctly. Had she just said...had she just said she was in love with him? To answer his question, the princess repeated the statement a little louder. He shook his head. "Why?"
"I don't know why. But I do. I love you, Yami."
Yami blushed now. He rested his cheek on top of her head and held her close. She didn't say anything for a while. But finally, she inquired as to if he felt the same way. Which he did. And he said so. "I've felt something towards you since the first day I met you at the festival. I know it's a short time that we've known each other, but I know that I love you, Teana."
The princess sighed. It was the right time to tell him the truth. About her identity. Hopefully, if he loved her like he proclaimed to, he would understand. "Yami...I...I'm not exactly...who you think I am..." she began slowly. Oh this was so difficult. How could she tell him?
The peasant laughed. "You're not who I think you are? What...what is that supposed to mean?"
Anzu took a deep breath. "Yami...I really love you and I never wanted to hurt you but..." she stopped as she heard a whistle in the distance.
`Seto'
`"I'll wait ten minutes. If you're not there by then, I'll leave without you and tell Pharaoh you were out with some peasant boy.'"
"I-I have to go!"
Yami raised an eyebrow and tightened his hold as she tried to free herself from the embrace. "W-what? But weren't you just in the middle of telling me something?"
Anzu shook her head. "It can wait till later." She kissed him on the lips and looked down to her arm. "Here," she whispered, removing one of the golden bangles from her wrist. "Take this so you have a piece of me with you."
The tri haired teen took it and placed it in on his own arm. "I'll keep it safe with me," he promised.
"Thank you." The princess hugged him once more. "I'll see you as soon as I can." Without another word, she ran off.
The crimson eyed boy stared after her, a dumbstruck look on his face. His eyes widened as he noticed her cloak lying on the floor. Bending over, he picked it up. He didn't see the shadow to his left until it was too late and he was unconscious.

Bakura smirked, kicking Yami in the side to make sure he wasn't awake. "Idiot," he whispered. "I hope you didn't love her too much. Teana's mine. She always was and she always will be." He then left, following the tracks of the brunette girl.
`She's a petite girl. She can't run very fast.' He grinned. "Where did you go, my princess?" Looking around, he spotted the brunette up ahead. "Bingo." Slinking behind her, unnoticed as usual, he cleared his throat loudly.
The girl turned, confused, and suddenly a tan hand was clamped over her mouth. She tried yelling, but nothing but a muffled snort came out.
The white haired boy smirked sadistically. "Now, now, my Teana. No need to be scared. I just have a question. What were you doing with Yami when I'm your only love?"
"What are you talking about?!" The girl hissed, her voice stifled by his hand.
"Teana...You belong to me. I told that to you already. But you died." Bakura growled and tightened his hold on the brunette. "But I'm not letting this Teana get away. Oh no, no. You are too much like my love to let go. You will be the Teana that I love."
"Let go of me you psycho!"
Bakura frowned. "That's not very nice. I'm only loving you and you call me that. Is there something wrong with showing my affection, princess?"
Teana's eyes widened. "How...How do you know I..."
The brown-eyed teen grinned. "My Teana was a princess too."
<><><>
Anzu's eyes widened. The Teana this boy was talking about. Could it be the one she had borrowed the name from? Her older sister had been named Teana. But she had died years ago in a Shadow Game. Could this peasant have loved her sister back then?
`But...she never told me about anyone loving her. Did she ever love him back, I wonder?'
Pulling the boy's arm off her, she glared at him. "Listen, buddy!"
"Bakura," he corrected.
She snarled. "Alright then. Listen, Bakura, I'm not the Teana you think I am. My name is Anzu. Teana was my older sister and, uh, she's been dead for a while now, incase you didn't know."
Bakura shrugged. "I know. That is why you will be my Teana, Anzu."
The brunette looked confused and disgusted. "You want me to be my sister for you?"
He shook his head. "No, not at all. I just want you to love me for me." He looked over to the Royal Palace in the distance. "Teana didn't love me like I know you will. At first she did, until she met that bastard Otogi and decided she'd much rather love him than me! Stupid whore."
"How dare you talk about my sister that way!" Anzu spat. "I can see why she didn't love you if this is the way you treated her. Nobleman Otogi is a fine gentleman," she explained, thinking of the handsome black haired man who was the son of Egypt's chief architect. She had met him several times since he and his family lived inside the palace walls. He was, like she said, a kind person.
