Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Songbird ❯ Two Of A Kind ( Chapter 8 )
Her eyes turned gold and the immediately stopped beating on her and started running but as they were all running each one was shot down and the man who started it all, stayed in front of her staring into those fearless golden eyes and realized he made a mistake but it was too late. His heart bursts and he collapsed in front of her. Kimora just stood their, facing straight ahead. Her hair was the only thing moving in the wind and the rest of her was dormant. A little child appeared out of the alley. She obviously had no family or home and just wandered around the village. She walked up to Kimora and looked into her eyes for a moment until she backed away, when she felt her heart getting hotter. She grabbed her cold hands and led her over to her little hut were she slept and lied her down and shut her eyelids.
The women and children that escaped the village arrived at Meretseger and paraded into the Palace with complaints. The remaining Priests were just about to leave and meet up with the Pharaoh but as soon as they heard these women wailing about an evil woman that came into the village with wicked eyes threatening to destroy the village they almost instantly knew whom these women were talking about. Priestess Ishizu agreed to go into the village and search for Kimora while the rest of the Priests caught up with the Pharaoh. They disapproved of her going but she assured them that she would be fine and they left her to it. In the Meantime these women told Azila about what happened earlier and what happened many years ago.
A young woman used to live in the village and grew up on the streets because her mother was hung for stealing. The people caught her stealing one day and were ready to hang her but she surprised them all with a massive creature unlike any that they have ever seen. The whole area turned silver as did her eyes and she destroyed their souls and left them a blank corpse. There was no where to run or hide; only death was the way out.
The Pharaoh who stood on the balcony over looking the land managed to see this bright light and quickly gathered up his Priests and his troops to follow it. When the Pharaoh got their it was too late. The shells of the people lie dormant while their souls had been destroyed, the only one alive was the young lady who was still caught in the trance and still had that silver look in her eye. The Pharaoh took her back to the Palace to be taken care of, later became his Queen and bore his child who is now the King. As for the village, he only said that the same thieves that planned to attack his Palace were the same ones that attacked the village and never revealed the truth to anyone.
Azila was at an advantage now. She was planning to use this information to sabotage Kimora. She told the villagers of their tragic story and they welcomed them with open arms and offered shelter and food. Now all she had to do was wait and then her plan can commence.
Priestess Ishizu had just arrived at the village and looked around for anymore survivors. She saw a little girl taking food from an empty shop but when she saw the Priestess it frightened her and she ran away. Priestess Ishizu ran after her, which led her to Kimora. The little girl stared at the Priestess and Priestess Ishizu just smiled. She lifted Kimora up, threw her arm over her shoulder and dragged her out of the village. The little girl watched them walk away until Priestess Ishizu turned around and ushered the little girl to come along and her face brightened with pleasure as she ran to catch up and used her little body to help carry Kimora.
When they returned to the village everyone watched them. Priestess Ishizu could feel the rage as they stared at them heading towards the Palace ready to attack at any moment. Priestess Ishizu didn't think anything of it but knew that something wasn't right.
When they got to the Palace some servants rushed over and took Kimora off her shoulders and Priestess Ishizu left once again to go help the Pharaoh and the other Priests. Kimora was taken to the medical center to be taken care of by Aziza. The little girl that tagged along was already cleaned up and was watching Aziza take care of Kimora. Azila watched from afar whispering. "Its time..."
The Pharaoh had just defeated Bakura inside Kuruelna. He stayed there for a moment while the other Priests returned to the Palace. His puzzle began to glow usually bright, and then he knew that something big was about to happen. He got back on his horse to catch up with the others but he knew that it might be too late. Zork had already taken over Priest Seto's body and exchanged Kisara for the Blue Eyes White Dragon and yet he too could also sense that something big was about to happen. He disappeared and watched from a distance waiting for something to jump off.
Azila and a large group of villagers bursts into the room where Kimora was being taken care of and demanded that Aziza and the little girl step aside while they finish her off. But Aziza warned her that doing so will only make her angrier but Azila didn't listen and threatened to kill her sister if she didn't cooperate. She sighed and grabbed the little girl and carried her out the room and stood in the doorway watching them. "It will all end soon. And then we will get the praise for defeating you..." Azila launched her sword into Kimora but it melted and her eyes shot open. They backed away as she rose up to her feet and one by one the villagers collapsed on the floor. Azila looked at them and then shouted and began charging at Kimora who killed her instantly. Aziza and the little girl backed away from her and she stared into her eyes as she got closer. "Don't look directly at her!" The little girl cried and then Aziza shut her eyes and opened them back up only to find that Kimora had walked away.
Large groups of villagers jumped out from every direction to attack but Kimora just destroyed them. When she got to the throne room she was surrounded yet again by an even larger group of villagers. They told her to surrender but tears began running down her face as she laughed at them and suddenly started screaming forcing them to cover their ears as a gargantuan Ka emerged from her body, towering over everyone and everything, tearing the roof off of the Palace. The top balcony was covered with servants watching not knowing what to do. Everything turned gold and they all looked at each other oddly touching their gold skin and watching Kimora. Then the beast growled and began to gear up for attack and they all ran for their lives, screaming and crying and grabbing what they could and got out of their. The servants began to leave as well but the little girl stood there and continued to watch Kimora. She didn't seem frightened like everyone else. She just wanted to see. Aziza kept calling out to her but she ignored her and the other servants were telling her to leave the girl and save herself but she couldn't and decide to stay and watch this miraculous event with her.
The Priests were also helping the villagers escape as they made their way to the Palace with the Pharaoh following behind looking at this mysterious golden city, watching the people run wildly and screaming, carrying whatever they could hold. When he looked up and saw the creature in his Palace he knew right then and they're that Kimora was in the middle of this. When they entered the Palace and saw a gold Kimora standing there, they knew it was way too late to try and stop her now. Aziza and the little girl rushed down the stairs and told the Pharaoh what happened. The Priests were standing by the door ready to leave and pressuring the Pharaoh to do the same but he wanted to help her, he desperately wanted to save her. He saw some good in her and yet people still brought out the evil in her. The Priests began shouting and screaming at the Pharaoh to come an take cover but he shook his head and told them that he was going to stay and help her.
The Priests looked at each other and then decided to stay and help the Pharaoh as well.
"Is this what it has come to? Are my people more horrid than I thought they were? Has someone poisoned their minds into thinking that she...a woman they barely even knew...is the reason for all that is bad. I wish she would have came to me first before this...Now I'm not sure whether our strength alone can stop this beast from attacking. Now I know why my father was so scared and warned her not to use it...Their hate for her has corrupted her mind and now they will all pay the price...or will we all pay the price...What's done is done...I will fight to the death and save whatever is left of Kimora...before she attacks..."
