Oh, and as to the sequel to Koibito Yami, Millennium Balance, IT GOT DELETED! Not from ff.net, I never had a chance to post it. It got deleted from my computer, so I have to start over. I*ll do what I can, as fast as I can.
Chapter 5
The Surrender
*I can*t believe this*.* Otogi whimpered, as Tristan pulled him into his arms. *Why?* Tristan comforted his younger lover as best he could, while Joey turned to Seto for comfort.
*Yugi?* Seto called, as Yugi walked away.
*I, I need some time alone. To think.* Yugi mumbled, and leapt into the sky, diving off of the clouds. He flew with no destination in mind, just thinking, and allowing the tears to flow freely and be dried on his cheeks by the wind. He suddenly stopped and hovered, when he saw two dark shapes, cutting effortlessly through the sky, towards him. He landed softly, and watched them come, no emotion in him whatsoever. When the demons landed, however, only one thing filled him; hatred.
*You*.* He snarled. Marik and Bakura smirked at him.
*these angels are just asking for it, now** Marik said, grinning.
*Yugi, isn*t it?* Bakura said. Marik smacked Bakura upside the head.
*Oh, great job, Bakura. You can remember the name of my counterpart, and Yami*s, but not your own*.*
*I can too!* Bakura growled.
*Oh yeah? Then what*s his name?*
*Uhhh*.. Leo.* Marik laughed.
*It*s RYOU, stupid*.*
*Ah, close enough.* Bakura snarled. Marik grinned, and looked back at Yugi.
*So, what*re you doing out here, all alone, angel?*
*What*s it to you?* Yugi snapped, and Marik grinned. He slowly stalked up to Yugi, and circled him, inspecting him from every angle. Bakura raised his eyebrows, and Yugi froze, when Marik buried his face into Yugi*s wings.
*Hmmmm*.. interesting. They each have their own individual scent.* Marik said.
*Huh?* Bakura said.
*Well, your has that creamy, gardenia-like scent** Marik said. Yugi*s eyes widened. He knew the scents of his friends well, and Marik could very well be describing Ryou*. Yugi scowled. What the hell had the demons done with Ryou*s body? They had to have done something to know Ryou*s scent. *My own counterpart, has a sharp, spicy scent, like cinnamon*.* Yugi frowned. That sounded like Malik*.. *This one smells like*.* He took another whiff. *Honeysuckle*** Yugi jerked away.
*Why are you comparing the scents of the angels?* Bakura asked, grinning. *Do you always go around scaring the shit out of angels by sniffing them?* Marik shrugged.
*A new hobby of mine. Is someone staying with yours, by the way?*
*He*s sleeping. And I locked the door.*
*Ah. I locked the door, and the wall chains are finally being put to use.* Yugi stared.
*What are you talking about?!?* Yugi gasped, and the demons looked at him. *They*re alive? Malik and, and Ryou, are ALIVE?!?*
*Of course.* Bakura said, grinning. *They*re alive and quite well.*
*Quite pissed, but quite well.* Marik added.
*Speak for your own angel. Mine is adjusting, and hasn*t threatened my life yet.* Bakura snorted.
*yours is s wimp!* Marik growled.
*He saved Yami from Keith.* Bakura pointed out.
*True*.* Marik said.
*Where are they?* Yugi growled, clenching his fists. *Give them back. NOW!!!* The demons stared at him, amused.
*No.* Bakura said. Marik grinned and knelt in front of Yugi.
*you want to see them?* He asked. Yugi nodded. *How about this* You come back here in six hours. Yami, your counterpart, will be on patrol then, with Katsuya. He may bring you back with him, or he may kill you. It*s his call. But if he brings you back, you*ll see them.*
*I*m not that stupid.* Yugi scoffed. Marik stood, and shrugged.
*It*s the only way to see them.* The blonde demon said. *Your call, kid. I*ll give Malik your love.* He said, and started to head to the edge of the cloud.
*Wait!* Yugi cried, and both demons turned. *Tea*. Was she with Malik?*
*the brown haired girl?*
*Yes! How is she?!* Marik faced Yugi.
*She*s dead.* He said, and Yugi paled. *If it makes you feel better, she took Anzu with her. But she is quite dead.* Marik turned, and dove off of the cloud, Bakura close behind him. Yugi watched them go, then fell to his knees, and cried, in grief for Tea, and in relief for Ryou and Malik.
