Seto: No wonder you're still a virgin…
Raven: That's not how I remember it… Lover boy who thinks hes got a big one
Seto: (Blushed)
Yami: Awe, don't worry, love. I think you've got a good sized—
Rajah: Ooookay, that's too much info out of the peanut gallery.
Raven: I didn't think Seto was THAT small…
Seto: CAN WE JUST GET ON WITH THIS?
Raven: Fine
Rajah: My big mouthed, fat ass, monster faced sister doesn't own Yu-Gi-Oh! …. And she still has her virginity, People, so don't believe her when she talks about Seto being her Sex Slave.
Raven: You still have yours too
Rajah: At least I try to bed Seto, you compulsive retarded wyvern! (Turns Into full Blue Eyes white Dragon mode and gets into a staring contest with Raven)
Seto: - - Why me…
Yami: (Kisses Seto) Damn, you turn me on!
Seto: Agh!
Yami walked aimlessly along the street of his memory hours after he left his apartment. He had been standing at a small corner near the place of where he and Seto first went for lessons. And oddly enough Seto didn't show up.
Yami sighed as he became more frustrated by the minute, but he had to keep his cool. It was only yesterday that he walked down on this dark lonely street, but he was walking with a man that he thought had no equal. Yami was truly alone and definitely scared when Seto wasn't around… Which was right about now. Yami couldn't stand staying in one place for very long so he walked around a little.
Yami returned a few minutes later back at the corner and waited for a walk sign appeared to him on the other side of the street. Many cars drove by him, not many paying attention to him, except for a few girls and a few guys who whistled at him for his hot looks. Yami ignored them, and ignored them easily. The only man in this god-forsaken city that ever made him blush was the Blue eyed Brunette, which he missed so dearly and wondered why he hadn't appeared to him that whole afternoon of lonesome waiting. “It's getting late… Maybe Seto just didn't want to see me tonight,” The walk sign still didn't appear to Yami. Yami groaned and finally decided to just go the other way to go home, it was probably late anyway. Yami turned around and made his way home with disappointment and pain in his heart.
Yami continued his walk till he suddenly bumped into the man that he never was in a good mood to see. “Don't you know how to walk or is this your first time?” Marik spat angrily at the familiar figure in front of him. Yami had no aware of the sly smirk on his face… Like Marik wanted to see Yami for something. Yami looked up at Marik and his eyes narrowed at him, “Not now, Marik. We'll settle our differences later.” Yami walked around him and tried to leave Marik behind. However, Marik had better plans to do with Yami… much more dangerous plans, “Kaiba left you all alone on that corner. Didn't he?” He said aloud intentionally to get Yami's attention. Yami stopped in his tracks and turned around to Marik, “How'd you know that?” Marik turned to him after trying to hold back an evil chuckle, “How, you say? I know because Seto sent me to take you to him. He found a new place for you two to get together. If you follow me, I can take you to him.” Yami turned away from his offer; “I'd rather eat raw Squid topped with Disease ridden Mosquitoes than to actually trust you with a simple task. Such as escorting me.” Marik growled lowly behind Yamis back. That Move wasn't expected of Yami.
But there was always a back up plan…
Marik turned towards a near by alley and gave some secretly hiding men a `Charge' motion with his hands. Marik grinned as he saw his men jump out of their hiding spots, and go down a small secret alley and chased after Yami.
Yami however was humming to himself a small song that he kept hearing on the radio when his dad would drive him to school. He found it to be a nice song, and it was in fact the same song that Seto had on the boom box at their first lesson. It was a soft melody, with some good rhythm. Yami loved it mostly because it always reminded him of Seto's kind smile… and Sexy tall body structure.
Yami lifted his head back slightly as he daydreamed of being with Seto again. He smiled as a lovely breeze blew by his face, and it gave Yami the imagination of Seto touching his face with his soft delicate hands.
Yami suddenly stopped in his tracks and stared forward at nothing, blushing madly. Was he falling madly in love with Seto? Sure he was attracted him at first, but… Was it getting worse by the minute? Was he falling faster than an idiot jumping out of an airplane without a parachute?
Yami shook his head, nah that couldn't be true… Could it?
Yami continued walking and checked behind him quickly, to see if anyone was there. And when no one was there, he acted like a schoolgirl and giggled happily to himself.
Oh yeah, he was in love, but he secretly knew it was in vain. Seto probably still had feelings for Tea or whoever girl he likes, and there would be no way of changing his mind.
Yami looked up, forgetting of where his legs were taking him, and he noticed a strange and suspicious group of people surrounding a trashcan just a few yards in front of him. Yami looked over the road that he walked along and looked to see if he could go around the group in front of him, unfortunately it had a strange group of people around trashcans over there and they were watching him with strange looks in their eyes. Yami was nervous, but if he wanted to go home, he had to go around them eventually. Yami walked quickly along the sidewalk, hoping that they weren't interested in him enough to actually try to grab him. Without Seto beside him, he was pretty much basically defenseless, like a walking piece of cake in a room full of kids.
\ Seto, Yami, and Rajah: (Look at RavenFyre like she's an idiot)
Raven: What?
Seto: What kind of line was that?
Raven: (ignores him) What?
Seto: LISTEN TO ME, YOU OLD HAG!
Yami: Seriously. That was most definitely a pathetic analogy
Raven: And who ask you. This is my story I can be as stupid as I want (Cross her arms like Seto)
Rajah: (Points at Raven accusingly) Hah! Kaiba Lover! I KNEW YOU WERE!
Raven: Whatever! Back to the story! \
Yami walked up to them, and they definitely looked like they knew he was there. Yami looked away from them and continued his walk around them, more nervous than ever now. Yami prayed secretly that those men were good friends of Seto, and knew that he was Seto's friend too. A few of the men gave pleased grins and wolf whistles at him as he continued walking, but Yami tried his best to not be afraid of them and show that he was really defenseless towards them.
Yami successfully walked away from them and huffed in relief that he got away from them, and all he needed to do now was to get home.
Yami continued walking, wondering where in the heck he was, and finally stopped somewhere in the middle of the street. “Okay, Yami. You got yourself into this mess now you're going to have to find your own way out,” Yami looked across and down the street that he was on to see if anything that could help him get out of the mess he was in. Yami sighed in disappointment, as nothing looked the least bit familiar to him, “Don't tell me I have to go back.” “That wouldn't be a bad idea,” A cold hand slithered its way from behind Yami and covered his mouth. Yami screamed into the hand but it turned out to be nothing more than a mumble. Men came out of the alleyway and tried their best to hold Yami still and bring him to where their master laid in wait for Yami. Yami was panicking and his moves became more violent and forceful as his legs and hands collided with all the men trying to grab him (Most got hit where the sun don't EVER shine). Yami quickly got worn out and all the men grinned evilly at him, Yami lost the game of survival. “Let's take him to the boss,” The man who spoke before said to the others. Yami got too tired and was barely struggling to be released. The men chuckled devilishly; Marik is definitely going to be pleased.
