The silence was rather cold.
Tension hung in the air between them, a happily uncomfortable tension. Yami no Yuugi basked in it. Love wasn't supposed to be comfortable. It was supposed to make you squirm and tremble on the inside, make you shift in your seat. If it didn't make you hurt, it wasn't love.
And Yami no Bakura loved him *so* much.
They were both reveling in the tension of their latest fight-- what was that about again?
"I love you."
Yami looked up at Bakura, down at the bruises on his arms, and smiled.
"I love you, too."
