Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Realizing Love ❯ Rain ( Chapter 1 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Hello everyone! I'm YGO Cupid! This is my first time writing in my fanfic, and this is my first fanfic as well. If you please, go easy on me. But I do warn you; my fanfic is mostly a yoai, meaning male/male relationships. There is a yuri, female/female and a straight relationship in here as well.

Disclaimer: I do not own the show or it's characters (duh.), but I do own a few characters, which you will find out soon.

Ch. 1: Rain

-Normal POV-
It's raining at Domino City. We see a small game shop, still lit with lights. From a far corner, there are several bodies running towards the shop, and that's where our story begins.

The door swings open and a bell rings, signaling that there were customers here. An aged man with an orange bandana and gray spiky hair and violet eyes looked up at four soaked teens. He looked over to the tri-colored teen, with gravity-defying spiky hair that is black as ebony with violet highlights and golden rod bangs that framed his child-like face. “Hello Yugi,” He said, amusement in his voice. “How was school today?” He smiled at the petite boy, as he looked up with his wide, amethyst-colored eyes, showing pure innocence. “Oh, hi Grandpa.” Yugi replied. “School was okay, except for running in the rain part.”

“You can say that again!” Said another teen, in an irritated tone. He was slightly taller than Yugi, with tan skin, platinum blonde-colored hair, and slightly slanted violet eyes, which gave out an Egyptian appearance. “It could have been worst, Malik.” Another teen said. He was at the same height as Malik, and has ivory hair, fair skin, and deep brown eyes. “We might be running in the middle of a thunderstorm.” He smiles as he tries to squeeze the water out of his shirt. Malik looked scornfully at the teen.
“Yeah, but still, we would be here earlier, if you didn't forget your stupid books, which were due today at the library, which caused us to miss the bus, Ryou!” Malik exclaimed.

Ryou looked hurt and there was a moment of silence, until Yugi changed the subject. “Umm, would all of you want some hot chocolate?” He asked. Malik shrugged. “Sure.”
“Sounds good.” Ryou agreed happily. “What about you, Kia?” Yugi looked over to a girl. She was around his height, with silver-white, wavy hair that almost touched her shoulders, very fair skin, and light bluish-green eyes. She smiled and nodded.
“Okay, I'll get us some towels to dry off.” Yugi announced towards the three, then looks over to his grandfather. “We'll be upstairs okay Grandpa.” “ Alright, have fun.” Grandpa said as he watched the four teens go up the stairs towards the living room.

Once everyone was dried and comfortable, they all did their homework for and hour or so. (A/N: Homework= Headache)
“Ahchoo!!” Malik broke the long silence. “Bless you.” Said the others. Malik let out a low horse groan and looked out the window, where it was still raining. He let out a small, low growl of dislike. Kia, who was sitting next to him, looked up from her book and wondered about his behavior.
“What's wrong Malik?” She asked, quietly.
The other two looked up at her, then at Malik. Malik let out a sigh and pointed towards the window. The trio looked at the window, then back to Malik. “What about the window?” Yugi asked curiously. Malik looked over at the curious trio. “It's been raining for a week and a half now.” He replied, with a bit of annoyance in his voice. The trio figured that he was sick and tired of being inside everyday. But, what can they do? There was more silence after that, until they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. The door opened, revealing Yugi's grandpa, who was looking around the quiet room.
“How come it's quiet up here?” Grandpa asked. The four teens shrugged and Malik stood up, grabbing his bag and started out towards the door. “See you guys at school.” He said as he turned towards the others. Everyone smiled. “Of course.” Ryou said as the other two nodded. Malik smiled back at them.

“Well, see ya.”

“Bye Malik!” Said the trio in unison.

After Malik left, Ryou gathered his stuff and did the same before walking out.

A few minutes passed and a phone rang. “I got it!” Grandpa called out. “What do you want to do?” Yugi asked in a bored manner. Kia shrugged. “I don't know.” She simply said, until an idea popped open in her mind. She grabbed her bag and started digging in the bag. Yugi watched curiously, until Kia pulled out a small silver box that has some ancient Egyptian writing. Yugi's eyes became wide and smiled as he grabbed his bag as took out a large golden box with the same Egyptian writing.
