Chapter 4 Part 2
Christmas the time of giving and sharing not only gifts, but smiles and laughter as well. You definitely shared a lot of smiles while preparing for that day. The season became contagious and I found myself smiling every now and then too. I believe at one stage I spotted even Kaiba ginning from ear to ear.
I watched as within that next week, the last week before the day, as you continued to decorate the house and prepare a grand feast. All the while you continued to answer my questions and explain why you did things. I would sometimes catch you sneaking in large packages or shopping bags and stuffing them in a closet to hide. Of course Ryou seemed to be having fun with all the joy you were spreading around as well.
It had seemed for once, you were truly happy with where you were, and the situation that was presented to you. Of course the sadness would show whenever we would run into the Pharaoh and his little squad, or whenever he was mentioned.
You just continued to spread the cheer though, ignoring your own pain.

I had woken up to the feel of someone straddling my waist while running feather light touches and kisses from my jaw and over my chest. Opening my eyes I was greeted with the most delicious sight.
You sat there in a bright red leather, sleeveless vest with white fluffy trimmings. Elbow length black gloves encased your arms to match the knee high leather boots you wore. Fish net stockings covered your thighs before disappearing underneath the matching red short shorts, which showed off your refined ass. A sloppy red Santa hat was crammed down on top of your head with the small fluffy ball on the end dangling in your face.
Brushing it aside you smiled at me and lent down to kiss me lightly on the mouth, which I quickly took advantage of. I swiftly brought my hand up to grasp at the back of your neck and began nipping at your bottom lip asking for entrance. I growled at your teasing by refusing and forced my tongue into your mouth, exploring the moist cavern for a few moments before reluctantly letting you go to catch your breath. Seeing your fairly flushed state I gave you a feral grin.
"I could definitely wake up to this every morning."
"Merry Christmas 'Kura."
"Merry Christmas indeed." With the short conversation ended I immediately flipped over taking you with me so that you now rested below me and quickly attached my mouth to your exposed neck.
"'Kura, stop."
"Why should I?" I murmured against your flesh.
"Because Ryou is waiting down stairs for us with breakfast. We shouldn't keep him waiting." Spreading your palms against my chest you pushed me away and standing up proceeded for the door. I just sighed and snatched up a pair of boxes, struggling to put them on and make it towards you. When I reached you, you grasped my hand and reached up to give me another light kiss before pointing upwards. I looked up to find prickly looking leaves and ripe berries hanging from the doorframe.
"Its called mistletoe, its another Christmas tradition to put it in places that people can stand under. If a couple is caught standing under it they have to kiss."
"What's the point in that when I can kiss you anytime I want?"
"The idea is really for those who aren't together, its gives them an excuse to kiss." With that said you began tugging on my arm and dragged me down stairs for breakfast.

When Ryou had seen what you were wearing when we descended the stairs, he turned bright red and quickly wolfed down his breakfast before he disappeared out the door, saying he would be out for the day.
Although the day was uneventful with just lounging around the house, it was fun. I got some amazing presents from you and I must have looked so stupid sitting there staring with my mouth hanging open.
You had presented me with what looked like a briefcase, although it looked wider than the average and slightly under length. I was shocked to find when I opened it, that in the base sat a set of gold tridents, beautifully decorated with crushed rubies and Egyptian characters that covered the hilt of both. They were both perfectly balanced and sized to just longer than the length of my arms, elbow to wrist, for if I so chose to use them.
You had given me a number of gifts each one as wonderful as the last, and each one reminding me of my home in some small way.
I had only given you one gift, as you had threatened me not to get anything saying that, 'I'm doing this for you, this is your Christmas.' yet you were still happy with the gift I gave.

You finally managed to drag me out of the house and towards the Kaiba mansion for a short span of time. You said that you only wanted to drop off some gifts and then you wanted to show me something, and then we could head home if I liked.
The walk was silent, not a sound, even from our surroundings. I was eventually brought to the beach, sand stretching out before being engulfed in seawater.
"Why are we here?" You stood there silently looking out into that vast water, while you wordlessly brought a hand up to your mouth making a silencing motion.
"Shh, watch." You pointed out to the horizon and no less that a moment later it began to glow. It was yellow at first before it shifted into oranges, reds, pinks and purples. The sight was more than enough to take my breath away. This moment was like watching the sands of Egypt glow at dusk, yet at this moment it was on water.
I was brought out of my trance by your motion to wrap your arms around yourself and bring warmth. Without so much as a hesitant thought I shifted behind and wrapped my arms around you. You stiffened a little at first be fore relaxing against me.
"Yugi?"
"Hmm?"
"I…. I love you."
I said I only gave one gift, but maybe the only gift I really gave was my love.
Merry Christmas Yugi, my koi.
