Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Slowly Sinking And No One To Save Me ❯ Something Wrong ( Chapter 15 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Mistress: My prediction was right and trust me the lemon had to be the moment they admitted their love for reasons of the plot. It's going to create some angst and ammunition for Ma'at to use. So if your still uncertain about that well there's my reason. If ya don't like it noting I can do about it. But thank you for the suggestions, maybe I'll add a chapter or two in between them at some point…hm…( oh and if I do tank the great paniwi for that ^__^ )

Anyway I've decided to create the next few chapters explain the ancient Egypt part…yeah. You guys won't see much of present day Ryou and stuff so yeah…….don't know what else to say.

Thanks for reviewing though, oh and if anyone wants to rewrite the lemon in the previous chapter write it and e-mail it to me k. I'll put it in `cause we ALL know that I suck at them. So yeah.

Oh and `ll try to update a lot since I won't be updating for the whole time of June 16th through August 2nd unless something comes up.

Oh and props for those who reviewed on mediaminer and on fanfiction ^__^ thanx, lots of props for you!

Chapter 15: Something wrong

Love I've sought
Is here right now
And I am happy
But what's wrong now?

I'm done with the tears
Done with the painful years
But what is this feeling?

It's deep inside,
Eating away at me,
But what should I do?

Why can't I see
This feeling that is haunting me?

Feels like regret,
Feels like guilt,
Feels like I shouldn't love you
And you shouldn't love me

I need some answers,
Please help me see,
What is doing this to me?

`Plane A 3009 to Japan is boarding. Plane A 3009 to Japan is boarding. Please make your way to the Gate at this moment. I repeat Plane A3009 to Japan is boarding'

People walked by all minding their own business oblivious to the walking demon amongst them or the back from the dead princess. Little children cried out in boredom or were running around causing more noise. The nerves of parents were strung high and most were already snapping at their children. Some were waking from sleeping and some were falling asleep. Ma'at wasn't better of herself. It seemed strange that someone so feared and strong would be claustrophobic. Then again if your soul had been locked away with your organs(2) and your body had been cut up and stuffed in a box you'd be a little claustrophobic too.

“Calm yourself my dear,” Nadia said playing the role of husband as well as friend.

Ma'at swung her small bag to her other shoulder and looked at her long time friend forlornly. The two of them were standing in line to be admitted into the plane and the closeness of the people around them wasn't helping her stress. She had so much to plan so much to do. Not only that but she had to find Ryou and get vengeance. She sighed tiredly and leaned against Nadia. To anyone passing by it would've seemed no different than an exhausted wife resting against her husband. Nadia knew better. Even when she had been young Ma'at had never let exhaustion beat her, as a child she had been energetic and full of life. The poor dear had never even made it to adulthood.(3)

Smiling gently she stroked the woman's hair.

“Shh…it's okay, soon everything will be all right. Just wait a bit longer,” she murmured soothingly.

Ma'at nodded tiredly and stood up straight with a groan as they approached the receptionist. The woman was rather old but had a kind smile and a soft twinkle in her eye.

“Your tickets please,” she asked stretching out her hand, “oh and some tea and soft music should cure that nauseating feeling.”

Ma'at blinked in surprise. This stranger was concerned for her wellbeing. The woman smiled and Nadia pushed her along the small hall that led to the plane. Thoughts were contradicting each other inside the head of the ancient mind. Before she had realized it she was sitting in her seat (which was next to the window for obvious reasons).

“Come on sweetie, just close your eyes and sleep. You need your rest,” Nadia told her mistress(4).

Ma'at smiled gratefully and closed her eyes.

A young girl of fifteen ran down the long halls. She had long black hair into which there was gold ribbon entwined. On her forehead was a crown with a snake on it. Along her right arm a golden snake bracelet ran from wrist to shoulder. At her left ankle there was a thick golden bracelet with the word Ma'at carved into it. The first born daughter to Akhenamkhanen(5) sister to Atemu the 3 year old son of the pharaoh. She wore a simple white dress, a sort skirt that stopped at her knees and a top that tied around her neck and had a bare back. She grinned and entered the servants mess hall where she knew she would find her nany, Nadia.

The teen ran between the tables and people easily nearing the table saved for higher servants and lower priests and priestesses.

“Nadia!” the young woman exclaimed running up to a woman who had her back turned to her.

The said woman turned around. She had bright blue eyes and silky black hair that was kept hidden under a scarf. She smiled and raised a hand to excuse herself from the table. Nadia stepped slowly and gracefully down the steps and to the princess. Bowing her head slightly she greeted her charge.

“Good morning your highness,” she said raising herself straight again.