When they took Yami to see Marik…
Yami was pushed harshly to the ground by the thugs in front of a familiar man, Marik. Yami slowly tried to get up but he had enough strength to only get on his hands and knees. “Marik?” Yami asked, too tired to be angry, and too tired to be scared of Marik. “Yes, Yami… I'm the last thing you're ever going to see tonight. I do hope you have a death wish,” Marik digged in his back pocket and took out a long shiny knife. Marik slid his finger lightly on the blade, and gave his men a motion with his head towards Yami. Yami gasped as he saw the blade and saw Marik walking towards him with an evil glint in his eyes. Yami held back a startled cry as everyone closed in on him, and he could only escape by crawling. The men with evil grins grabbed Yami harshly and pinned him to the ground. Some men proceeded to grab at Yamis clothes and slowly strip Yami of his privacy. Marik was displeased that his men did this, but it was more flesh for him to tear up. Yami screamed for mercy, but none heard and none cared for his life. “Hold him steady. I want to make sure I get the chance to kill him ever so slowly and painfully… I warned Kaiba not to get to close and looked what he did. He killed his own best friend,” Marik twirled the knife on fingers, waiting for his men to spread Yamis body and make his flesh more vulnerable. “Seto will get you for this, Marik… I know he won't let me go this easily,” Yami shouted loudly, many memories of Seto's kindness and the time they spent since he first came to New York flashed within his memory. He knew that Seto was far too kind to let go of him, and Marik was asking for it by hurting him.
“You're quite wrong, Yami. If there's one thing I know about Kaiba is that he'll follow orders when he sees the danger. Obviously he hasn't seen the danger he has put you in so I've decided to send him a little message,” Marik got down on the ground and fingered Yamis slim and beautiful legs. To Marik, Yami resembled a slut, but for all the other men, who were secretly gay, couldn't help but look at the angel before them. Marik held the blade up to Yamis face at first and stared at him face to face, “Where to begin?” Yami stared at him in horror, praying to himself (And to any god that could be listening at the moment) that if he ever got out of this alive; then he would promise that he would tell Seto that he would do anything to be his lover. “If you're a dancer, then I might as well destroy the one things that do make you a dancer,” Marik grinned and looked away from Yamis eyes and to the legs that he had his eyes on since the `Striping' started. “No. You can't!” Yam shouted. Marik took the blade he had up to Yamis neck and made it move slowly along Yamis body. Yami winced as the blade lightly cut his skin; all the way from his chest and down to his legs. Marik held the blade close to Yamis right leg, the point starting to dig in to the flesh under the knee, “Would you like to say good bye to your dreams?” Marik grinned as he noticed that Yami began to cry. “No? Then I'll rip you dream from right under you!” Marik harshly drove the knife into Yamis leg, not caring that blood splashed onto his arms and legs.
Yami still cried, but didn't scream…
Marik didn't hear the pleasing sound of agony and became furious in his patience, “Scream! I want to hear you Scream! Do it!” Yami still kept his pain deep inside himself, he refused to hand him the satisfaction and Pleasure that Marik wanted to hear from him. He'd have to die first before Marik ever heard a scream from him…
Marik became more harsh and more cruel with each of his stabs to Yami's Legs, as he thought that the only reason why Yami wasn't screaming was because he was doing it too slowly and did it too softly. Yami still held on for dear life as the knife ran deep into his other leg; thinking to himself that there would be no way for him to still dance after this. Marik stood up and threw he knife over his shoulder, “Beat him!”
Some of the men moved quickly and began Pounding/Hitting Yami with their fists and their feet. Others ran in fear as they saw someone coming down their alley, and those that didn't flee didn't even notice a certain Blue-Eyed Killer walking down the alley.
The men gave their harshest punches and their greatest kicks at Yami. Yami took the pain but still showed no sign of giving in to screaming. The men laughed at Yamis agony and the pained expression on his face. Marik was angry for Yami to be this defiant, even when Yami looked like he was on the verge of death; “This is taking too long! I want to hear him scream you idiots! If you ass holes don't make him scream before we kill him tonight, I'll make sure all of you scream in his place!”
“Care to reconsider that, Marik Ishtar,” A very deep and dark voice said behind Marik, as a click of a gun sounded behind Marik's head. Marik felt the cold metal of the gun slowly touch him the back of the head. That voice sounded so familiar to him, but he couldn't quite place it. The men were still beating up Yami on the other side of the alley, as none noticed the man behind him with a gun at the back of his head. “Tell them to stop,” The voice said, more cruel this time. Whoever was behind him obviously didn't like what he was seeing. “Men…” Marik was in complete horror, for the first time in his life. His men slowed down their actions as they did see who was behind Marik. The man that was feared by all whenever a gun came into his hands; It was the long forgotten, Kobra Kaiba, The man that has never missed a shot in his whole entire life, was pointing his gun into the back of Marik's head.
Back over to the Clueless Seto… Before Yami was captured…
Seto found the men of the opposing basketball team to be oddly strange, When the game started. They were trying to keep him busy, for some reason. Every time Seto got the ball, he would make a full court shot and get the hoop everytime. The men however didn't seem to be unfazed or amazed of a full court shot, they would just shrug and get back to playing. Bakura called out a time out and talked with Seto, “Something isn't right. Those guys are acting like they have another purpose here… other than just getting their butt kicked by you.” “They are Marik's gang. It doesn't surprise me that they are about as crazy as Marik himself is. They're just insane, Bakura. If they were here to distract us or something (Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner!) Then they would be trying to keep us here. We'll play a few more games, and if they seem suspicious then we'll go to the hang out,” Seto huffed at Bakura and went back to the game. Bakura thought for awhile, then he suddenly gave himself an idea, `Why wait when you can scare the other team?' Bakura ran to the team captain and talked with him about having 60 dollars a game. The captain was outraged and shouted loudly, everyone was staring at them now. Seto quirked an eyebrow and walked over to Bakura, “What the hell are you doing?” Bakura waved the others a `Pardon me for one second' and walked a small distance with Seto. “Don't you find this mysterious, Seto? Marik challenges you to a game, and sends his worst Basketball players to play against you, saying that he has some business somewhere else?” Bakura tried to convince Seto, that something was most definitely off. Seto groaned, “Bakura. There can't be anything suspicious here… It's a basketball court for crying out loud!” “Then call Marik and ask him yourself,” Bakura crossed his arms.
“Fine, but I'm telling you. Nothing is wrong!” Seto walked towards his coat and took out his cell phone, surprised to see that he had two missed calls and two new voicemails on his screen. “Hmm,” Seto dialed up his voicemail and listened to the new messages. The first one was Yami, and Seto felt a strange pang of worry when he heard Yami talking about a note he wrote to him, and dancing lessons he thought was that night. “I didn't write him a letter, and I thought dancing was tomorrow night?” Seto asked himself, but listened anyway and kept the message for later, just in case his ears were playing tricks on him. The Next message was from a man, who was Seto's gang friend, and worked under Marik, but secretly he worked for only Seto to let Seto know if Marik was planning to kill somebody that he knew. The message the man left was a warning but the man didn't know who Marik was after, but promised to let Seto know the moment he knew himself. Seto's face changed from the expression of worries and fear to the face of anger and Pain. “How dare you Marik,” Seto hid his eyes from Bakura, as he whispered to himself. Seto suddenly grasped his forehead as a headache started to grow. His mind racing with how both of the phone calls seemed to fit together, like in a puzzle.
