*Yugi's POV*
I sighed as I made my way home. Another awful day watching Yami and Tea as a couple. Tea always shoots me looks that say how much she dispises me. Ever since I told Tea I'm gay she had been cold to me. She even cournered me once telling me to stay away from *her* Yami .( *mock vomits* ) She told me that Yami would never love me. Yami would be disgusted with me and I agree. After all Yami is perfect in every way. Me? I just the little shrimp who gets in everyones way. Yami's my guardian, my protecter...but I dont think I can live with just that.
I'm not sure when my feelings for Yami started but I think it was right after I solved the puzzle. He was so dark and mysterious. Everything I would never be. When Yami got his own body after Duelist Kingdom my feelings grew ever stronger. But it seemed my feeling would never be important. Tea instantley fell in love with Yami. How could I compete with her. She was beautiful (I DIDN'T JUST WRITE THAT!! I'M UNCLEAN!!!) and I was a nobody. I open the door with a heavy heart. I didn't even realize that I had reached home so quickly.
I had gotten home before Yami which wasent suprising. He told me he needed to talk to Tea after school. He was takeing her to some fancy Italien place. I slowly trudge up to my room and throw my backpack into the courner, I made sure no one was around. I was alone. Good. I pull a small box out from under my bed. I opened the box to reveil a small dagger. I shivered as I touched the cool metal. I've been keeping this safe just in case. I dont know how long I've been holding on to this small but deadly weapon. But I'm glad I kept it. No one really needs me. My friends all prefer Yami. Even grandpa prefers Yami. I'm just holding Yami back. He doesn't need me. Bakura needs Ryou. They've been dating for a year now. I feel so jealous of them. They can annouce their love and not be ridiculed. This is for you Yami.
I take off the millenium puzzle. I want Yami to get worried. I press the deadly blade to my arm. I wince with the pain but I refuse to scream. The bloods slowly flowing down my arm. My last thoughts are of Yami. The holder of my heart. I heard a yell and strong arms around me as my mind went....