“Morning to you too,” she said cheerfully.

Nadia chuckled, “Is there a particular reason for your visit princess?”

“Why must you always assume I want something when I come, can't I just visit to say hi?” she asked rocking on her heels.

“No not when it's you we are talking about my dear, now what is it that you need?” she asked smiling at the teen.

“Well I need some normal people clothes,” Ma'at said stopping her rocking to look into Nadia's eyes.

“Let me guess, you're planning on going with the traders to town,” she said knowing the entire reason for Ma'at's need to leave the palace.

“Pwease?” she begged putting on her cutest face.

Sighing Nadia motioned for Ma'at to follow her. Letting out a squeal of joy she followed. Soon the princess had lost her jewelry and looked like any other person on the street.

“You should hurry, they will be leaving any moment,” Nadia said urging Ma'at along.

“I owe you!” Ma'at said as she ran trough the hall.

The young woman ran through the halls and hid herself under the cloth of the wagon. `Soon,' she thought , `soon I shall see you again my love'.

In present day Japan

Back at the house Ryou walked down the stairs and into the kitchen smiling as Bakura looked at him. Who would've thought, he and Bakura finally together.

“Where is everybody?” Ryou asked as he sat down at the table.

“Isis left for the tomb, the pharaoh and brat left to go home, Marik and Malik are still out somewhere,” Bakura said putting down a plate of bacon and eggs in front of the boy.

“Thanks,” Ryou said while taking a bit of the food.

Bakura nodded and sat down next to him eating is own breakfast.

“Uhm…Ryou about earlier,” Bakura began.

`Oh no, please don't have him regret it,' Ryou thought panicked but years of experience helped him hide it.(6)

“Yes?” was his only reaction.

“I hope you don't mind that we did have sex or thought I went too fast for you. I should've waited…” Bakura said fiddling with his food.

Ryou sighed in relief.

“Don't worry about it Bakura. It's fine really,” he said touching Bakura's arm gently.

Ryou's mind suddenly filled with a vision of Ma'at and his stomach tightened. He was suddenly not hungry anymore.

“Uhm Bakura, I need to go take a shower,” Ryou said thinking of the first excuse that came to mind.

Bakura only nodded and Ryou walked back up the stairs. The uncomfortable feeling in his stomach increased with every step. Finding his black notebook he opened it. Something was happening to him, he had ever had to write this much in such a small amount of time. Sure he was happy now but just the number of entries proved how miserable his life was and how pathetic he was. Why did Bakura love him anyway? Doubt mixed into him with the guilt he didn't know he was feeling. Opening to a new page he started another poem, “Something Wrong”

AUTHORS BLAH BLAH

Mistress: Say, how many of you actually read the nonsense I put here? Just wondering and for those of you who do than for caring. ^__^ Anyway back to the story, hold on, I have to clean my glasses the tea fogged them all up. Yeah I wear glasses, I got them a few weeks back, I'm near sighted. Anyway these next few chapters will be on the past and explaining crap, also we'll see Isis at the tomb and a few appearances by Yugi and Yami I think. Oh and if you're confused feel free to state your question in your review and I'll see if it was my horrible explaining skills or if the answer to it is coming up further in the story.

I added that little part there because you know A: some more drama and stuff, B: filler, and C: it softens the lemon in the last chapter a bit don't you think? OH and thank you to those of you who reviewed despite complications with fanfiction. I love reading your reviews, it's half the fun of being a writer ^__^.

(1)All the poems for the past(past meaning memories) chapters will be a little hard to write `cause you know most of them are Ma'at's memories but I think I can figure out how to get them into it.
(2)Some more explaining. When bodies were mummified the soft organs ( heart, brain, intestines etc.) were placed into a jar with the head of a God or Goddess or an animal scared to Egypt. But as we know in Ma'at's case it was just a jar with a seal on it.
(3)Some more explaining. I know some may say well she's only 15 and she has a lover. Well people, back then they were marrying their children off at 13 and having babes at 15 16 so yeah.
(4)Before any of you hentai people out there get any ideas if you're boss was a woman she was called your mistress ( female form of master) also in Nadia's case she was her servant and her nany so Ma'at could also be referred to as her charge, meaning who she was assigned to.
(5)According to the Manga that is the name of Atemu's father so I'm going with that, and seeing as Ma'at was Atemu's sister they'd naturally have the same father…or they could have the same mother and not father but they have the same parents. Oh and for info sake their mom died when giving birth to Atemu. Adds to plot, trust me.
(6)This may confuse some people, what I mean is that when Bakura was still abusive Ryou would've had to learn how to block out certain things or put on a mask of some sort if this is making any sense.