Seto gasped as everything became clear to him. Of Course, Everything made sense to him now. Marik must've sent that Basketball losers to distract him while Marik was getting rid of someone, and that someone was most likely Yami. Seto was furious and his voice changed to the dark and cruel voice of when he was called `Kobra Kaiba'. Seto Kaiba was no longer Seto Kaiba. Bakura backed off a few steps when he saw Seto suddenly glaring at him, with a fire in his eyes. “Give it to me…” Seto said as nice as he could, but it still scared the crap out of Bakura. “What?” Bakura asked, surprised at the return of the cold-hearted part of his best friend Seto. “Your gun, damn it!” Seto snapped at Bakura. Bakura looked at the other guys on the court, and slowly took out a short but powerful gun that was hidden in his coat pocket, “Don't lose it. That's all I ask of ya.” Bakura hand it to Seto, whom snatched it quickly and ran like a cheetah off the basketball court and into… Well, I don't really know where he went…
/Rajah: What is that supposed to mean?
Raven: Hey, I just don't think Seto knows where Yami is, and Seto has a dark side in this story. It takes control of his body whenever Yami is hurt or threatened. Hence, Kobra Kaiba. He's more evil than he sounds.
Seto: (Disbelieve-ingly) You're gonna have me kill Yami!
Yami:(Lazily) how original. Most stories have Seto has some kind of evil presence in him
Raven: What? Its not like you've got a dark side, Yami.
Yami:(Clear throat) trust me I do. You & I are never in love so you cant know (Eye Seto like ham)
Seto: (Cowers in fear behind Raven) Look at what you've done! You've unleashed hell!
Raven: Yeah right, let's get back on track here/
Bakura stayed at the court, and tried to get some information out of the other boys. Hey, he was Bakura, he was born to be out numbered and beat the shit out of all of them. That's probably what made him and Seto such good friends.
(A/N: Unfortunately, Bakura got his news too late and won't be joining Seto on his rescue mission. But he'll be fine. Just incase if there are any Bakura-fan-type people out there.)
Seto ventured down streets, pushing anybody that he met up with, and stopped when he had finally reached the Hang out. Seto busted open the door with a simple light tap with his foot, and marched inside. A man was sitting at a table and stared up at Kaiba in shock, “Kaiba? What are you- AH!” Seto quickly took out the gun he had and hit the man with gun across his face harshly. The man fell to the ground. `Good entrance, if I do say so myself,' Seto thought as he waited to see if anyone else was there. No one showed up after a few seconds, so Seto decided that the man was alone.
The man crawled in agony, holding his probably-all ready-broken jaw, and trying to get away from Seto. Seto grabbed him harshly and pushed him to the wall. The man had a drop of blood forming at the corner of his lips, and writhed in pain as Seto crushed him to the wall. “Where is Marik?” Seto asked him angrily. “I don't know! Marik just had me stay here for watch out!” The man shouted. Seto crushed him even more and then quickly threw him head first into a nearby table. The man was still conscious, but he wished he wasn't. Seto took an evil step in front of the man and snidely said, “I doubt it. I know Marik, and he wouldn't just leave someone behind without letting them know where he was.” Seto grabbed the man from the back of his shirt and threw him across the room like he was a Frisbee; “Someone could walk in here and take this place for themselves. Marik wouldn't take that kind of risk without being the first to know. Now…” Seto took out his gun and pointed it right at the mans' forehead. The man closed his eyes praying loudly to himself as the cold metal touched his head and pushed him back and onto a couch at the other side of the room. Seto grinned widely at the mans fear, “I have one bullet in this gun, but who knows how many bangs it'll take for me to shoot you right in the head. Care to tell me where Marik is?” Seto clicked the safety on the gun off. The man peeked an eye open at Seto, “I don't' know, Marik didn't-” He whispered to Seto but was cut off with a glare. “Wrong answer,” Seto pulled the trigger and it made a loud bang, but the bullet wasn't in the first shot. Smoke came off the gun but still sounded like it was in good enough shape to do it again.
The man jumped in fear at the gun and sweat poured out of his body as he realized that the first shot was lucky, and he was still alive. Seto pulled back the Safety again and this time gave the man a harsh push with the gun, “Care to try again?” The man bit his lip, Seto knew that he knew where Marik was, the only question left was, Was Seto that willing to kill someone just to find out?
“I'm waiting,” Seto put his finger on the trigger and made it well known that he was willing to shoot him again. The man gulped loudly, and his mouth became dry, “Marik… He's. Um. He's…” Seto narrowed his eyes together as the man went silent in mid-sentence, “Tell me and you'll live through this. Steer me wrong or continue to refuse, and every waking moment of your life will be nothing but complete torment and misery.” The Man gulped again, but tried to form words. Seto growled as this was taking too long, and he decided to add something to the torment. Seto lifted his foot up and placed it gently on the mans crotch. The man gasped at the contact and the evil in Setos eyes, it was like he was a whole other person. Seto squashed his foot on to the man slowly; “I'm running out of patience with you. Tell me now or prepare to die.” The man still remained quiet, so Seto did the worst thing…He Stomped harshly on the mans crotch and he didn't hold back on his strength.
“HE'S OUT AT DRAGONS FANG ALLEY! HE'S AFTER THAT WEIRD HAIRED KID FRIEND OF YOURS! HE TOLD ME NOT TO TELL YOU, SO YOU WOULDN'T INTERFERE!” the man shouted loudly, his face as red as blood itself and tears pouring Out of his eyes. Seto smirked as he took his foot and gun off the man, he stood back and stared at the man, “Dragons Fang Alley, huh?” Seto put his gun away in his pocket, with a devilish smirk on his smug face. The man was gasping and panting for air as every part of his body ached from his fear and his growing misery. “Good boy, maybe I should let Marik know you let me in on his secrets…” Seto patted the side of the mans face with his hand teasingly. The man pulled away from Seto and dropped off the couch and onto the floor, still panting heavily and his eyes wide from fear. The man held his crotch with his hand and cried to himself as Seto stared down on him. Seto scoffed at the man and pushed him harshly with the tip of his foot and turned his way towards the door. Seto walked out of the door and made his way towards Dragons Fang alley, “Too bad Marik won't be living to even hear what happened between me and that eunuch back there.” Seto held back his head and laughed manically.
Seto walked, as he knew where Dragons fang was, and it wasn't that long of a walk to the alley. When he arrived, it was exactly as the man from before said. Marik was beating up a poor, defenseless, Weird haired kid, which he knew only as Yami. Seto wanted to make a daring appearance, as he usually did on his alley when he had blood lust, so he sneaked around a few alley dumpsters and other things and he got ready to pounce on Marik. Seto caught a glimpse of Yami's agony and tear stained face, and Seto's Anger and Rage consumed him in one whole bite. No one was going to walk away from this alive. Seto had never reacted this way before, and it only took to see a simple person he knew to be destroyed for him to feel burned up inside.