**********
*He didn*t fight you at all?* Bakura asked, as he and Marik flew back to their homes.
*No. He told me some interesting things. Do you know why he was so determined to kill you?*
*No. Why?*
*He and Ryou are lovers.*
*What?!?* Bakura shrieked.
*That*s what he told me. And the day after tomorrow is your angel*s sixteenth birthday.*
*Really*.* Bakura drawled, and smirked. *Interesting. That gives me an idea.*
*What? What are you thinking?*
*Well, if they both behave, why don*t you bring Malik by on Ryou*s birthday.*
*Hah! I like the way you think.* Marik said, grinning. *See you later.* And he swerved down to his home. Bakura flew a few streets away, and landed on his doorstep. He opened the door, and sniffed. Something smelled good. He closed the door, and headed to the kitchen, where he found Ryou pottering about.
*I don*t know what you*re doing, but it smells good.* Bakura said. Ryou let out a startled yelp, and dropped the bowl he was holding. It shattered. *Don*t move.* Bakura said, noticing that the fledgling angel was standing bare footed among broken glass. He walked through it, hearing it crunch under his boots, and placed his hands gently in Ryou*s waist, and lifted him up, setting him on the counter. Then, he got the broom and dustpan, and swept the glass up. Then, he lifted the lid on the large pot on the stove and stared.
*Lobsters? Where in the inferno did you get those?!* He asked. Ryou slid off of the counter.
*Yami brought them, Master. To say thank you for saving him this afternoon.*
*Oh. How*d he get in? The door*s locked.*
*He has a key, Master.*
*Oh, yeah*.* Bakura said, and looked at the rice in the other pot.
*Master?*
*Yes?*
*How did Yami get lobsters?*
*Oh, we have a trading system set up with Men of Earth.*
*Oh. So do we.*
*I know. Asparagus. Wow. You*ve out done yourself.* Bakura said, snitching a stalk of the green vegetable. Ryou blushed, and picked up some tongs, removing the first big red lobster, and put it on a plate. He spooned some rice and asparagus onto a plate, and laid it on the table, then indicated that it was for Bakura. Bakura smirked, and sat, then watched the boy fix his own plate, with another lobster, smaller than Bakura*s, but still big. He then gave Bakura a small bowl of melted butter. Bakura smirked.
*I think wine would go well with this.* He said, and got up, going to the living room, where there was a wine rack. He looked them over, then smirked, pulling one. *This should go well. What do you think of pinot grigio?* Ryou blinked.
*I, I don*t know anything about wine, Master.*
*Oh? Well, you*ll have to learn. I have a great taste for wine.* Bakura said, setting two glasses down, and popped the cork out, the pop making Ryou jump. Bakura frowned. *I*ve said it before, angel, and I*ll say it again. You are entirely too skittish.*
*With all due respect, Master,* Ryou said, softly, staring at his lobster. *Can you blame me?* Bakura sat down, and frowned.
*No, I suppose not.* He said, and began eating, noting that Ryou did not begin until he had. He watched the boy take small, dainty bites. But halfway through his meal, Ryou dropped his fork with a clatter, and put his head in his hands. Bakura stared at him, and watched his shoulders shake. His eyes widened, when a tear, sparkling like a diamond, fell to the table top. Bakura stood, and slowly approached the fledgling. He knelt, and pulled Ryou*s hands from his face.
*Ryou? What*s wrong?* He asked gently. Ryou sobbed, and shook his head, unable to speak. Bakura pushed his hair back from his face and looked into the deep brown eyes. He wiped Ryou*s tears away with his thumb, then pulled Ryou into the arms.
*Shhhhhh*.. It*s okay, little one.* He whispered, and lifted Ryou into his arms, cradling him like a small child. Bakura carried the crying angel up the stairs and laid him gently on the bed. Ryou hardly noticed, until Bakura slid in next to him.
*No! NO!* He screamed, and thrashed. Bakura pinned Ryou down, straddling his hips.
*Shut up!* He barked, and Ryou squeaked. *Look at me.* He commanded, and Ryou obeyed. *Relax.* When Ryou did, he reached up, and stroked the angel*s cheek. Slowly, he leaned down, and pressed his lips to Ryou*s. Ryou*s eyes widened, in shock. Bakura felt like Malik*. When Bakura traced Ryou*s lips with his tongue the angel parted them, and Bakura slipped his tongue into the sweet mouth, curling his tongue around Ryou*s. Bakura moaned, then released Ryou. They stared at each other.