"Fine gentleman my ass," Bakura retorted in disgust. "He was all wrong for Teana. I was the only one meant for her and because she loved Otogi instead of me, I killed her."
Azure eyes widened in horror. "You what?!"
The white haired teen smirked. "I killed her," he repeated nonchalantly.
"You sick son of a bitch!" Anzu tried desperately to free herself from the other's grip, but he had quite a strong hold on her. "Unhand me or pay a serious price! I'll have you beheaded!"
Bakura chuckled. "It wasn't murder, my sweet. She died in a Shadow Game. I beat her. Everyone knows the consequences of losing a game like that. Everyone knows that that is how Princess Teana of Egypt died. No one knows who beat her, of course." He grinned sadistically down at the brunette. "Even if they did, I wouldn't be beheaded for it. She challenged me."
The princess felt tears well in her eyes. She was speaking to the one who had killed her older sister. And now he was probably going to kill her too! She looked up as she noticed the brown eyed teen was talking again.
"Now that I have you though, my lovely Teana's younger sister, I can pick up where I left off with her." Bakura smiled and wrapped his arms around Anzu's waist. Leaning forward slightly, he sniffed her hair. "You smell so sweet, my desert flower."
Anzu cringed. "You're disgusting."
"Am I? I find myself a very affectionate person."
"What are you going to do with me?" The brunette snapped angrily, glaring up at the older teen.
Bakura shrugged. "Oh, I don't know...probably take you to my house...have a little fun with you..." His voice trailed off. "You get where I'm going."
"Pig!"
"Affectionate."
"Let go of me!" Anzu screamed.
The white haired teen sighed loudly. "I do hate it when tender girls put up such a struggle." Raising a hand, he pressed it to the girl's neck. Right on her pressure point. Instantly, she fell unconscious. "Now you won't cause a scene." He placed a kiss on her lips and hoisted her up into his arms.
Out of some bushes nearby, Mariku appeared. He came over to his friend and grinned. "Shall I take her to the house?" he questioned, eyes sparkling.
"Please. She's had quite a night and needs her rest. Give her the finest room in the place. Have Vivian tend to her." Bakura ordered. The blonde nodded and began walking away with the girl. "Oh, and one last thing. Have her dressed in something nice when I arrive tomorrow morning. I want her to make a good second impression on me."
Mariku nodded again. "Will do." He then left down the dirt street.
Bakura smiled. His ears picked up a whistle in the distance. Rubbing his hands together, he went back over to Yami's house. Once he reached the tri haired teen's shack, he found the boy laying unconscious right where he had been before. The white haired boy pulled some silky white material from his pouch and placed it in Yami's hand. It was part of the shirt the princess had been wearing.
"My, my, Yami. What a bad boy you've been. Raping and sending the Princess Anzu to a faraway land. You'll certainly be killed for this..."

Chapter Seven: The Hidden Oasis
Pharaoh Akunamukanon sat at his throne, awaiting the return of Seto and his daughter. Looking over to his wife, he noticed the worried expression on her face. "Layla?"
The queen turned to him. "Yes, my Pharaoh?"
"You seemed troubled. What's wrong with you?"
Layla sighed and hung her head. "I can't help but feel that something bad has happened. To our daughter."
Akunamukanon placed his hand over hers. "You always think something will happen to her. Ever since Teana's death you've been afraid of losing Anzu."
"I'm afraid," the brown haired woman whispered. "I've lost one daughter and I don't want to lose Anzu. It would kill me."
"Don't worry. She is with Seto. I'm sure she is fine."
Before Layla could respond, the door to the throne room burst open. In came several guards, the high-priest-in-training, and an unfamiliar white haired boy. They all bowed respectfully to the Pharaoh and Queen.
Akunamukanon raised a questioning eyebrow as he spotted an adolescent with spiky tri colored hair being held by a guard. "What is the meaning of this?" he barked. Next to him, Layla's hands tightened on the arm of her throne. Her knuckles turned white from the force of her grip.
"My Pharaoh, my Queen," the chief guard greeted, sinking to his knees. "This man witnessed this youth raping your daughter. He says he tried to stop him, but before he could knock him unconscious, the Princess was given to another man and taken somewhere out of the city by horseback."
A/N: well, that's all for now! PLEASE R&R!!!!