It wasn't until he saw Marik laughing greedily at the show in front of him, did Seto lose his temper and lost his patience that he played out his plan. Seto took his gun out of his pocket and made sure the bullet was in the first shot; it was, so Seto got up and snuck behind Marik. “This is taking too long! I want to hear him scream you idiots! If you ass holes don't make him scream before we kill him tonight! I'll make sure all of you scream in his place!” Marik shouted, followed by what seemed to be a devils laugh. Seto grinned as Marik hadn't noticed him, and he was an easy target at the moment. Seto put the gun to the back of Marik's head and pulled back the safety, “Care to reconsider that, Marik Ishtar.” Seto smirked as Marik shuddered at the cold metal he had at the back of his head. Seto was displeased that the men picking on Yami still hadn't stopped so he decided to make Marik to stop them, “Tell them to stop…”
Marik was in complete fear, but he still hadn't figured out who was behind him, “Men… Stop your attack. Stand down.” The Men immediately stopped their attack on Yami and stared in horror at Seto. “Now, be a good little boy, Marik, and say good night. I'm going to sing you a little lullaby, Marik, and you better know the chorus!” Seto placed his finger on the trigger and devilishly smiled at the fear before him grew with each passing second. “Kaiba? W-what are you doing here?” Marik quirked an eyebrow as he now remembered that Seto used to be this cruel and evil when Seto first joined his gang. “Oh you know, killing little Mother fuckers that dare cross into my territory. You do realize that Dragons Fang is MY alley? You and your little shit headed thugs better get your Asses moving before I really get mad!” Seto shoved Marik harshly in the back, and held his gun out stretched towards them. Marik was too angry and he thought that his plans have worked too well to actually give up the fight, so he tried reasoning with Seto, “Stand down Kaiba. We're you're team mates, Remember? You wouldn't shoot your own gang, would ya?”
Even the Great Marik Ishtar, was afraid of the even greater `Kobra Kaiba'.
Seto chuckled and put his gun down slowly, “Yeah I guess you're right…” All the guys calmed down, seeing as Seto was turning back to his usual self. Marik sighed in relief, and walked over to Seto, “Man, you gave me the scare. You really had me fooled…” Seto laughed along with the others friendly, and the others began to relax. “So, Kaiba. Were you pretending to shoot us?” Marik asked. Seto quickly turned around and shot three guys in the face in one shot (Don't ask, this guy is evil… I haven't decided to give him powers or not…) “Who said I was pretending?” Seto had such a mean glare coming off of him that the Devil himself would run for the hills. Marik shouted retreat and many ran off, those that were shot dead in the face were left behind. Seto kicked one of the guys that was closest to him and the first to get shot, he could hear him gurgle and that only met one thing… he was still alive. The man held up his hand to Seto in beg for forgiveness and a wish for life. Seto snickered and shot him in the crotch at first, “You don't deserve to live, so why do you even bother to beg me for life?” And finished him off with a shot through the heart. Seto blew at the smoke coming off the barrel of his gun and sat it back in the coat pocket. “Street Trash. Nothing but dirt on my Alley,” Seto huffed to himself.
Seto looked over to the other side of the alley and saw that Yami was still laying on the ground. Barely alive, but most likely to be unconscious. Still being in Setos evil mode, Seto sighed and took out his gun again, “Forgot one.”
Yamis body still twitched as blood still poured from his legs and torso. Seto grinned as this was an easy target to him, and a simple bullet to the head should take care of the mans Misery problem. Seto stopped when he got close to the body examined it one last time, and humphed. (The Evil Kaiba has no respect for life and also believes that Yami is a distraction to what is really important in Setos life, so the only one that can really save Yami is… You know the answer!). Seto placed his foot gently at Yami's neck and held Yami's face up to see if blood was also coming from anywhere on the head. Yami's face was wet from tears and his hair was dripping of his all-ready-spilt blood, his body was fully naked and looked deprived of breath. Yami did seem attractive to the Evil Seto, but to him a lover was never needed except to bring down others. Seto groaned and took his foot away from Yami. Seto heard a moan and saw more twitches of movement coming from the boy beneath his foot. Yami's arm twitched and began to move, trying to feel if anyone or anything was there. “Lets get this over with. Good night, who ever you are,” Seto placed his foot on Yami's head and pointed the gun down. The pointer pointing directly at the back of Yami's head. Yami struggled, as the foot on the back of his head didn't have a familiar presence to it, and the voice sounded familiar but seemed very different from his memory to become identified. Seto pulled back the safety but he had the strange urge to bite his bottom lip. Seto was about to pull the trigger, but his hand shook rapidly and his face began to sweat.
Why was he acting this way?
Seto tried to get his pinpoint again, but his body wracked and it just couldn't go under his control. Seto grumbled and cursed loudly, He just couldn't do it. He couldn't shoot a defenselss person on his alley that was dieing slowly. But Why?
Seto put back on the safety and stuck the gun back into his pocket. Seto pinched his arm, “Thanks a lot you worthless emotions…”
Seto turned away, deciding to just have the boy die on his own, but he couldn't stop looking over his shoulder. Either he was this territorial over a small alley or he was worried about Yami. A part of him wanted to shoot him, better to die quick than slowly and painfully. The other felt sympathetic and wanted to help Yami live. “Stupid emotions. I'd rather not even care about you,” Seto went back to Yami and knelt down to inspected the boy closer, for some reason he couldn't bring himself down to kill him. What was it that saved himself? He had killed hundreds of street thugs before, why does an innocent boy with nothing left to fight for, have that a street thug doesn't?
Was there of something of value on the boy? Was the boy valuable to him?
Whatever the reason was, he couldn't shoot him. Something mentally was in his way. Seto growled, “Might as well take you home with me…” Seto grabbed Yamis jacket and a few other things that belong to Yami and covered the small boy with them. (To help aid Yamis privacy, for he was still completely naked, and also to help keep the warmth for Yami's sake.) Seto picked Yami up and held him bridal style. Seto gasped when he saw the young boy open his eyes slightly and a small tear ran down the side of his face. “Thank… you,” Seto heard Yami croak out before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he passed out. “Whatever,” Seto snidely replied and walked home, still thinking as to why was this the only boy in the whole world that could bring him down to actually caring for him.
When Seto arrived home…
Seto opened the door with his foot, as usual, and carried Yami in. Joey came in, “hey bro why are ya- AAAAHHHHHH! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!” Joey ran right at Seto, and started pounding on his arms. Seto didn't even flinch. “I didn't do anything! He ran into some thugs down on my alley, and they tried to kill him!” Seto shouted as he sat Yami on the couch. Joey gasped, he knew what that voice meant, “You're not my bro?” “And now you figured that? Tell me how you can get rid of your emotions?” Seto grabbed Joey by the collar and held him slightly off the ground. Joey struggled in Setos grasp, Seto was unusually strong when he wasn't himself. “I don't even know what ya mean!” Joey shouted choking slightly. “Hey, what's going on in here!” Momma Dean appeared in the Hallway raised Cane in her hand. “Momma?” Setos voice turned back to normal as he looked around and noticed that Joey was in his grasps, struggling. Joey quirked an eyebrow, as Seto slowly put him down. “You okay, Bro?” Joey asked. Seto nodded, “I must've lost it again. I'm sorry Joey.” Seto looked around as nothing seemed familiar to him. Last he remembered he was the basketball court with some thugs, and that's about all he does remember…
Momma Dean screamed loudly as she noticed Yamis body on the couch. Seto stared at her quizzically but then looked at his hands and noticed the blood all over him. Seto gasped in horror, as he turned around slowly and saw the person with the same blood on him as he did. Setos eyes flashed with hurt, and he grimaced as a new headache started to form in his head. And flashes of pain and sorrow of Yami being beaten by some shadows flashed before his very eyes. But Seto didn't see that all night, How would he remember it now? A stronger headache rattled in Setos head. Seto grimaced at the pain and held his hand to his forehead. “Seto? … Seto! You've got to help him!” Joey grabbed Seto and stared him right in the face. Seto shook his head back to reality (Ignoring the Headache and heartache) and nodded. Joey asked for what he could do, Seto ordered him to take Momma Dean away and bring him his Doctors kit that he gets from his classes at school. (Work with the imagination, People. I know they don't give Doctors kits to High school juniors. Hell, I'm going to be a junior next year and I know they don't give it to us. In Missouri at least). Joey ran quickly, for the only one who knew about this stuff in the whole entire family, was his Brother.
