Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Reunited ❯ Questions Forgotten ( Chapter 2 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

I decided to write this chapter sooner than I intended, because I don't think I'll be able to get on the computer much in the near future, but we'll see.

Ryou, Yugi, and Yami reached Yugi's house and they went their seperate ways. "Are you sure you don't want to stay over Ryou? It'll be fun" Yugi asked one last time.

"No really Yugi, I'm kind of tired, I'll come over tomorrow." Ryou replied.

"All right, but you better remember!" Yugi persisted.

"I will, I promise." Ryou said with a small smile as he walked down the sidewalk towards his house. He really was tired, and he was also afraid Yugi would talk to him about Jou, and he wanted to avoid that subject. He did like Jou, who wouldn't? Just not the way he loved say Bakura... But Ryou didn't want to think about Bakura either, it would only get his hopes up again. He still didn't know why Bakura left, but the feeling of rejection was still strong, even though Bakura had said he cared about him today. He seemed to have changed quite a bit since he left.

Even as Ryou was thinking about this, he noticed a silvery haired figure sitting on his front step. He sighed as he gave Bakura a small wave. He really didn't waste any time getting here. Ryou didn't even know how he could of got here before him unless he left the bowling alley earlier.

"Hello Ryou. It's kind of nice out so I decided to wait out here for you instead of breaking into your house." he stated.

"How thoughtful of you." Ryou replied sardonically.

"Now don't be like that Ryou after I came to see you. I thought we could spend some quality time together." Bakura said in a mock hurt tone of voice.

"We could have spent years of quality time together if you hadn't left" Ryou replied bitterly.

Bakura's eyes darkened. "I told you Ryou, I needed time to think about stuff. So just stop bringing it up or..." he began but stopped himself and just glared at Ryou.

Ryou sighed again. "I'm sorry Bakura, I'm glad you came to see me."

Bakura lightened up again and grinned teasingly. "So how was your date with the blonde, I saw that kiss by the way." he said still smiling but Ryou could tell he wasn't pleased at all.

"Um it was okay I guess. I don't think I could have a relationship with him though." Ryou admitted to his Yami.

"Because you still love me right?" Bakura joked but it was obvious he wanted a serious reply.

"I don't know Bakura." Ryou lied simply.

Bakura stared at him for a few moments as if trying to read his mind. Ryou looked at him and couldn't help but think of how much he did love and want to be with his Yami.

"The hell you don't" Bakura finally said with a genuine smile this time. And then he was pulling Ryou down onto his lap stroking his hair. Ryou nuzzeled his face into Bakura's neck for a few moments before looking up at Bakura. He really wanted again to ask why Bakura left, since it was starting to seem as if he did care for him. Bakura, seeing the questions in Ryou's eyes, frowned and pushed him away slightly.

"Why must you question everything? Why can't you just enjoy my presence and not pay heed to petty concerns!" Bakura started emotionally, sounding strangely philosophical in his anger. He tilted Ryou's face up to him and kissed him lovingly on the lips. "Does it seem like I don't want to be with you Ryou?" he asked more gently.

Ryou pulled Bakura down for another kiss as a response. He would worry about what Bakura was hiding later, Bakura was right, this was not a time for worries. Bakura was trailing kisses down Ryou's neck now and Ryou began to notice that they were attracting attention.

He stood up and Bakura frowned at him. "Let's go inside Bakura, the neighbors are starting to stare." he said with an amused smile as he unlocked and opened the door.

Well I'm glad I got that done, and now I have loads of other stuff to do. Review please, to keep me inspired!
