A/N- I've been away too long!!! Honestly, I feel terrible. I got wrapped up in some things and ignored my computer completely for a long time. But now I'm back and with the final chapter...unless I get some amazing idea and continue it...but for now, just consider this story over. Kay?

Severed Ties

After a glorious morning filled with spooning and cuddling, the happy pair made love once more before deciding to bathe. Amita lovingly washed Seto's back before he in turn washed hers and lathered her hair. After dressing they decided that they should tell Mokuba.

They headed out the door and began walking towards Kaiba Corp. Halfway there somebody grabbed Amita from behind and pulled her into an ally. Seto chased after Amita and her captor when...

BANG!

A loud shot rang through the narrow passageway.

BANG!

A second shot followed it.

Arms entwined, Amita and Seto fell to the concrete in a pool of deep red blood. Amita had been shot in the chest and was quickly losing her blood. Seto, was shot in the stomach, he could see some of his organs poking out and knew his wound was fatal. He hated it, but hated knowing his would take longer to kill him than Amita's would. He would have to watch her die.

Their murderer stepped out from the shadows and grabbed Seto by the hair. "That was a message from your father Seto. He'll be taking over Kaiba Corp now, so I'll let you and your little slut rest in peace."

The man turned from the ally and never looked back at his stepson and who he was sure was a carrier of his grandchild.