*You*re so beautiful** Bakura whispered. *I told you that I would not rape you. I have no intention of breaking my word. You have nothing to fear from me, little one. But from now on, you will share my bed. You*ll get sick sleeping on the floor. Is that clear?* Ryou swallowed.
*Yes, Master.* Ryou whimpered. Bakura smiled, and kissed hid forehead, then rolled off of him. He pulled Ryou over so that the boy*s head rested on the demon*s shoulder, and his hand over the demon*s heart. Ryou swallowed, when Bakura*s tail wrapped firmly around his waist, and his wings wrapped around both of their bodies. Bakura drew the blankets over them, and closed his eyes. He was soon snoring softly, and Ryou sighed.
*He*s not so bad.* Ryou thought to himself. *He really hasn*t hurt me. He*s been very kind for the most part. He doesn*t seem to WANT to hurt me. And he promised he wouldn*t*. rape me*.. Maybe Bakura isn*t so bad*.. He*s been rather* gentle. He kisses like Malik. Wait. Why did he kiss me?/ Ryou frowned, and looked up at Bakura*s face, a ghostly white in the darkness. Ryou swallowed, nervously, then slowly, gently, brushed his lips over Bakura*s. He smiled slightly, amazed at his own daring, and at the sweet softness of the demon*s lips. He rested his head on Bakura*s chest again, and cuddled close to his body, relaxing.
The demon*s lips curled in a satisfied smirk, and the violet eyes cracked open, to stare at the face of the sleeping angel. Bakura closed his eyes, and pulled Ryou closer.
****************
Yugi narrowed his eyes at the two figures gliding towards him. They didn*t see him; his wings blended in with the clouds. As they drew closer, Yugi recognized what had to be his counterpart. With a shout, he dove off of the cloud, and rocketed towards the demon. He slammed into him, and they crashed onto a cloud. Katsuya stared. Yami opened his eyes, and stared in shock at Yugi.
*Take me to Ryou and Malik** Yugi snarled, a tear running down his face. *NOW!* Yami blinked.
*You are asking me to take you to Hell?*
*Yes.*
*You are willing to come, without a fight?*
*Yes.*
*You realize, that I can never let you leave*.*
**.. Yes.* Yugi snapped. Yami blinked.
*Marik and Bakura put you up to this, didn*t they?*
*Yes*.*
*I see.*
*Take me to them.* Yugi demanded, in a firm, yet trembling voice. Yami sighed, and looked at Katsuya. He quickly flipped Yugi off of him.
*Fine. Say goodbye to your world, angel. You will only know mine, from now on.* Yugi*s eyes widened, and the last thing he saw, was the demon*s fist, before all went black.
*************
Yugi opened his eyes, slowly, and found himself in a large bed, next to peacefully sleeping demon. He began to move away, but found the demon*s tail wrapped securely around his wrist. The demon moaned, and shifted. Yugi scowled, and picked up a pillow, and promptly bashed the demon in the face. Yami jerked awake.
*What in Dante*s name was that for?!* He roared. Yugi scowled.
*Where are Malik and Ryou?* Yugi demanded. Yami glared.
*Sleeping! It*s the middle of the night!*
*I want to see them, NOW!*
*You forget, angel. You gave up your freedom! You belong to me. You will see them soon. But only when you get it in your head, that you, belong, to ME!* And Yami slapped Yugi across the face. Yugi froze, and felt the tears fill his eyes. Yami forced Yugi to look at him.
*This was your choice, Yugi.*
*How, how did you know my name?*
*Ryou told me. He*s quite* INTERESTING***
*What have you done to him?!* Yugi gasped.
*If you must know, he saved me this afternoon. From being raped. He was almost raped himself as a consequence. You will see him. I owe him a friendly face, at least.* Yami said, ruffling Yugi*s hair. *Listen. Ryou is adjusting fine down here. You can too.*
*And, Malik?*
*Uhhh, actually, he*s adjusting as well. I*m not cruel and heartless. You behave, and you may grow to like your new home. And, maybe, me.* Yugi sighed, and looked away, then nodded. *Thank you.* Yami said, and smiled. *Welcome to Hell.*