Seto sat next to Yami, with a wash cloth in hand that he quickly got from the bathroom, and began trying to clean up the blood. “Can't believe I lost control again…” He started talking to himself. Yami mumbled in his unconscious state some things, trying to open his eyes and see the world around him again. “If this keeps up… I'll have to stop myself… Permanently, this time…” Seto spoke to himself, still having a hard time cleaning up the quickly drying blood on Yami. “Mmm,” Yami mumbled as his eyes struggled to open. Seto turned his head when he heard Yami mumble, and Yamis body struggled to move. Seto got up to Yami and whispered to him things to help calm him down. Yami mumbled stuff, but still Seto couldn't and didn't hear. “Shh, I'm not letting you go… Sssshhhh, you're safe now. Nothing can get you anymore…” Seto kept Yamis face still with his hands, keeping eye contact with him. Yami let a tear fall from his eyes, he was in fact still alive, and he was with Seto. Yamis eyes became relaxed but his body couldn't calm down enough to let Seto take care of him. Yamis arms kept pushing him away and his legs tried to move or to kick Seto away, but they were too damaged as they were. Seto got a little bit more defiant and was about to pin Yami to the couch, if that's is what it took to take care of him, “Sit still, Yami. You're too much in pain for now, but you'll feel better I promise! … Ah! Sit still!” Seto struggled with Yami, and was about to jump on top of him. Yami cried loudly as his legs suddenly stopped moving and his arms straightened out, jerking. “Yami? Tell me, Whats Wrong!” Seto shouted loudly over Yamis screaming. “Body… Aahhh! …. Hurts too much! I can't stand it anymore! … End my misery, Seto! Kill Me if you have to!” Yami shouted and was suddenly grabbed by Setos two firm hands by the head. Seto met face to face with Yami, in a close up to, and he said to him softly, “No, I love you far too much to kill you right on the spot or to even think about killing you period. You'll feel better soon, but you must help me, and relax.” More tears fell from Yamis eyes as he understood the words coming from Setos mouth. “I-I can't… It hurts too mu-” Yami was silenced when Seto closed the distance between the two with a simple kiss. Yami relaxed and his body less ached, and now felt need for Setos touch on him. Seto parted from Yami after he could get a nice sample of Yami's taste. Both enjoyed the interaction, but the kiss was only to calm down. Yami didn't think it was for Love, but for Seto, he was confessing to Yami quietly. “Better?” Seto asked still enticed by the kiss, and still in a love Daze. Yami's eye flooded with tears, “It still hurts. Please, take this pain away from me… Give this ache to someone else… Please.” Seto kissed Yami on the forehead, “I promise I will, but please relax…”
Just then, Joey walked in with a cup in his hand and a briefcase like thing in his other hand. Seto looked, and nodded his head towards Yami for Joey to give the cup of `Water' for. Seto stepped back and got his briefcase opened, mentally pinching himself for grabbing a needle. Yami was curious as to why he would need a gray bubbling water than to have cold fresh water. Joey tried to help Yami sit up but Yami was suspicious. That water wasn't normal water, and a strange smell came from it. “Yami, take it. Its water, it'll help ya. Just take a sip, if that's all you think you can stand. You'll run out of body fluids if you don't at least drink something.” Joey said, as he pushed the cup closer to Yami. Yami protested, but somehow Joey was able to get around and was able to make Yami drink it.
It tasted very sweet to Yami, and it did taste like normal water. Seto suddenly ran beside Yami and held him. Yami drank the water slowly, not realizing that his body slowed down and he was almost falling asleep drinking something. Seto smiled happily as he didn't want to think about helping Yami get `Patched' up, not until Yami was fast asleep.
Yami kept drinking the strange sweet liquid till he suddenly couldn't move anymore. The glass slipped out of his hands and crashed onto the hard wood floor. The glass hit the floor with a bang and shattered into a thousand pieces, To Yami he could see it smash slowly and everything seemed to be blurry. Yami could hear his heart beat loudly in his ears and he had more need for air. He clawed at his own neck because he felt like he couldn't breathe. Yami struggled to breathe but he had to say something for his worry consumed him, “What happened? … Everything… is so … blurry… Seto? Where are you? … Why can't I see you…?” Yami's voice became slurred and his body laid back into Seto's embrace. Seto tried to set Yami down on the couch, but Yami's worry made himself worry. Yami's eyes rolled and arms kept reaching out for something. Seto grabbed one of Yami's hands and warmed it quickly. Yami's other hand joined the captured one, and it seemed like Yami could see Seto again, for he was smiling. It was a weak smile, but for Yami's sake, that was all he needed, was for Seto to be around. Yami stared up at Seto before everything became too cloudy and he couldn't see, feel, or hear anything more. The last thought Yami had before he was knocked out was Seto staring down on him and whispering, “Relax, and Dream of Endless Love.”
Seto felt Yami's body go limp in his arms, and looked up at Joey, “Knock out?” “Yep, the best one in da house. I also put some pain relieva in his mouth before I gave him the `Water'. You need any help, bro?” Joey asked. Seto pointed at his briefcase, “Bring it over here. You're going to be my assistant…”
An hour of clean up passed and the two were still trying their best to take care of Yami… And a very Quiet Seto.
“Why didn't you tell me to call the ambulance?” Joey asked his older brother. Seto was currently bandaging Yami's legs and warming them up with his warm hands, “…. Cause I couldn't take the risk.” Seto sighed and laid Yami's leg back down on the couch. Joey grabbed a near by blanket and laid it over Yami, “Risk of what?” Seto stood up and put his tools back in his briefcase, “Never mind… Its late, we should leave Yami to his sleep.” Joey walked over to Seto and laid his hand on Seto's shoulder, “You okay, Man?” Seto nodded, “I'll check up on Yami tomorrow. Until then, we should call Yami's Father and let him know… You want to take care of it?” “Sure,” Joey groaned. Seto stood up with his briefcase and walked into his room.
Usually Seto would close his door and plop in to bed, but this time he wanted to keep an eye on Yami. He could see Yami from his bedroom door, and it wouldn't be bad to see a sleeping god just a hallway down from your room. What if Yami woke up early and was scared because he didn't know where he was? Someone would have to hear it first, right?
