Yami: I swear... I'm always the first to talk. Um IxJL can I come out of the puzzle?
IxJL: What do you think my answer is going to be?
Yami: Hopefully yes?
Joey: You're an idiot.
Yugi: yeah well you don't have to deal with him everyday.
Yami: HEY! You are NOT allowed to talk about someone in the hospital!
Serenity: IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT!
Yami: *sniffle*........no fair......I hate it when you guys gang up on me!
Dear Journal,
Turns out, Yami's alive, scarcely. They found him a few days ago. He was beat up, tied up, gagged, and dehydrated in an abandon warehouse. Why always in a dang warehouse, I don't know. The doctor found something unusual marked into his forearm, almost like a symbol or sign. Anyways, Joey found out Serenity was pregnant. He didn't know how to handle it. So....he just walked out. So much is happing now days and I can't seem to go fast enough to catch up with it. I mean were moved up in our grades and stuff. Ren is out of the hospital but chooses to stay with Yami. But lately...Joey's been alittle...P.Oed
~Isis POV~
“Where are you going?”
“Out.” I gave a confused/amused look.
“Where?”
“WHYare ya badgering me ISIS?!”
“I-I'm not! I just wanted to know where you were going!” Joey sighed and slung on his jacket.
“What's wrong sweetie?”
“Nothing, don't wait up for me.” Joey walked out, slamming the door behind. Just leaving little old me here not knowing the next time I would see him.
~School normal POV~
“So ya'll want to do a group thing tonight?” Bakura asked anxiously.
“Wow Bakura you actually want to hang out with people you consider worthless? What's with you?” Mai asked sarcastically.
“Nothing just...HYPER!”(A/n: Something you would NEVER hear Bakura say EVER!) Mai slapped Bakura's hand away as he tried to snatch fry. Ryo comforted Isis.
“Isis don't worry, he'll be back.”
“But, last night he left upset and didn't even come home!” The door of the cafeteria swung open as Joey walked through it. Isis ran to him and jumped on him, showering him with kisses and hugs. People gave odd looks, but Isis didn't acre and they carried on.
“Isis, you're....suffocating... (cough) ME!” Isis jumped down but was soon hugging him again.
“I was so worried! When you left last night, I couldn't stop crying and-” Isis stopped as she felt him tense up.
“You cried ova me?” Isis looked at him confused by his question and unbearable glare.
“Joey, I LOVE YOU! Why wouldn't I CRY!? You left and I had NO CLUE were you were going!”
“Woman, CAN'T YOU LET ME DO STUFF ON MY OWN?!” Isis breathed hard.
“So basically you're saying you don't want me to care or love you because you don't feel the same way back.” Joey sighed.
“Isis...dat's not it!”
“OBVIOUSLY IT IS!” Isis stomped out of the cafeteria and Joey sighed then growled. ~/ Who in da world is calling my NAME! /~
“JOEY!” A hand touched his shoulder and he spun around and pinned the body to the wall. Tristan's eyes bulged.
“What's up with YOU COUSIN!?” Joey breathed hard and let go.
“Sorry, I'ma little on da edge.”
“Well I found out some info on Yami and that sign.”
“So did I.”
“This...is drastic.”
~Home~
“I'm going out tonight.” Isis shrugged and continued writing furiously while curled up in a chair. Joey glanced at her.
“What, no where ya going or when ya gonna be back's?” Isis glared at him.
“I wouldn't want you to think I worry too much.” Isis gave a fake smile, but her tone was harsh and cold, so cold, Joey felt like his hair rose.
“What is it now love?”
“Oh, me? HA! NOW you love me. You know what, just go. I'm sure whatever you have to do is more important than sitting here and arguing with you're fiancé” Joey felt his blood start rushing along with his rising anger.
“DIS IS IMPORTANT!”
“OH? SHOCK ME!”
“MY DAD IS DA ONE DAT KIDDNAPPED YAMI! THAT'S WHY DAT SIGN WAS IN HIS ARM! IT'S AGANG SIGN!”
“So it's sooo important, I SHOULDN' HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHERE YOU GO?! IN PLUS, HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WAS YOU'RE DAD?!”
“IT'S HI GANG!”
“HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WASN'T ONE OF HIS GANG MEMBES? HE SAID HE WAS CLEAN AND LOOKED PRETTY DANG SINCERE ABOUT IT!”
“WELL YOU NEVER HAD A DRUNK AS A FATHER!”
“YOU'RE RIGHT! I HAD WORSE!” Isis jabbed her finger at him through the air. Tears forming in her eyes. Joey growled and turned to walk away. Isis landed her hand on his back and gripped him to turn him around. Joey cried out and Isis let go in shock. She had hit Joe before, but it never made him cry him hurt.
“Where DID you go last night? ...what happened to you?” Joey leant against the wall, his back facing her. She slowly turned him around so he back was on the wall. She hadn't seen him behind the clothes in almost 2 weeks. Once she unbuttoned the button-up shirt. She was surprised to see a turtle neck waiting to be removed. She pulled it off gently, but still earned a loud wince from Joey. The look in his eyes was distance, sad, and...She know she didn't just spot what she think she did. As she pulled her eyes from his eyes to his chest she froze. A great number of bruises painted his chest and arms. She turned his head tone side to see a long red mark as if it had been a whelp mark. She ran her finger across each bruise. Some where worse than the others. When she felt him tense up she looked up at him with confusion in he eyes.
“He did his to you.”
“No, his gang.” Sis closed he eyes to keep back tears.
“What did they do to you?” Isis opened he eyes to look at him. He shushed her and held her chin.
“No crying, not tonight.”
