Part 14

I rubbed my sore arm asYoshiko trotted down a dirt road. It started to burn about 1 hour ago, before leaving the village. I wish I still had my medicine. Yoshiko growled in discomfort, she was whining whole lot more ever since getting thrown out the window, it must have made a larger impact than I had thought. We passed a tree and she went and sat in the shade, a good idea. I know it was winter in present Dommino but here it was summer or spring. I picked a weird looking pink fruit from the tree and sat down. It was good and sweet. The leaves rustled in the wind and blossoms came with it. I saw Yoshiko's sorrow filled eyes look across a small hill. There were cows up on it. "You want to go there?" I asked with a mouthful of fruit. She shook her head and plopped down. I wonder if demon foxes get depressed? She sure looked it.

When we had passed the hill full of cows I heard a soft melancholy music coming from another hill. It sounded like a violin or piano, maybe a little of both? Yoshiko's ears perked, her eyes lit with a burning flame. She slowly walked to the sound. "Yoshiko!" She stopped and let me get on. The music seemed to soften as we got closer to the hill, that made her ran faster. When we reached the top I realized there was no player but only instruments, but I could see the violin's stick move and the piano's keys push. I stared at the beautiful violin while Yoshiko moved to the piano. It was a dread looking red, but it suited the music it played. I reached to touch it, the area went white when I did, I pulled my hand away and color returned. "Mierow, mieow's'" She had added an `S' to her growl. I put my hand back on. I forced my eyes shut as a swirl of colors surrounded me.

Part 15

When I reopened my eyes my vision was blurry. I wiped my eyes but to no avail. I could make out that I was in a forest and there was a bed in the middle of it all. I slowly walked to the bed. "Wipe your eyes child." A voice whispered. It sounded very familiar, like a past member of my family like, like- No that was impossible. I picked up the blanket and wiped my eyes, my vision returned. I looked for a figure of some sort, nothing, not even Yoshiko. I let my head fall into the delicate pillow. "So soft." I muttered. I closed my eyes slightly as 1 of my many bangs drifted into my face. I let it fall, and the others that followed. I finished closing my eyes as a soft hand brushed my bangs. "I am here for you Ryou, always." "Thanks mom."

When I awoke I was on Yoshiko's back. "Mierow?" "Yeah, thanks."

We passed a few more hills before stopping again. "Yoshi?" "Mer?" "Why did I find you?" (H.D. Finally going to discuss it! I got all the music ideas because I'm listing to the music I downloaded from .hack//SIGN if you wanted to know.)

"Mei? Mer, Maerow meyarow." "Oh." For some reason the ring was acting as a translator. She said `because I was instructed to'. "Do you like being with me?" I wanted to know how she felt. "Yes. You're a nice boy." I blushed. The millennium ring then no longer allowed translation. "You're a nice demon." I stroked her head. She nudged me in affection.

We reached a foot of a mountain sprits and demons surrounded it. "The 7 mountains." I drew the blade given to me by the old woman and began to slay the demons, soon I'd face my father.

Part 16

I was on the 4th mountain. "3 more girl." I patted her on the back as we reached the 5th. They weren't easy to climb but we finally came to the 7th. It was an unguarded cave but I kept the dagger ready. 2 feet away from it and a large demon came to view. "RYOU BAKURA!" The monster hissed. "TO FACE THE LORD YOU MUST DEFEAT ME! HAHAHA!" He had a laugh that would make a kid cry. "So be it." A smile crept over his face. "NOW YOU DIE!" He charged for me. "Hmph." I stepped slightly left and dogged it. "GAH?!" I struck his large arm. He pulled free leaving some of his arm behind. "ARGH! YOU PAY!" With his other arm he attacked again this time giving me a minor scratch but knocked the wind out of me. "That your best?" I climbed on Yoshiko's back, the fire on her tails and paws burning rapidly. I pointed my blade to his throat. "Dive." I commanded to her. I slashed his throat a good few time before reaching the ground. He was gasping for breath. "YOU ARE NOT TO BE UNDERESTMAITED." The demon was sucked into the ground

and in it's place swarms of bug demons came rushing from the spot in the ground. "Looks like this is going to be harder than expected." I stayed firm on Yoshiko's back, 1 wrong move and I get eaten by the bugs.

All the did was slightly sting me as the went past and a small stab killed it. I guess since they were made from another they weren't so strong.

Within a hour we had cleared the path to the cave. I walked over to the rock, it was flaming hot and my shoulder began to hurt once again. I walked into the cave, the gravity pushed harder in here but nothing would stop me.

There was an entrance portal after 5 minutes of walking. Yoshiko stated for it and so did I.

H.D Well that was boring.
