AN: Hi ho there kiddos, and welcome to the next journal, in which we probe the depths of Mokuba Kaiba's spiky-headed psyche! Beware grammar mistakes (remember he's still a kid) and run-on-sentences that would make the most illiterate cringe.

November 17, 2002

Hi, journal. It's me again. My handwriting hasn't improved enough that Seto will let me stop writing in you.

It's not fair. He gets to type everything. Just because my teachers say my handwriting is illegible doesn't mean he has to make me write every day!

Today was boring. I got Seto to go to the park with me, and guess who we saw? Yugi and Yami were there, but we didn't talk to them, or even challenge them to a duel. We walked right by them.

I think it was cause they were cuddling again. We saw them, when we were walking (okay, so I was dragging him, but he needs to get out more) to the swings. I guess not many people would've, cause they were hidden real well under a tree, but their hair kinda stands out, and Seto can recognize Yami at fifty paces in a snowstorm. p>Yugi was sitting on Yami's lap, all wrapped up in his arms. It looked comfy. They weren't even doing anything except sitting there, actually, but Seto says they were probably talking about something. I wish I could do that.

Anyway, Seto actually started dragging me along, which was really really weird, cause he usually hangs back and tries to look all dignified instead of like a normal person. But that's okay, cause he's not normal, and I'm not either.

Still, I wanted to say hi, but Seto said that he was getting nauseous from the cuteness, and he didn't want me to fall prey to it too, whatever that means. I think it was just because Seto can't stand seeing people hugging in public. He's actually really sensitive. He even had to leave during 'Titanic' cause he said it was giving him cavities. I found him an hour later in the manager's office, munching on popcorn and working on his laptop.

Actually, Yugi gets hugged a lot. Even when his yami's all creepy and ghostly-invisible and stuff. If you watch him carefully, you can tell when it happens. The school jacket he wears gets crinkled in weird places, and he kinda turns pink. Seto says always to watch your rivals closely, cause they could reveal a weakness without realizing what they've done. It always makes me wonder what weaknesses I'm showing to the world.

Seto just laughs at me when I tell him that. It takes a lot to make my big brother laugh. He thinks watching all of Yugi's friends dance around him all nervous is hilarious.

It's pretty funny. Seto doesn't care about that sort of thing, but I think a lot of other people do. And just because I'm a kid, they don't think I notice what they don't want people to see. Plus, if I hide behind Seto, everybody stares at him, but not me. People make the funniest faces when they think nobody's looking.

It's really silly. You just have to wake up to what you can't see. They tumbled down entangled together, and they're never gonna get up again.

It's like when you mix black and white paint and get gray, and then you toss it at a really annoying kid in your class, and then he throws his paintbrush at you, so you pull his sister's hair, and then she slaps you, and then that idiot Takahashi calls you a bastard, so you punch him in the face and tell him his mother spends her days up against walls with sailors, and then you get jumped by that little snot Ayanami, and then the teacher storms over and breaks up the fight and you get detention and a note sent home to your parents, except I didn't cause I said the asshole provoked me, and then I got sent to the principal's office for swearing, and they had to call Seto in the middle of a math test, and then he got in trouble for having his cell phone on during school, and then he got busted for swearing at the phone, and we both got detention.

That happened yesterday. He's still kinda mad at me. But we did go to the park! The swings were fun. I waved goodbye to Yugi and Yami when they left, but I don't think they saw me. Yugi was hanging all over Yami, so they were probably talking or going on a date or something.

Seto says I shouldn't think about stuff like that, but it's so obvious that they like each other! Actually, what he said was, "Mokuba, where'd you hear about that kind of thing? Who told you? And where do they live?"

I lied, but I dunno if he believed me. But it's better than dating girls! Girls have cooties! Seto turned kinda pale when I told him that. Then he started coughing, really hard. Then he turned sorta red. Just between us, journal, my big brother is kind of weird sometimes.

I guess it doesn't really matter.

Seto told me that things like this were meant to be kept secret, so he made me promise not to talk to anybody but him about it. Why would I? Is it some secret romance like in those sissy fairy tales? I really can't see the other Yugi as a knight on a white horse... a Curse of Dragon, maybe, or something else big and powerful... Much as I hate saying so, he's kinda scary sometimes.

One of these days, I'll get my brother to tell me what he meant by muttering swear words under his breath about "undead homicidal maniacs" and "cute little innocent bunnies with really big sharp pointy teeth".

Monty Python is cool! I'm gonna go ask Seto if I can watch that movie before bed!