Seto nodded in agreement with himself, and got ready for bed. When Joey was done talking (More like Arguing) with Yami's dad, he went into Seto's room and gave Seto a brotherly pat on the shoulder. Seto nodded in appreciation, “Go to bed kid. You've got a kid to pick up tomorrow, “ Seto pushed Joey friendly. Joey yawned and went into his room. Seto walked into the living room one last time and got himself a drink of water. Seto also walked with a new fresh cup of water and sat it at a lamp stand and sat it behind Yami. Seto knelt down to Yami's side, and whispered to Yami in forgiveness, “You'll be better when you wake up… Maybe you and I can talk to each other tomorrow. To let me know how you feel…” A tear fell from the side of Seto's face. He did love Yami, but if his evil kept interfering or at the first sign of a threat from him to Yami. He would have to leave Yami and this world behind… Permanently.
(A/N: Meaning that Seto will commit Suicide if his other even dares to harm Yami. The threat is pretty much in vain, seeing as he can't see or hear anything when his blood thirsty self is out creating mayhem.)
Seto suddenly chuckled as a thought crossed his mind, “This worlds a crazy place, isn't it? … The snow comes down in June… Sometimes the sun goes around the moon … Just when you give up and throw yourself in, everything becomes such a surprise when some lends you a hand. This isn't how I planned this, nor is it how I ever expected to say this but…(A/N: Yes that saying is from the song, `Save the Best for Last' by Vanessa Williams)” Seto sat up slightly and placed a small kiss on Yami's lips. Of course Yami didn't react, being as cold and knocked out as he was, he probably didn't even feel it. Seto placed his hand on Yami's head and moved aside a gold bang that must've gotten in the way during his confession of love. Seto smiled at how Yami looked so peaceful when he slept soundly. Yami's chest rising and falling slowly and Yami's breath steadily moving in and out of Yami's barely parted supple lips. Seto gave his head a shake and stood up as his mind began wondering about sensual things. He never realized that he would be so open and accepting to falling in love with Yami, but he did and he was willing to accept it. “I guess… Well, as long as Marik can't know. everything should be fine… I just wish I didn't have to hide my feelings all this time,” Seto spoke to himself as he placed his hand softly on Yami's head and gave it a stroke. Yami's face felt cold to his hand, but the warmth in Seto's heart didn't bother with it. He leaned over Yami and placed his hand on the light switch of the looming lamp, “We'll talk more, later…” Seto turned off the light and crept to his room quietly. He went inside his room and slept soundly through the night. Seto secretly wondered, before he fell fast asleep in la-la land, if Yami would ever love him back with just as much passion as he wanted to give to him.
(A/N: Awe, that was so Kawaii of Seto to say that to a dead, lifeless, doll version of Yami.
Seto: YOU MADE ME AN IDIOT!
Raven: Now why would I take your moms credit? She did a bad enough job as it is.
Seto: (Glaring)
Yami: So… Am I dead?
Raven: Keep Reading and you'll find out…)
Yami's Dream… His P.O.V.
I stood in the middle of complete Darkness. Nothing was around me, and nothing seemed to welcome me. There were no sound, no lights, no floor, and no ceiling. There's wasn't anything to be seen.
“Hello? Is anyone out there?” I asked, but not daring to take a step forward if I didn't know what was out there. No one answered me.
I wanted to take a step forward and find someone that could help me, but I didn't want to risk falling into nothing. The nothingness around me was eerie enough; I can't imagine if there wasn't any oxygen if I did go to another place. That would be all I had now, just oxygen to breathe with.
I couldn't take the silence anymore and I dared to take a step forward. When my foot landed on the floor, a bright light flashed on me. I covered my eyes from the intensity of the light, but the light soon dimmed down so I could actually look without grimacing. I could see someone was standing in front of me, was it someone I knew?
He was a tall man, about the same height as Seto but he wore a phantom like mask over his eyes. He still had the same warm and beautiful smile as the Seto I knew had. His body was in like a shining but pure black outfit and he seemed happy to see me, as his smile was very bright and welcoming. I looked around and found myself in the middle of what seemed to be a ballroom dance. Everyone was dancing with smiles as bright as the lights above me were. It seemed that no one cared I was there, all except the man who stood in front of me. I looked down at myself, feeling strange things appear on me, so I was naturally curious to find out. My Shoulders and my Arms were bare except for a strap that rested on my elbow. A feather light top of a dress rested softly on my chest and was the only thing that was connected with the straps to my elbow. It felt like I was wearing a dress because I was wearing a one-piece clothing that went from the top of my chest and went all the way down to my knees where it opened up and flared out a bit. I blushed a little thinking that I was dressed like a girl, but if no one cared about my looks then I would be fine. Jewelry dangled from my ears and my neck. Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds, and even Sapphires appeared in my hair as my hand felt its way through. A regular Diamond Necklace that sparkled brightly placed itself around my neck (No hands attached), probably to just give my neck some attention. When I looked at the Sapphire bracelet on my wrist I saw a hand placed on top of my hand. I jumped at the new third hand I was seeing, but I suddenly felt a jolt as my feet were suddenly lifted up. I lost my balance for a mere second, and wondered why my feet couldn't stand still. Another hand grabbed me and helped me stand up, it looked familiar to me, for some reason. I looked down to my feet and I had dance shoes on my feet, they shined crimson red… Like my eyes.
“Shall we dance?” The man that still had his hand on me stepped back a little and placed only one of his hands to me (As in offering to dance with him). I looked around and noticed that no one was dancing anymore and they were all watching me now. My hand moved into his, and he grasped it gently. I could tell that I was blushing, for his touch did seem familiar to me. Everyone clapped for me, as the man led me to the middle of the dance floor. We stopped and we placed our hands on each other. His hand laid gently on my hip and the other slowly caressed my hand. I placed my hand in his caressing one and the other on his shoulder. The music started and it was a ballroom dance song called `If only you knew'. The light instrumental music was long enough for me to stare at him. He quirked his eyebrow at my staring and asked me if I was all right. I nodded quickly, and he suddenly pulled me into dancing as the singer of the song began to sing.
(Keke Wyatt. “If Only You Knew.”)
“I must have rehearsed my lines a thousand times,
Until I had them memorized.
But when I get up the nerve to tell you,
the words that never seem to come out right. Ohh”
Until I had them memorized.
But when I get up the nerve to tell you,
the words that never seem to come out right. Ohh”
Our bodies began to dance to the soft song. He led and I followed his feet. How I managed to dance with High heels on my feet, I'll never know. Both of our bodies moved in perfect rhythm and our dancing became the attention of the whole room. Nothing and no one else was moving except the song and the two of us.
“If only you knew how much I do,
do love you, oh.
If only you knew,
how much I do, do need you.”
do love you, oh.
If only you knew,
how much I do, do need you.”
A few windows opened slowly wide by themselves and I could see the stars and the moon shinning outside over the mans shoulder. It was such a beautiful night, and I was dancing beautifully. How could things go any better?
“I dream of moments we share, but your not there,
I'm living in a fantasy.
