Well when our mystery person introduces Mosaic to all of his friends it makes the little girl so happy that she gives our mystery person her favorite card. Well I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh so please don't sue.

Chapter 3: Mosaic Temple and WIMG

I so want out of this place, but it's impossible to escape with Keora sitting here.

" Come on Keora just sneak me out," I say. Keora shakes her head and smiles at me.

" Sorry, but I got commands," says Keora.

" From who?" I ask.

" Bakura and Marik," says Keora.

" When did you start taking orders from the Tomb Raiders?" I ask. Keora blinks and looks at me.

" Since, you tried to kill yourself," says Keora simply. She sighs and looks at me.

" Stay put, I'll be back in a second," says Keora and leaves. Great I got commands and if I know what's best for me I'd better stay put.

" Hey, are you a duelist?" asks a quiet voice from the door. I look up and see a small girl about as tall as my hikari standing in the doorway. I nod and she smile. " Can I . . . come in?" asks the girl. I nod and she runs in and jumps agilely onto the chair next to my bed. " I'm Mosaic Temple. . . I'm here with cancer," says the girl. I nod and she smiles at me and holds out an autograph book to me and a pen.

" You want my autograph?" I ask. She nods shyly and I sign the book and hand it back to her. " So Mosaic, do you duel?" I ask. She nods at me her thin green-blue hair bobbing as she does. Her gold/yellow eyes seem to laugh in pleasure.

" Hey! Your Mosaic Temple, second best duelist in Kyoto," says Keora in amazement to the girl who nods. " What in the heck are you doing in the hospital? Your exposed to be at Cinnabar Tournament in Tokyo next week," says Keora.

" I can't . . . I've got cancer," says Mosaic quietly and looks at Keora and holds out her autograph book to her. " Ms. Kaiba can you sign my autograph book?" asks Mosaic. Keora's face breaks into a smile as she takes the book and signs her name and adds her special diamond mark on to the i's in her name.

" Thank you," says Mosaic and starts to leave. I watch her and suddenly get an idea.

" Hey Mosaic wait! I know a lot of duelists including Duke Devlin, creator of Dungeon Dice Monsters. Want to meet them?" I ask. Mosaic nods and looks at me and her face breaking into a hug grin.

" Thank you so much," says Mosaic as she runs off to her room. I just nod as the girl leaves.

" Well, I guess I'm going to have to call everyone up again," says Keora and takes the phone and dials Kaiba Mansion, Kaiba Land, Turtle Game Shop and Kaiba Corps. " Funny in how calling 4 places you can get a hold of almost all of your friends," says Keora.

" Even funnier that three of the places you call, you sort of own," I say. Keora nods and smiles as she remembers her family.

" So where was Duke?" I ask. Keora smiles and leans against a wall.

" At Kaiba Mansion again," says Keora and I nod in understanding. Duke is in love with Cynara, Keora's twin sister, and he spends a good amount of his extra time at the big house the Kaiba's own.

" Seth, Isis, and Shaddi were all at Kaiba Corps., your hikari, Joey, Ryou, Bakura, and Malik were at Turtle Game Shop, and Mazara, Mokuba, and everyone else was for some odd reason at Kaiba Land," says Keora scratching her head. " I couldn't find Seto," says Keora.

" Well, we'll find out soon enough," I say. There in the doorway stands Seto and smiles at me.

" Hey, why was I dragged out of my duel with Amara?" asks Seto. Keora smiles and starts to laugh.

" So Seto, still trying to beat that annoying pest of a yami?" I ask.

" If Keora wasn't in this room I'd beat you up," says Seto. I just smile and look past him to Mosaic who is standing behind him.

" Come on in Mosaic, I want you to meet Seto Kaiba," I say. Mosaic quickly gets through the door and stands in front of Seto.

" Hello Mr. Kaiba, may I have your autograph?" asks Mosaic as she holds her autograph book out to him. Seto smiles and looks at the little girl.

" Mosaic, how old are you?" asks Seto as he knells down so he can look into Mosaics eyes.

" I'm 12, Mr. Kaiba," says Mosaic. Seto smiles at the girl and takes the autograph book and signs it.

" And you're the 2nd best duelist in Kyoto?" asks Seto. Mosaic nods and smiles.

" Yes, the only person better then me is your sister Mazara," says Mosaic. Seto smiles at Mosaic and then looks behind him and hands the autograph book to Duke who is standing behind him.

" So you're Mosaic Temple. I've heard a lot about you," says Duke as he signs the book and hands the book and a dice with his name on is back to Mosaic. She smiles and looks at Joey as he stands in the doorway.

" Hey, Joey, can you sign my book?" asks Mosaic to Joey who smiles at Mosaic.

" Sure thing, who should I make it out to?" asks Joey as he knells down so he is eye level with her.

" Uh, well Mosaic Temple," says Mosaic blushing. Joey writes in the book and then hands it to Mazara who is standing behind him.

" Mosaic, I thought I was going to be dueling next week," says Mazara to the other girl. Mosaic shakes her head as Mazara signs the book and hands it back to her friend. " Well then I guess I'll just have to win the tournament for the both of us," says Mazara. Mosaic nods and Mazara hands the book to my hikari who signs it quickly and runs off. I can't blame him for not wanting to stay around me very much.

Later that Afternoon

" Thank you so much, I couldn't have wished for a better present," says Mosaic as she holds up the autograph book that had gotten to every duelist I know. Marik, Bakura, Amara, and Joey had even gotten Weevil, Rex, Mai, Bandit Keith, and ESP Roba to come and sign the book. They had signed the book and now everyone except Keora and Mosaic herself have gone home.

" You're welcome Mosaic," I say. She smiles and takes out a deck of cards from her pocket and hands me one single card. " What is this?" I ask as I stare at the card.

" It's White Illusion Magician Girl, she's my best card and my personal favorite," says Mosaic and smiles.

" Mosaic, I can't take this. It belongs to you," I say.

" You're so naive. She's dying. I asked the doctors and they say 4 months at the most. It would take a miracle for her to survive," hisses Keora into my ear.

" I mean Mosaic, it's your best card and wouldn't you like to keep it to duel with?" I ask. Mosaic looks at me and shakes her head.

" I know, I'm dying and when I die what use will cards be to me? You gave me the best gift I've ever had today. You helped me complete my dream of meeting some of the best duelists in the world," says Mosaic. " I want you to keep my best card so that at least a small part of me can live on. If I died with that card they'd bury it with me and it'd be gone forever," says Mosaic. I nod and she smiles and looks at me.

" Thank you," I say and she nods and walks out of the room the same light still twinkling in her eyes. " Keora, she won't die if she keeps an attitude like that," I say. Keora sighs and looks at me.

" You're right she won't die, cause hopefully she will be brought back to life when Jesus comes again," says Keora. I nod and start to drift off to sleep.

" Light Illusion Magician Girl," I think as I fall asleep.

So how did you like this chapter? I hoped you liked it and I can't wait to write the next chapter.
