Ch.19: Alysia's Place

 

“This is where you live?” Moukaba asked as he looked over to Alysia.

 

“That's right.” She said.

 

“It looks… green.” Bakura said with somewhat annoyance.

 

Everyone; Yugi, Atemu, Ryou, Bakura, Marik, Malik, Kia, Kayra, Moukaba, and Alysia, were in front of a green house, in fact everything about the house is that color.

 

“What?” Alysia said as she looked over to Bakura. “Got a problem with my favorite color?”

 

“Let's check what's inside!” Said Moukaba, excitedly.

 

“Hey! It's my house, so you have to wait!” Alysia said as she grabbed hold of his collar.

 

“Then what the heck are we doing here then, huh!?” He said while everyone rolled their eyes at their antics.

 

“Fine! If you want to be inpatient today, then we'll waltz over to my house and have a wonderful day at my place.” She said as she grabbed her keys and unlocked the doors.

 

When she mention everyone inside, they were dumbstruck about the interiors of the inside. Inside was also green, with tropical plants of a variety of sizes.

 

Yugi was the first, besides Alysia, to enter, when he felt something on his foot. He looked down and saw a gardener snake, slithering across. When he looked up, he saw a bright green boa constrictor. He backed up, tripping over a vine in the process, and landed on Atemu, who caught him.

 

“Lime! Stop scaring our guest!” Alysia shouted as the boa slithered down to her shoulders and around her neck, which makes it look like she was wearing a scarf. “Sorry about that. I guess I should have told you about my pets.” She said as she patted Lime on the head.

 

“Cool!” Malik said as he looked around and discovered five more snakes, which were the size of an average persons arm.

 

“Follow me. I'll give you the grand tour.” She said as she turns around to the first room.

 

“Sounds like a plan.” Ryou said as he and everyone else followed her to the next room.

 

As everyone went into the room, there was a huge, big-screen TV, a dark green couch; that is sort of shaped like a “L”, and a lot more of the tropic plants.

 

“This is the living/meeting/game room.” Alysia explained.

 

“You got games here?” Yugi asked as he tried to back away from a small brown snake, which has been staring at him since they entered the room.

 

“Yeah.” Alysia responded as she pointed to a glass cabinet. “I got X-box and PS2 games in there. Shall we continue?” She walked out of the room, followed by everyone.

 

They passed by some of the rooms, which they guess are just bedrooms, and walked into a kitchen. The kitchen is in a light green color, but there is a green house next to it, which is filled with fruits, vegetables, and spices of all kinds.

 

“Jou would probably love you for this.” Moukaba said as he looked at everything in the kitchen.

 

“Who asked you to look though my kitchen!” Alysia said while Lime fell asleep.

 

“You are giving the grand tour are you?” He said as he grabbed an apple from the table.

“THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT IN HERE!!!” She yelled as they did a stare off.

 

“This is going to take a while.” Kayra said as she leaned on a counter.

 

“I think it's kind of cute when they fight like that.” Kia said, making everyone sweat drop.

 

Upon hearing this, the two stopped staring.

 

“So… Umm… Who's up for lunch? My treat.” Alysia said as she rolled up her sleeve.

 

Everyone heard a stomach growl, which happens to be Moukaba. He flushed and held his stomach.

 

“Okay then. I'll start cooking then. Does anyone want to help out?” She asked as Moukaba raised his hand. “I got one. Anyone else? Going once… going twice…” Yugi stepped up, so did Atemu. “Last call.” Ryou stepped up. “That's everyone?” She looked over. “Okay, while you guys get ready, I'll lead them to the backyard so they won't be in the way.”

 

Alysia showed the rest of the gang to the outside, which almost looks as though it was one-fourth of a football stadium.

 

“I don't want to see any blood spilled when I call you back, otherwise I'm going to beat you into a pulp!” She warned as she closed the door.

 

~1 and a half hours later~

“LUUNNCH!” Alysia called out.

 

“Did ya have to yell! We're right here in case if you haven't noticed!” Bakura said as he woke up from his nap.

