Jounouchi Katsuya a.k.a. Jou =Joey Wheeler

Atem =Yami Yugi

Bakura =Yami Bakura

Ryou =Hikaru Bakura

 

-For the sake of my story I decided Atem and Bakura would have their own bodies.

 

-Hikaru is the male notation of Hikari…

 

-Landlord is what Bakura calls Ryou in the manga…

 

-Kawaii is Japanese for cute (for those that didn't know)…

Chapter 2-Registration

 

The last week of August came and went. It was the first week of September and was time to register for college courses at Domino University.

 

Archai was last in the line snaking out from the Registrar's office. She had already completed her basics at a college back in the States. So she was more than happy to take the courses required for her digital art and computer science degree.

 

She twitched an ear back when she heard a group of guys get in line behind her. Archai had no fear of hiding her ears—her job at Kaiba Corps was over, which was the only reason she used a spell to hide them.

 

(YUGI'S POV)

“Jou-kun, I `m sure that that's not Ryou-kun.” I said. I didn't want to admit it, but even I thought the person standing before us was Ryou.

 

/At least I don't think its Ryou-kun. What do you think Atem-kun?/

 

//I don't think that person is Hikaru-kun. I believe the last time we saw our friend he had human ears.// Jou obviously disagreed.

 

"Aw, yeah? Den prove it ain' 'im." I had to suppress a giggle as Jou puffed up with every word he said. I might have grown to be 5' 10” but he was 2” taller than me.

 

“Because I believe that is Ryou-kun over there, chasing Bakura-san.” Atem said while pointing to the right of him. I looked at the direction he was pointing to see both of them heading towards us. Bakura soon ran behind Jou and pushed him into the person we had just confused his light with.

 

“Out of my way mutt!” He growled, dashing off.

 

“Bakura-san! Come bac…” Ryou frooze where he was, as did Atem, Bakura and I did. We all saw it as the person Jou was pushed into had caught him.

 

(RYOU'S POV-a few minutes earlier)

 

I decided to get to the University early in order to get my registration done and over with. Which would have happened if a certain yami hadn't decided to take my paperwork and disappear.

 

<Bakura-san, where in bloody blazes are you?> I looked around the corner of the hall to see a flash of my yami go by.

 

<<Hahaha!!!…You'll never catch me landlord!!!…>>

 

I sighed as I saw him run off. This is the absolute last time I let him have sugar for breakfast.

 

<Bakura-san!> I chased after him as he ran towards the line and push Jounouchi into the person before him.

 

“Bakura-san! Come bac…” I didn't even finish my sentence. I was in too much shock to move. The person Jounouchi was pushed into not only caught him but looked exactly like my cousin—Archai Evans.

 

(JOU'S POV-after he's pushed)

 

I closed my eyes when I began ta fall. When I opened 'em I looked at da space befo' me ta see boobs.

 

Ah! Dude! I t'ought I was a'poseda catch da goil! I got my noives tagether ta look up at da goil day just caught me. Yup, definitely not Ryou...

 

 

(ARCHAI'S POV)

 

I couldn't help but listen to the conversation behind me. Those guys were loud enough for people in the Registrar's office to hear!

 

Wait…Ryou?…They can't mean…I didn't even finish my thought—thanks to some guy behind me running and yelling, “Out of my way mutt!” I turned to see what the hell was going on when I noticed a mass of blonde hair stumbling towards me. Instead of letting the guy fall face down onto the ground, I caught him.

 

I looked up to see his friends give me a blank stare. I then looked down to see the face that went with the hair look up at me. I nearly fell down laughing. The grin he just gave me reminded me of one of my old neighbor's kawaii golden retriever.

 

"Heh. Uh...'ey?” His Brooklyn accent rang as he continued to grin.

 

I couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow. In my friendliest smirk and Southern accent I replied, “Hay yaself…”

There it is—Chapter 2. We see more of Archai's character, meet some new players, and find out that she's related to Ryou?!…o.0…

 

On another note, I would like to thank my friend Cassa-chan for helping me with Jou's accent….I don't know that many people from Brooklyn and I don't exactly hear that kind of accent every day--so she was a major help…