But you don't even suspect,
could probably care less,
about the changes I been going through.”
I'm living in a fantasy.
But you don't even suspect,
could probably care less,
about the changes I been going through.”
I caught a glimpse of a familiar group that I saw in the crowd. It was my Mother and Father, they seemed to be in love again. My mother was crying happily for me and my Father was holding her close to him. I looked below my mother and I saw my little brother standing there, with his usual bright smile. I could've sworn that a single tear fell from my eye. This was my heaven… And I wished it wasn't too good to be true.
Yes, I know. I'm only dreaming, but sometimes a dream is the best kind thing you can do to heal a broken heart. I know my Heart hasn't stopped crying, what is yours doing?
“If only you knew how much I do,
do love you, oh.
If only you knew,
how much I do, do need you.”
do love you, oh.
If only you knew,
how much I do, do need you.”
We continued dancing till the man suddenly talked with me. “You look lovely tonight,” The man whispered to me as he twirled me around slowly. When our bodies rejoined, he held me even closer to his body. I could suddenly hear his heart beat, and it was loudly racing. Everyone awed at how the man and me were staring and dancing with each other lovingly. When I snapped back to reality and realized that I have been staring at him for the past few minutes, I pushed myself away from him. The man seemed hurt for some reason, and tried to grab my hand again. I pulled back and stood near an opening that the people around had somehow made, “I can't… I can't dance anymore! I gave it up a long time ago! I can't turn back now!” I ran away with tears flowing from my eyes. The man gasped at the sound of how I gave up the one thing that I lived mostly for. After that, I don't what he did.
”No, you don't even suspect,
Could probably care less,
about the changes I been going through.
Could probably care less,
about the changes I been going through.
If only you knew how much I do,
do love you, oh.
If only you knew,
how much I do, do need you.”
do love you, oh.
If only you knew,
how much I do, do need you.”
I ran and ran until I suddenly ran into what looked like a courtyard. A fountain was flowing gracefully in front of me with statues of dancers with angels flying above them. More tears flowed from my eyes. Was everything in this whole place about the one thing I left behind so I wouldn't hurt anyone anymore? I walked forward and knelt down to the Fountain and cried. My tears flowing off my cheek and into the fountain, as I cried about the Dream I destroyed on my own. The dream I convinced myself to be not worth living.
I could still hear the lovely music from the dance room, and I strangely knew the words. I sang to myself quietly, when I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I didn't look and kept singing to myself.
”Oh, if, if
o, You don't know how much u don't know
I said you don't know,
how much I need you sugar,
only you knew,
how much I do,
I love you baby, only if u knew how much i do,
i love u baby, i need u baby”
o, You don't know how much u don't know
I said you don't know,
how much I need you sugar,
only you knew,
how much I do,
I love you baby, only if u knew how much i do,
i love u baby, i need u baby”
The song ended and I felt much better. I turned my head and noticed it was the man from before. The Seto Look alike that had danced with me. I turned away from him, and I rubbed my face to dry away the tears I had. The man walked forward and sat down beside me. I felt a warm arm wrap itself around me and I immediately blushed. “I love you too,” He whispered to me. I laid my head on his shoulder, I didn't care if he misunderstood me or not when I sang to myself. The man took off his phantom mask and he threw it in the fountain. The mask made the water ripple and the Stars in the water brightened even more, I admired it and began smiling. This man knew me, and he knew what it took to make me fell better… somehow he did, but who was he?
I lifted my head up a bit more and I looked the man in the face. It was indeed Seto, but there was something different about him. “Why did you do it?” He asked me, still keeping the loving gaze we had on each other ever since the Dance inside. I knew what he was asking, but I decided to play dumb, “Did what?”
“Why did you give up? You were dancing with me, and then you suddenly gave up your dancing. We talked about this a long time ago. We were in this together,” He held my hand into his and I gasped at the ting of Two rings that we were both wearing. I had never noticed the ring on my hand before now, but the two of ours were definitely there now. My shined of Gold and his was of Silver, both were mixed of the same color but mine was more Silver based and Seto's was more of Gold. Both were in the same style just slightly different colors. Seto quirked an eyebrow at my surprise, “Are you okay? I know being a phantom wasn't THAT good of a costume. Joey did make it after all.” Seto chuckled kindly, I didn't say or even let out a sign of humor. Seto stopped and stared at me, “What's wrong, Love?” “Seto?” I took my hand back and stared at the ring on my finger. Was it true? Was I really bonded with Seto in Marriage?
Seto placed his arms around me again and held me close to him, “What is it? What do you want to tell me?”
What did I want to tell him? More importantly, What world am I in? This isn't Real. It just… Can't be. Everything that is here, isn't how I remember what my life was like. why can I see my parents… Together, again. My heart has felt nothing but pain and Misery everyday after my mothers death, why is it when I'm here with Seto, I'm not the least bit sad or the least bit mad at anybody? I can't blame myself, I can't blame my dreams, I can't blame nobody whenever I see Seto.
Why can I see what I know isn't real? And why do I mope on things to make them the way I want them.
I leaned my head towards Seto and I listened closely to his heartbeat. His heart seemed so comforting to me, that I forgot I was even thinking such ridiculous questions in my head. Everything moved so much more faster than mine or his heartbeat could ever go as fast. “Why are we here?” I asked him, enjoying how he laid his arms around me, warming me up from the chilly wind of the night. Seto pushed me gently so we could look at each other again, “We're here? We're here because of a party your parents wanted to throw, and they asked us to dance for them. I remember that you cried all night in bed when your mom asked you. Why did you cry? Is dancing really that bad for you?” I turned away from him.
No one has ever understood me, and it would take a very smart person and a very determined one to try to understand me now.
I didn't answer him, and stared back into the fountain. “What?” Seto asked. “This isn't real… My Mother and Brother died a long time ago… I gave up dancing a long time ago…” I whispered. Seto suddenly embraced me and held me close to him, “Just because you say no doesn't mean you've quit. Please, Dance for us again. You have such a beautiful body and a great way of moving your body. You're the most perfect creature to dance.” I harshly pushed him away from me, and faced him as my tears started to form again, “You don't understand! My Family is dead because I wanted to Dance! This dancing isn't a gift, It's a curse!” I shouted loudly at him, and tried to turn away from him. Seto placed a hand on my face and moved my head to look up at him once again to see the love and passion he had on me, “Its still your dream, isn't it?” I shook my head to escape his touch, but he had such a loving look on me, I couldn't move away from him.
I suddenly began nodding my head in as `Yes. I do.' Seto leaned his face closer to mine, “Then don't stop. Put the past behind you… C'mon lets go-” I stopped him in mid sentence when I grabbed his hand. He was trying to leave me here to cry. I could tell from his worry of me, that he wanted me to figure this out all by myself. But I don't want to be left alone again, I'm miserable because I all ready am alone. “What is it?” He asked me in whisper. “Are we… Married?” I asked him. “Dreams can come true, can't they? This is your Fantasy, you tell me,” Seto looked back at me. I nodded, but I still had one more question, “What will happen if I try to dance again? I don't want to hurt the real you, but…” I stopped as I began leaning into Setos arms and he was leaning down towards my lips. Seto grabbed me tightly around my waist, (being a little impatient are we) and pulled me into a deep longing kiss, which seemed to be what we've both wanted for quite a while. I moaned into his kiss and submitted to his need for me. Seto pulled away a few, however long it took, later and whispered to me in my ear, “Don't worry about the real me. I'm sure he'll be there to support you, and that's all you'll ever need to make this dream to come true… this dream won't last forever, so go for it while you still have the chance.” I snuggled closer into his chest and asked him another question, “What about my mother? What about my Brother? What about… Me?”