 

“I did noticed and I called ya, but you were still as a corpse when I called you for five minutes.” She said as she walked back inside, with a grumbling Bakura following.

 

“Well it's about time Bakura.” Marik said as he chowed down his ribs.

 

“Shut the fuck up!” Bakura said when he felt a gentle hand on his arm, he looked down and saw Ryou as he mention over an empty seat, which Bakura gladly sat down.

 

“You guys made all this?” Malik said as he took a huge spoon full of steamed vegetables.

 

“Yep.” Yugi chirped as he took a sip of his lemonade.

 

“Even you cooked Pharaoh?” Bakura said with a smirk.

 

“I did, in fact your eating what I made.” Atemu said as he pointed out the chicken, which Bakura was contently eating.

 

Bakura snorted and continued eating, which made Atmeu feel as though he beaten the once tomb raider in something.

 

“Alright you two, enough with the talking and more on the eating.” Kayra said, sarcastically.

 

“This reminds me back in the buffet place with Jou, remember that?” Malik said.

 

“Yeah.” Yugi said. “Boy, that was a nightmare.”

 

“Really? I thought it was hilarious.” Malik said, laughing.

 

“What happened?” Kia said, obviously that she wasn't there when it happened.

 

“Lets just say Jou took the meaning of the word `All you can eat' to a whole different level.” Ryou said.

 

“I'll say.” Moukaba said. “His stomach is truly a black hole!”

 

“Speaking of black holes, Marik and I better get going, other wise sis would never let me see the light of day.” Malik said.

 

“In other words, you can't go out until all your chores are done.” Alysia said smartly.

 

“Shut up.” He said.

 

“Make me!” She said.

 

“I agree with Malik, on the getting-back-before-his-sis-blows-a-fuse part, but I get to drive this time.” Marik said.

 

“All right.” Malik said as he threw the keys. “But you better make sure we try not to get in another accident like last time.”

 

Marik smirked as he and Malik headed out the door.

 

“See you around guys.” Malik said as he and his look-alike disappeared around the corner.

 

“We better go as well Kia.” Kayra said. “I promised your grandmother to bring you back at a certain time.”

 

“Okay.” Kia said as she hopped off her seat. “See you around.”

 

As they left the house, the five remaining guests stayed and helped out. Then Ryou and Bakura said their farewells.

 

“That was fun.” Alysia said as she looked over at the three. “Want to play a few games, since Moukaba's brother, Seto right, isn't expecting you in another few hours. And you two have to be at the game shop before dark.” The three nodded.

 

~2 hours later~

“OH COME ON!” Alysia said as the flashing words `Winner: Atemu' came up.

 

“You're really good at games, huh Atemu?” Yugi said as he watched them playing a racing game.

 

“I'm not called the King of Games for nothing Aibou.”

 

“What's the score?” Alysia asked Moukaba, who was counting his fingers.

 

“You: 0. Atemu: 10. And both of you tied five times.” Moukaba responded.

 

“I think we should get going Atemu.” Yugi said. “I don't want to get Grandpa worried.” Atemu nodded.

 

“I need to feed Lime and the others anyway.” Alysia said as she stretched.

 

“How many snakes do you have?” Moukaba asked, as Atemu moved a small yellow snake away from his arm.

 

“Around two hundred, but they're not dangerous, they attack when they're threatened.” She responded.

 

“Wow.” Yugi said. “That's a lot of snakes to take care of.”

 

“They're not hard to take care of, but I do have to clean this place up every two day, which is no big deal.” She said.

 

“Thank-you for letting us stay for a while.” Atemu said as he bowed; something he picked up from Yugi, in a Japanese style.

 

“Uhh… Anytime.” She said as they walked out the door.

 

“I should take you back home, before your brother sends in the army.” She said not getting a response. “Moukaba?” She turned and saw that he was fast asleep on the couch.

 

She shook her head as she gentlely picked him up and headed for the garage, where there was a van. She carefully placed him on the passengers seat, so that he's lying down, and went over to the driver's side. She starts up the van and rode out towards the mansion.