“Dream about them as long as you like. They'll keep watch on you from heaven, and you'll see them in here,” Seto lifted his hand and placed it on to my chest, where my heart was still beating proudly.
I closed my eyes, I was tired in my dream and Seto holding me like this was the best I've ever felt. “I love you, Seto…” I whispered to him. “As do I, For You,” he whispered to me.
Everything went white as the real me opened my eyes to the strangely familiar world around me.
End Dream….
“I'm at… the Kaiba's?” I asked myself. It must've been very early morning when I suddenly woke up. The sun was barely shining through the window. I heard someone sit down somewhere in the room close to me and I saw that it was only a smiling Seto. Seto was eating some breakfast in a nice comfy chair near a window and must've not of noticed me because he wasn't smiling at me. I pulled the covers back a bit and noticed that my clothes still had a little bit of blood on them. I didn't react with a scream; I didn't gag because it was seeping through the sheets and into the couch, I didn't wince because moving my legs still hurt badly. I did nothing, but stare; I've all ready saw the blood covering me from head to toe. This wasn't any surprise.
“You're awake?” I looked back at Seto and he sat in a surprised manner. “Yes, I am…” I whispered. My throat was unusually dry. “Thirsty?” Seto handed me a sudden cup of ice-cold water. I gave him a curious look, and refused the water. “Its normal water. I swear it. I only gave you Knock out yesterday because it would be too painful to sew up your cuts,” he tried convincing me that the cup wasn't what I thought it was. I took the cup away from him, my throat too parched to force me to be fussy about what I actually was drinking. I drank it down hungrily, and Seto watched me from that same spot next to me. I kept my gaze still on him as I kept drinking. I kept picturing him like I did in my dream; he did look very handsome and very mysterious in my dream.
“What?” Seto asked me. “Nothing, I was just wanting to thank you. That's all,” I said quietly after I drank the last drop of the cup of cold water. “What, all I did was clean off all that blood on you. Joey sewed up your cuts,” Seto said. I nodded in appreciation, “I know, but that wasn't what I was thanking you for…” A smile appeared on my face and a small giggle escaped my throat. Seto stared at me like I needed to go to the insane asylum right then and there. “Then what were you thanking me for?” Seto asked me quizzically.
He doesn't realize that I'm thanking him, for something that he never did for me. Except in my dreams, he did do something I never thought anyone could do...
I couldn't help but giggle some more. “May I have some more Water?” I asked still parched from my thirst. Seto nodded and stared at me the whole time he was getting me a new drink. I still giggled to myself.
I'm starting to think that I really am losing my mind.
I gave one last chuckle at Seto and looked around me. The house seemed different from when I last came here. There were more pictures that I could see, and the Chairs there, Since when have they been there? I wanted to walk around, so I tried to step out of the couch. When I did Seto cleared his throat and glared at me. “What?” I asked him. “Get back in Bed,” Seto commanded me, like I was some dog. I pouted at him and merely replied, “This isn't a bed. This is a bloody couch. I don't like being on it.”
Seto suddenly leaned down to me and swiftly picked me up in one motion. I was startled by his sudden movement, but loved the fact that I was resting my head on his chest. I was just being silly to him about the whole `The Couch isn't really a bed' thing, but he obviously took it seriously. Seto laid down the cup in my hands and walked to somewhere else in the house. I didn't know where he was going to put me and I wasn't all that concerned, but I loved the way his heart beat was starting to race as I laid my ear close to it. I was in heaven…
I drank down the water quickly, and asked Seto for more. When Seto left I smirked devilishly, “Now's my chance to get-” “Back in bed!” Seto shouted from the kitchen, finishing off my sentence with not what I really had in mind. “Damn!” I cursed in whisper. I wanted to walk around, Is that so bad?
Seto walked back in a few seconds later, this time with a larger cup and a pitcher of cold water. Darn, I guess I won't be having any privacy for quite a while. Seto glared at me, for I was still standing at the side of the bed. My feet ached painfully and my legs felt ready to give in but I could easily ignore the suffering my lower half felt when Seto was around. “What?” I asked him dumbly. “Don't you have a bed to get back into, right about now?” He asked me sarcastically and sat the cup of water in my hands again. “Where am I?” I wanted to at least get some kind of talk out of him…plus I was bored and talking was fun when you find the right person to talk to. He did seem oddly quiet since I woke up. Maybe because I'm just talking too much. “You're at our house, and this is my room,” Seto said to me, strangely in a soft and kind manner. Not as annoyed as I thought he would be because of me. “And I'm in here, because…” A sarcastic question of mine. “Cause you keep complaining that a couch doesn't count as a bed,” Seto chuckled at me. “Well it isn't,” I crossed my arms smugly at him and looked away from him. Seto sighed, and to me it sounded like he did it in love, I passed the thought away and was about to talk with him some more, but he suddenly gave me a gentle shove at the shoulders. I fell backwards onto the bed and Seto stayed standing up. Seto stared down on me with a kind smile on his face, “Go back to sleep. You'll need it for the long walk back to your house this afternoon.” “I'm going back? But what about School?” I asked him, starting to feel a little dizzy. “You're not well enough, so I excused you from school. I'll go pick up our homework and we can work on them later. Until then, I'll stay in the living room, and you can stay in here, catching some sleep while you can.” Seto pulled back the covers of his nice feather bed for me and let me crawl in to the sheets like a little child. I was too dizzy and felt too sleepy to even care on how he treated me, so I let it pass. I let out a sigh of relief as I lay in his bed and my eyes slowly closed once again. I fought my sleepiness a little bit more, to try to stay awake.
Seto sighed to me again, and sat down next to me on the bed, “What is it now? You want me to rub your feet?” “Now that you mention it…” I mumbled sleepily, playing around, but it really wouldn't be that bad of an idea. “Well?” Seto knew I was playing around. “Can't you at least stay with me? Until I fall asleep?” I asked him rolling on to my side so I could see him better. “Ooh, that won't take long,” Seto mocked, still smiling at me. I reached out to his hand and laid mine on top of his, “Aren't you just the little First place winner in the `Best Friend Contest'.” I yawned loudly, losing the battle of staying awake, obviously. “Heh, Go to Sleep Yami. I'll be here when you wake up,” I closed my eyes obediently, and tried to sleep but with a smile on my face still edged its way out of me. I gave Seto's hand a short squeeze, in appreciation of his concern of me and because also to make sure he didn't run out on me. Before I fell back into deep sleep, I felt the bed move and felt a warm body (Most likely Seto's) lay down next to me on the bed, and long arms wrapping around me protectively. I still felt the warm gentle hand of Seto gently grasping my hand, and I did not once feel it let go of my hand.
